My experience with Adams Power Equipment was definitely a 5 star from start til finish. Coming from a new-ish homeowner, my knowledge of power equipment is limited. The salesman (Mark) had an answer for every and any question I had. He did not come off as pushy or uninterested, it all just felt really honest. I purchased a brand new S240 lawn tractor, and it was delivered a week later with no issues.The delivery man walked me through all the ins & outs of the machine and made sure that everything was functioning properly right then and there. I definitely recommend them!

We bought several power tool items from Adams in the last few years. They are great when they sell you the items but once it is delivered their customer service is much to be desired. We bought a John Deere tractor last year and the gas tank didnt work. We made several calls and finally they decided to order parts for it almost a year later. We had to pay to get the tractor picked up and delivered even though it is under warranty. Bad customer service.

We bought a sub compact John Deere tractor with the loader and york rake attachments. We absolutely love it! We operate a small horse boarding facility. I do not write a lot of reviews but I have to say I am beyond impressed with Adams Power Equipment. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I brought in my chain saw twice now and these guys resolved my issues at no charge. I use them for all my JD supplies and recommend them to friends whenever I can.

I went there today to see if I can get a drive cable for my lawn mower which had broke and the person behind the counter went above and beyond they did not carry it but he turned me on to a place that did and I had ordered it and it would take a day or so to get there he didnt have to do that but he did that is good customer service and and mainly good customer service that will bring a person like me back to that store thank you Im sorry I didnt catch your name was I would have added it to my post

Ordered a John Deere riding mower. It came a couple days earlier and we scheduled delivery. The driver showed up, unloaded the mower, and gave me a detailed run-through of all of the features and controls.Very professional, great service!

Try to buy a part for my old snow blower after receiving false information from the rep at the store it seem like he want me to buy a new one rather then helping me fix the one I had i try to buy locally but I wasted my time and still just ended up ordering the part on line

I’ve been using Adams Power Equipment for at least a decade now and I’ve always been pleased with their customer service. Same service manager for as long as I can remember and it’s for good reason too. He’s an honest and fair guy, I’ve never once left that place feeling cheated. They always make good on their word. I’ve brought equipment back because I wasn’t 100% satisfied and Mike has gone above and beyond to keep me a repeat customer!

Great customer service

While our initial encounter with Adams Power Equipment was NOT positive, I am rating them 4 stars - read on. My Father has performed servicing of his John Deere 210 tractor himself for 42 years. Knowing his primary and secondary belts were needing replacement, and now being nearly 90 years old, we entrusted this and other annual service items into Adams care - the only time he had ever let anyone else work on his tractor. Well, things did not go as planned or initially committed, and we were VERY DISAPPOINTED. However, as I had seen Mr. Labrie reach out to others who had posted less than positive experiences with Adams, I called him FIRST vs writing a poor review. He was very apologetic and offered to do anything to make it right. Dads tractor shortly broke down after it had been returned (different issue) and he called Mr. Labrie for repair. Mr. Labrie not only made good on his offer and promise to make it right, but WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND, even fixing some other items at no charge. Dads 210 is now running GREAT. I believe this speaks well of this company, as missteps can happen in any line of servicing. However, how a Company responds when this occurs truly shows their commitment to their clients and THEIR satisfaction. Because of these actions, Adams has regained our trust and confidence which led us to choose them in the first place. Thank you very much Mr. Labrie!

Grate people in this place ! They had all the info I needed to get the right tractor for me and what I use it for. They didn’t try to up-sale me, just give me the best info and let me make the decision. Karl and his team are the best around buy with confidence!

If l could rate negative stars I would. I walked in to spend some cash. At least 2000. Looking to purchase weed cutters, trimmers, leaf blower, pruner, saw, etc. Was greeted by a older rep. Explained to rep what I needed, looking for. Instead of putting stuff together for pricing. He just stands there looking at me from head to toe. Which btw my son noticed. He seemed not interested to help at all. Looking passed that I explained I went to another shop originally which was closed today so I decided to try his shop out since I need it asap he showed me a saw only and then basically told me to go buy somewhere else. Racism at its best. Think about it buddy with out us doing this landscaping job. You would not be in business to sell us this stuff. Poor customer service. Will spread the word about this business and how they treat people to all my fellow landscapers.

Had a problem with my Stihl trimmer Adams leading competitor said he couldn’t do anything just looking at the parts he needed the hole trimmer and that I should drop it off so he could fix it. Adams employee looked at the same parts and in ten minutes sold me a replacement part trimmer works great again

My kids and I surprised my husband with a Z355R, for his Birthday, Matt was great in assisting in making choices and with planning the surprise! My husband loved the surprise and loves the Z355R ! Thanks again Matt !

I purchased my John Deere tractor from Adams about 2 months ago. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable; there was no pressure from the sales either. Adams delivered my tractor to my home as well, and went over the tractor at delivery. Couldnt be happier.

My local dealer in Western CT doesnt seem too interested in working with residential customers and would rather cater to their commercial business. A friend told me to call Adams Power and I spoke with Karl Labrie. Karl was up front about the whole process of buying a new tractor and walked me through every step along the way. He was very patient with all of my questions and concerns. Karl also meets any issues with complete honesty instead of dancing around the problem. Karl has earned my business for life.

A very good place for lawn mowers and related accessories

It all of my dealings with Adams Power Equipment they have always demonstrated the highest level of integrity and professionalism. They have a systematic method of processing each sale so that the customer feels appreciated, respected, and is completely informed at the completion of the sale.

I called about a 2 in 1 chain file. Was told they had every size in stock. Upon arrival, they had zero sizes in stock and mysteriously no one could remember speaking to me on the phone 57 minutes prior. At least be man enough to admit you made a mistake. Terrible customer service!!!!

I bought my john deere x758 from adams about 2 years ago. But how ever when It comes to servicing the tractor I was told, you have to drop it off and they will get to it when they get to it. You cant even make an appointment how stupid is that so it sits outside for 2 weeks they told me. I just cant believe how they do business they will sell you the tractor but have no time for the service. I will be going to another john deere dealer I have never heard of not making an appointment.

Adams Power Equipment saved me a lot of money on a Husqvarna MZ61. But more importantly its saving me time cutting my lawn. 50 hours this season compared to 100 that I was going to be mowing. Time is priceless...The honest and knowledgeable Salesman Mark Mayo steered me in the right direction and got me the best deal possible. It was the Cheapest price that I saw even on the internet. I was originally looking at a sub compact tractor and after I explained what it was that I was looking to do with the mower. Mark the salesman made me consider the MZ61. The honesty and great customer service is something you will not find in the big box stores if youre buying a piece of equipment. Go to Adams. Save money and time.
