Honest, reliable auto repairs
Worked.on my truck very quickly and did good work. Didnt overcharge for what they did. Explained the work and why it was done.
We were on vacation in Clark two years in a row and had vehicle issues both times. The owner at Red Iron Repair was what we in the South would call a real gentleman who far exceeded our expectations! Rather than treating us as outsiders, he treated us almost as if we were family, did a quick and outstanding job for my wife and me, and I would highly recommend him to anyone! I was in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War, so you know Ive had some life experience, and no vehicle repair place has ever impressed me as much as Red Iron Repair in Powell, Wyoming! Best shop in 100 miles
Jim is always done quickly and correctly. He really knows how to find and fix whatever your vehicle needs.
Good folks, I have had several repairs at this shop. top notch!!I cant say enough positive about them.
My girlfriend brought her truck there to replace a fuel pump. A few days later the new pump went bad. They replaced it again and charged her again. When she got home she received a phone call saying that Chadley forgot to connect the filler hose to the fuel tank so bring it back Monday. The second new fuel pump was also spraying fuel all underneath the bed of the truck. She noticed her license plate was gone so she went back to ask Chadley about it. He told her he was too busy working on his own truck to look for a license plate which he ripped off as he winched her truck onto a trailer to take to Fremont Motors because he couldnt figure out what was wrong. He also told her that he owned his own repair business for 10 years and he needs to replace the front end of his own truck every month because of all the power it makes. So on Monday her truck gets towed in again. The owner was there and connected the fuel lines and charged her again. He replaced her license plates. I connected the filler hose. Last week I was replacing the spark plugs and found the cap to the fuel rail laying on the radiator. Another little reminder that Red Iron was under the hood.Update: now the fuel gauge stopped working. More Red Iron reminders. The truck will definitely go somewhere else. Red Iron has made well over $1000 in labor for a fuel pump. Every time they screw up it costs the customer more money. What a way to make money. Id rather pay up for quality work.
Kind people who stand behind their work
Decent mechanic but is has very little knowledge towards all class 8 trucks never actually fixed my problem or even made clear what my problem was, overall terrible.
