I have an long time customer brought my first plow from them. With not problem and had service every year by this company. I was disappointed in the service I received this time. I guess wasnt good enough because I was just an homeowner not an contractor. The salesman Lucas kept putting me off and wouldnt give an honest answer if they did have the plow in stock or not for several months.it only I threaten to go to owners that I got an answer.I had the plow put on the other day and Lucas didnt even come introduce himself to me . Which that is rude and Poor customer service.Watch out when you to pay them they will charge you a 3% administration fee even when you pay with a Certified check. Guess I got changed the 3% because Im homeowner not a contractor.I really disappointed since I have been long-term customer.Ill see next year if I get the same treatment when my plow needs to be serviced for the winter

Called up HRTNT and spoke to Lucas, they had the exact trailer we wanted, very easy to deal with, and Lucas had all the paperwork ready by the time I arrived to pick up the trailer, in and out in 15 minutes.Drove 1.5 hours, and will still come back again for any other trailer needs, no fees or BS. Highly recommend.

We first used Hudson River for an installation of a rack body and lift-gate on a Isuzu. The job went fine. We took a 2013 Chevy dump body to correct a tailgate issue where it did not align properly and to also install a manual tarp. We then purchased a brand new trailer from them this past November. We had an issue where the front left axle bent on the trailer at a nearby job. We took the trailer over to Hudson River that day to see if they would be able to give an estimate for a new axle and if we could leave the trailer on site as it was not safe to drive an hour back to our office. Doug (who was the salesman who sold us the trailer) told us we could not leave the trailer there and that it did not matter we purchased the trailer from them, or that we given them a lot of business with our other vehicles. He made us take the trailer an hour back to our office in the unsafe state it was. We are still waiting for a quote on a replacement axle and it has been 4 days. We are extremely disappointed with the customer service at this company.

Just purchased a 7x12 covered wagon trailer from Jeff. Very professional, courteous and adhering to Covid-19 protocols. Everyone wore mask and they have a table set up outside so everything was done outside. Very important to me as my wife has multiple auto-immune diseases.

Horrible customer service. This was the third time I have tried to purchase a item from this company. Few months ago was a dump trailer I was going to pay cash for they would not call me about about when I could pick the trailer up. Recently I wanted to buy a poly caster salter also was going to pay cash for, I called and asked if I could pick it up they said they would call me back and let me know. I never received any call back and so I called again, no one there can find a salesperson and you leave a phone number and still no call back. So I went to a more reliable dealer yes I paid a little bit more but the service from my local dealer is WAY better and I took it home that same day!

An amazing place were the employees go above and beyond to help you. I got there at 11:15 on a Saturday and they close at noon on Saturdays. I found just the trailer to suit my needs but wasnt watching the time as I checked it all over and took my own measurements. When I decided to buy it, the salesman looked at his watch, it was 5 of noon. Even so, the woman that does the registrations and gets you the plates said it was ok, I didnt have to come back Monday, she would do all the paperwork for me right then and there. By the time she finished it was after 12:30, yet not ONE grumble or complaint, quiet the contrary, her and the salesman seemed very happy to have helped me with the sale. Now I dont know about you, but when its quitting time, you best not get in my way of getting to my truck! Great job you did and I thank you. My tractor fits great with extra room for another implement as I wanted. Thank you. I am not friends with anyone in this business and was not compensated for this review in any way.

Everything was good to the end of the day when they said there’s 3% charge going on a credit card, then asked if I wanted to debit and I said yes then it asked for my pin and I refuse to give them my pin, I said where is the machine that we sign he says it’s in the office,This information should be more than a 3 x 5 card on the window it’s a matter of principle not 3%

Always a good experience. Quickly helped after walking in. Price on my particular item was far less than other places I have visited. Shopping around was not a good idea. Next time I wont. Been doing business here for 20+ years for a reason. Its painless.

Most of my experiences here have been very positive, with some minor disappointments every so often. I have bought several trailers and plows from them for my own business as well as companies I work for and that always goes well. Theyre seemingly a just tad more expensive then some other places, but are close by and usually have what I wanted in stock. Having them build a truck for you.....be patient! That usually seems to run into delays. They do nice work but it seems to take longer than estimated. That being said, the sales guys are good to deal with and Bill in the parts department is fantastic! If management is reading this, the guy should get a raise! He is always helpful and resourceful in finding whatever I need.

Great staff, great prices, dog friendly. They gave my dog a biscuit while waiting for my truck to be wired up for my new trailer! Every person that works here went out of their way to service every need & question I had from start to finish. Ask for Kasey...shes a great hard working saleswoman. She was going nonstop to service customers the whole time I was there. And the guy at the parts desk was knowledgeable and friendly steered me in the right direction for adapters. The blonde at the recieving desk was SUPER nice and friendly too. Quality equipment! Thanks!

Wouldnt recommend this place. I bought a $10,000 Duramag body. Within one year the paint was coming off everywhere. Very poor job and no resolution from the company.

Bought a big tex trailer here and the experience was great, as was the price. Couple hundred dollars less than the dealers I called in CT. No bullsh!t or extra charges--I showed up and they had me on my way (with plates!) in a short amount of time. Only disappointment was the T shirts were supposedly locked in a managers office who had gone home already!

Have dealt with Hudson River Truck for plows, dump bodies, service bodies, tarps, etc. over the last 15 years or so. Only one small issue ever. Overall a solid reputable company to deal with.

Bill in parts was extremely helpful from start to finish. Located me axels and had them in 8 days when other shops said would take 6 weeks to get.

For anything plow related use Central Parts Warehouse, fisher 5794K-1 Heavy Duty 4 Post Solenoid HRTT $40, CPW, $14 OEM vs OEM. Just one example of many, oh and when you need the relay, CPW knows what you need, HRRT spends 30 min trying to find someone who knows something to get you the right part. I just buy online now keep the parts in stock for me... saves me tons of money AND I always have the part day or night. Oh and the best part, CPW might send you a #plowlife sticker, HRTT slaps a huge HRTT sticker on your plow, on the plows lift frame. Go spend $5000 on a plow and to have HRTT put a sticker almost the same size as the manufacturers logo? GET OUT OF HERE.
