Okay. Staff was wonderful. Thanksgiving decor was very light. Sadly the leftover Halloween decor was heavier than Thanksgiving decor. Again the staff were wonderful.

Prices and staff were great! There were things that I couldnt find.

Bought a leather section with a $300 warrenty. The seems split in 3 different places and the leather began pealing and long and behold the $300 warrenty we were told would cover to either r fix or replace the couch, doesnt cover seems or basic Wear and tear.Such a waste of money and I will never purchase from here again.

Good discounts on a variety of household items. Keep in mind it is a discount store so things like delivery or furniture set up, or special orders may not be available. Prices are inexpensive so you tend to get what you pay for. Cashiers are pleasant and helpful too.

I want to pay homage and express my gratitude towards your staff/employee named Caleb. I was in your store on this past Friday, 4/27/2018. I came over to your store seeking beds for my grandchildren after not being able to purchase the mattresses needed at your Centerville store. Unlike your Centerville store, I was greeted immediately and waited on in a professional and timely manner. The thing that impressed me the most was the fact that there were others in the store potentially shopping for furniture, your employee (Caleb) was able to accommodate all parties in just the most admirable way.I finally narrowed which bed I wanted though initially, I was halted between two opinions. Caleb provided the information that I needed in order for me to make the best purchasing decision for me. However, after he called the company to set up delivery and assembly, they stated that they could deliver the next day; however, they were unable to assemble until next week. Well, Caleb offered to come put the bed together himself on Monday or Tuesday at no additional cost to me the consumer.I wanted to compensate him for his kindness and willingness to put the beds together, and he simply refused. You really dont find this level of courtesy and professionalism in customer service much anymore if ever.It would be a shame for me to not at least take a moment to make mention of this experience because these type of retail experiences are so few and far apart.So, in essence, I just wanted to make known the extent of my gratitude in hopes that you will also acknowledge this employee as one who is not only courteous, but also conducts business with an attitude of excellence.

This store robbed me of my money only for the uncaring and inconsistent associates such David and his manager would only defend and cover the negligence of their mediocre employees who lied about not being able to make returns during but after the global pandemic to a certain extent, and when I came back after that deadline, I couldnt and was denied to get my money back. Wont shop here again.

The store tries hard, but sometimes lacks a better in store experience for its shopping guest. Better merchandising and cleaner isles would go a long way. Generally thestaff is nice and prices are right for a number of products that are sold.Just seems the store needs more direction. Location very convenient.

This store is usually neat and clean. Employees seem to be happy and willing to assist customers especially when Dottie is there. I love seeing her there. She has great energy and presents a happy to help demeanor. I seem to spend more than anticipated in this store.

I was in the store on Wednesday approximately 1 p.m. to which the person in front of me had a return without a receipt. The cashier called the manager for assistance he advised her to leave a line of customers to go seek the item. Perhaps more training for managers is necessary.the first thing taught is take care of your customers not leave a line of people and go try to find an item.

Nice store with a lot of varied items. Snacks, furniture, outdoor furniture, gardening supplies, outside lights, planters etc.Nice store over all.My only complaint is there is always a long line and usually only one register open. Last visit there were three employers in the register area, only one cashier dealing with returns and new purchases.Got a great deal on potting soil and planters last visit.

Big Lots is a cross between a general store and the flea market. A little bit of everything is available here, including household furnishings, food, clothing, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and seasonal items. Most prices are discounted moderately to deeply.The food is mostly non-perishable items. There are many European imports, such as Scandinavian berry preserves and German cookies. There is a small refrigerated section with a limited selection of dairy and packaged cold cuts. There is no produce or other highly-perishable food.If you shop around, there are some great values here. For example, Fresh Finds brand oatmeal in the large 40-oz containers is $2.35--well under half the going rate for Quaker, and I think the quality is actually better, too.The downside is that there are no guarantees at all as to what is in stock. Just as you get used to some steal deal you think youve found, it may dissappear. And then just as youre thinking its gone for good, it pops up again. Think of it as cheap entertainment.

Great prices on many items even those that can be difficult to find. The store is usually clean and tidy. There is usually only one cashier however we have never had to wait long in line. I buy all my Febreeze plug-in here because they are available at the best price I have seen. They always have a nice assortment of holiday decorations too.

Weve gone to other places for furniture but could find what we needed. My wife suggested BLs since we had success here in the past. Its reasonable furniture nothing fancy. They had what we needed and at a good price. What also was nice was the young man who was putting furniture together in the back. He went out of his way to be helpful. This was a plus. I only wish I asked his name to include it in review.A+ Big Lots.

Prices are pretty good. When you can find an employee they are quite helpful. But the could have more staff and be better stocked on the shelves. It was an okay experience. Its not a bad store and employees are friendly and helpful but this store has room for improvement. I will shop there again byt its not my first choice due to what things i have mentioned.

It was great I purchased over 40 boxes of Christmas Cards, they were $1.50, $2.50, and $3.50 an box :) Im already excited for next year lol. Everything is pretty good in the store. No complaints!!!

I always go here when I need a quick snack or even gift for a friend or family member. They have plenty of gift sets that are perfect for the holidays at great prices. The couches and other furniture that they have here are very nice and comfortable feeling in stores. Mattresses are also sold here.

I find that when I go to Big Lots it is hot and miss. Sometimes I find what is on my list or part of my list. Other times I dont really find what Im looking for at all. They do have good deals on seemingly decent quality products. It can be annoyingly busy with only one register open.

Here to, I used to love this store but now its like pulling teeth to get someone to help you and be curtious doing so instead of acting like youre bothering them. Most of the time there is a lot of stuff on the floor and in the way and since my mom is legally blind, its dangerous for her because she could trip and fall. The fact is she loves this store and spends a lot of money here, I think people should be a little more respectful and also keep the store a little neater. I understand its hard when people are coming and going and taking stuff from one place and cramming it somewhere it doesnt belong, but isnt that what the staff is paid in part to do?

Employees are very rude walked in at 8:50 and the cashier proceeded to yell at me “THE STORE IS CLOSING IN 5 MINUTES” was very annoyed bc I needed 2 items, at 8:55 she said over the store that the store closes in 5 minutes and she will be turning the lights off and to stop shopping and come up with the items i had. (I was the only customer in the store) What an awful customer service experience, I understood that the store closed at 9 but i would’ve been out of the store at 9 if I wasn’t being harassed by the employees. I will not be returning to this store, shame on big lots it will be the next k Mart in a year tops

Good variety of holiday items. Expanded food section. Furniature, house items, personal care, etc. Inexpensive mostly but some items are the same as regular retail.

You can always find something amazing. If you find something there thats at an insanely good price Id snag up as many as you can while supplies last. I also love their food isles.

The prices seem pretty high for such basic items, and they need to work on the AC as well.

Love love love Big Lots! Been broke ever since they came to town. More Dept store feel than Ocean State, but I like them for different reasons. Avoid furniture unless youre really broke (like me). Nice lot of bedding and bath, just check quality on some. Overbuy cubes and the fabric boxes.

This store is usually well stocked but this time I visited a lot of shelves were half empty probably due to pandemic supply chain issues.

It was a great experience Seqwan and Bob are the best. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend anyone to go try it out.

Eh. Could be better. Could be worse. Bought an oscillating fan but when I went to put it together I find that parts are broken and missing. They accepted the return but my advice is to check all returns before restocking the item.
