Great diner! Tons of tasty options. If you’re looking for a satisfying treat meal I suggest the disco fries. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is because the kitchen staff doesn’t speak good English and that affects how my order comes out and restricts my ability to order what I want sometimes.
At lesst they try. My associate and I visit 2 eat-in places each week. The diners dont do well because they process people instead of food. We havent found even one that is excellent. Its difficult to come up with a poorly served bagel and coffee. The Acropolis manages to do this. Its the bagel, the coffee is not bad,
It always was a great diner and still is!The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The waitresses and waitors are friendly, polite and receptive to customers requests.I highly recommend trying this diner if you havent already done so. I am a repeat customer for life.
This place was great. Very very affordable food high quality and very large servings. The wait staff was absolutely excellent on point with everything very personable. I will definitely be visiting this place again. Highly recommended by Mr USA Tony Atlas one of my good friends W.W.E Hall of Famer. Please make sure you take care of the weight staff they seem to be short-handed but they hustle.
This is a very nice diner. The staff is friendly and quick to serve you. There is more than enough food on your plate. The desserts are very large. Their prices are reasonable for the large servings that you get. I will definitely come back here the next time I am in the area.
Its ok, I wouldnt recommend it unless your other choice is eveready diner... the food wasnt bad, some was excellent some was par to sub-par... the prices are much higher than your average diner and the portions are much smaller than expected... go here if you want to try it, but depending on how deep your pockets are, you probably wont go back... example, steaks here are more expensive than steaks at Texas roadhouse... chicken parm (one slab of chicken) 18.99.... French onion soup was great though... good servers, friendly staff.
We used to eat at this diner all the time. Tonight we ordered Chopped sirloin dinner medium rare. They gave us large, evening cut chunks of some kind of beef over cooked. It was definitely NOT SIRLOIN. We also ordered LONDON BROIL COOKED MEDIUM RARE. They gave us overvooked Toast Beef! The food is lousy!. They need to find a good cook. The people ate nice but the food is bad!

Very nice Diner 24 hours. Wide variety of items on the menu they have a very nice dessert bar with lots of cakes. Breakfast was amazing was the only meal we had here wife and I both enjoyed it if youre in the area be sure to check them out theyre always open. We went to this diner for years and then new owners took over so we went last night they must have the same Chef in the kitchen because the food was still great that chicken francese with shrimp is one of his favorites and he enjoyed it it wasnt that busy were like one of the only couples there until 3 or 4 more couples and family started to come in it was around 6:30 in the evening but enjoyable the ceiling in the place needs to be redone though
Food was decent, waited very long and the quality of the food was terrible. Had breakfast and lunch before here, both times took forever and like I said ingredients and quality are not up to standards. Great for a quick bite if u need to get something in ur belly but not to be enjoyed in a sitting for a nice meal

Went out for late night breakfast. Blueberry pancakes were good with ham and eggs. Waitress was attentive and nice.
Everywhere it states that this place is open 24 hours. When we get there, the sign is screaming open 24 hours. Try to open door and its locked. A guy is inside cleaning and slices his neck stating that its closed. Meanwhile, we also tried to call the diner a few times so we could place an order but no one picked up. Had they picked up the phone, they could have informed us not sticking with the 24 hours.
Eh...its not what it used to be. I guess thats to be expected. Loved it pre COVID. Now, other than not having to cook, Id rather eat at home.
The first time in twenty years I ever left the Acrpols hungry. Covid must of really hurt them. Price was the same, but my meal was the size of an appetizer. Had to go for pizza to satisfy my hunger

Me and my friend went there to do a zoom meeting so we obviously needed a little privacy but the waitress we had was out of this world she was very attentive even though we were just getting coffee she was so good that I left her an excessive tip she was very respectful and very attentive very kind if only every restaurant had a waitress like her

The salad had the dressing ON IT instead of on the side which made it soggy and uneatable after about 5 minutes. The Zucchini were breaded with crumbs in which you could taste the whole restaurant. Stale and awful! the salmon was dry and the french fries just strewn all over the sandwich, which also created a soggy mess and I had to pick out edible pieces with a fork. altogether DISGUSTING and SOGGY. NEVER EVER ordering from here again. I KNOW the Acrop and had meh experiences before but not like this. AWFUL!!!!!!! I threw it all away

Good food at a good price. Not happy that our waitress was clearly not wearing her mask correctly and that she didnt seem to care that anyone else might be uncomfortable because of it. Seriously considering not returning until after the pandemic is over.
My aunt and my daughter stop in 06/09/21 for lunch and the food wasnt very good and we had desert to go rice pudding and cheese cake we got home and cheese cake was strawberry short cake and it was bad.the rice pudding was sour .when we called he accuse us of lieing that we didnt eat there .what happen to kindness and Im sorry for bad exsperiece .we will not be going there again ever ready is a better diner .that for sure .

Love the quality of service here. Have always had a wonderful experience with the staff, enjoyed the food and appreciated the prices. I would recommend their NY style cheesecake. Its the best in the area. Growing up it was always my favorite and during a recent trip back to NY/POK I was pleasantly surprised to discover its just as good as it always was. Their strawberry cheesecake is also a serious contender.
Food here was wonderful, I had a Philly steak sandwich that was excellent. But I must say they have some of the best fries around, they were absolutely done to perfection. Golden brown and with the right crispness. Im usually in New Paltz but I will have to make a special trip for this diner.
Highly recommend checking out their dinner specials. Lots of food for a low price. Good food. I like their peel your own shrimp. Clean place. Great service!

Food was awful. I ordered the southwest wrap and the nachos. The wrap was full of this shredded chicken that was completely tasteless and looked almost gray. Looked kind of like cat food. Nachos had hair in it and tasted off. I ended up not eating either. Definitely will not be ordering from here again

It was good. I met an old friend for lunch to catch up. The server (Monica) was wonderful and food was good. I hadnt been there for a while and was pleasantly surprised.
Great place to eat. The specials are always on point. The taco salad that I should have gotten was absolutely enormous. I ended up with a good breakfast for my dinner. Overall this is a good diner. Good parking and good prices. Im sure I will return in the future.

Our waitress was amazing, she was super kind. The issue was, the food was terrible. Some stuff was undercooked. The ham on one of our sandwiches looked & tasted like it was going bad. Our waitress asked the manager to come speak to us and instead he sat there, staring at us, shaking his head and rolling his eyes. We understand mistakes happen, but a simple apology from the manager would of been nice. Only the waitress was trying to help us.

The food was fantastic and the portions were good for the price. I have to take a star off for atmosphere unfortunately though, I am a rather portly fellow shall we say, and the booth my friend and I were ushered too was noticibly small a person of my size. I feel like if we had been offered a different seating option it would have been a five star experience.

I went yesterday for late lunch and the food was absolutely delicious! Our waitress Monica is very friendly and she was very honest in helping us with our choices. Everything she recommended was good. I ordered iced tea and it was the best iced tea I have ever had at a restaurant. Very warm atmosphere.I am definitely going back soon for breakfast on my birthday.

Theres been a few times an order had something missing, but this restaurant can get quite busy and I understand that ordering take away in that time can make things more hectic. The food is always very good, the portions large, and the service is always timely and staff are kind. I recommend this place to anyone looking for good diner food.

The Acropolis is my hyper_local spot when I am taking care of business at Vassar College + its perimeters. Excellent spot for standard breakfast cuisine no matter the hour. The early morning staff is who I know best. Tip them well because they serve up good vittles with good humour + real time flair.

Honestly I wouldnt recommend this diner. I was disappointed in both the food and the staff. Dont waste your time or money and go to a different diner.I went again today and this is honestly going down hill. the waiter was the only part of the new experience that I can honestly say was good and the reason why I gave an extra star instead of going down to just one star. I ordered a burger medium temperature. Its not hard to do that and it was rare. Took awhile to even get a menu. Just not a good diner! Go to any other diner.
Decent local diner. They sell alright food for a low price. The food is cheap in quality and cost to the consumer. You get what you pay for. Typical diner atmosphere, could use a little cleaning. Friendly staff, has been in same location for years. Best thing in my opinion is the 24 hour service.
It was an alright experience. The food was good but more expensive than I expected from a casual diner. The staff was very cordial with myself and my daughter. There were some obvious regulars they were super friendly with so maybe it was just us? I dont know . The food came out quickly and everything was clean and well maintained.

Texas Burger was amazing. Put on the onion rings and you have to squeeze it to bite into the sandwich. Incredible food for the price. You will have leftovers.
