Best toy store in town! This is my go to whenever I need a gift because you can find unique gifts that you can’t find anywhere else. The staff is so friendly and helpful and they wrap your gift so it looks adorable! If you haven’t been... you should!!

This is my 6 year old sons go-to for Brio. They have a good rotating stock, always something new for him to buy with his birthday, toothfairy and chore money.

Love this store!! They are always willing to help you find the perfect gift for any age and offer free wrapping. Their prices are competitive with online shopping and they are Local. My daughter loves this store because they have the newest toys, most of which the box stores dont carry.

Ordered a puzzle for curbside after business hours, it was ready the next morning. The puzzle is super high quality with well-cut firm pieces. We are going back soon for some more puzzles!

The Learning Tree is a treasure to the Kansas City community. With six nieces and nephews, but no kids of my own, I often walk in, tell them how old the kids are and they take me straight to one gift - thats it; that easy. When I give the gift, it never disappoints. Quality items, great service - happy they are in my neighborhood.

Its been a go-to place for gift cards and presents for my daughters friends, puzzles and games during the pandemic days, baby gifts and more. I have recommended the store to numerous folks, all of whom rave about the service, gift wrapping and selection of toys, crafts, books, puzzles, games, building sets, dolls, pretend and play items and more. The Learning Tree staff is knowledgeable and helpful in finding just the right, quality thing. They have helped me send packages around the country for children, and “adult children” with a hit every single time! They are my go-to, and always will be.

Good local toy store with unique options. However, I was told, Im waiting on a smile, while trying to make a return at the cashier desk. She did this with a non-joking smirk. I did not appreciate the cashier asking for a smile or commenting on my general appearance.

I bought the cutest gifts for my nephews 6th birthday here. It was so much fun to go in and have other customers boast about their children loving the toys. I will be coming back and getting more gifts and toys for my nieces and nephews for a long time! Thank you for being such a great local shop!

Went in looking for a present for my niece but the person who finally helped me was a bit condescending when I told them I was looking for something from a PBS show. Ended up getting what I was looking for on Amazon. Tried to shop local but online I dont have to deal with attitude.

A single floor of really great stuff, from educational to toys, that’s easily as welcoming and well-stocked at The Toy Store in Lawrence, KS...but quieter and more chill.
