Had everything I was looking for. Absolutely love the small town feel when you walk inside, the employees are very down to earth also.

This is a 137-year-old hardware store, in the original building. Although they have grown beyond the building. They have just about everything you could want in a hardware store, extensive selections of bolt screws hangers connectors whatever. Plumbing supplies paint supplies electric supplies. The staff will help you find whatever it is you need.

My husband and I found everything we needed for our projects. The owner really knows his stuff. The staff is helpful too.

Old fashioned service with todays products. Ever walk into a big box store and try to find someone to help you but there are no store personnel in sight? When you do find one they may or may not have the knowledge base to help. That never happens at Davies. The staff are experts and offer friendly, prompt service. I have been using Davies for about 20 years now. I find good quality products at a fair price........but most important they usually have what I need.

Davies hardware is far from your Home Depot/ Lowes big box stores. Davies is an old fashioned hardware store with pretty much everything from soup to nuts. Theres none of pointing you to an aisle, they take you right to what your looking for! That kind of service ranks high in my book. If by chance they dont have what you need they will try their level best to order the item for you.

Not bad for a local small hardware store, however their supplies are limited.

They have plenty of helpful staff and are very well stocked. You never wander the aisles... someone always offers help. And if you have a Master lock whose combination is lost, they can get it for you!

Spectacular classic hardware store of your dreams! Don’t be fooled by the smallish appearance of the store—it’s much larger than it seems, and they somehow have EVERYTHING you ever need. Their stockists are wizards! And every person who works there can help you with every question you have. Prices are entirely reasonable too.

Great hardware store used to go with my grandfather who was friends with the owner when I was younger. I absolutely love the vintage hardware store feel and alloways have. Lots of history inside the place.

This place is a rare gem, independently owned and has everything you need and the dangerous part is they also have the things you never knew you needed, plus the staff is very helpful, hope to always see this place open.

Davies Hardware is the last of the old school hardware stores. They have all the impossible to find hardware everyone else seems tothink we dont need anymore. Went there recently to try to find a pair of very odd folding table hinges. No one else had ever seen them before. Davies had them in stock. Again they saved my butt. Go visit them. We need them to be alive and well.

I can’t say enough about Davies Hardware. I’m a reasonably handy woman with a 100 year old house but I don’t always know exactly what I need to fix issues. As soon as I walk in, someone usually asks if I need any help. I then show them a broken part or explain my issue and in no time they have a solution for me. They fit so much in a small space and I appreciate being able to buy just 1 or 2 of something. What I appreciate the most, as a woman, is being treated with respect. I never get the “You’re gonna do this?” attitude that I’ve gotten other places. Everyone should go to Davies.

Over the last 25 years every time I have ever walked in looking for something Davies Hardware had it and had it at a very reasonable price the staff and management are extremely helpful and very friendly. Davies is everything you could expect in an old fashioned hardware store. It has old creaky hardwood floors Wich I live about the place.
