We had a wonderful visit at St. Michael Hotel. The location is fantastic. Right on Whiskey Row. We could walk to shops, restaurants and events. Free parking too! Enjoyed the historical vibe of the hotel. Our room was very comfy and inviting. No coffee in room, but down I the lobby. The staff as extremely helpful and personable. Looking forward when their Bistro opens. Check it out!!

Very nice old fashioned hotel. Friendly people. Comfy beds. Very clean. The restaurant is being remodeled but food and drink can be ordered by door dash or just a hop skip or jump to tons of local restaurants, coffee houses, bars etc.... lots to do in the town and the hotel is located directly across tge street from the beautiful courthouse Park.

Historic early 20th century hotel. Great location on Whiskey Row so you are right at the center of all the shopping, dining, and festivities.Quaint and historic with lots of character and a wonderfully affable staff. Having said that, this isnt some indistinguishable chain big box hotel. That means, you may have to wait a second for the cool old school elevator OR if you take the stairs like I do, youll note the carpet isnt some nouveau designer palette. Its old school. Thats the charm, the allure, part of the the reason you arent staying at Holiday Out, Worst Western, or Motel 4.Oh, yeah, and did I mention the location??? Love this place!

Amazing, beautiful, well preserved, clean hotel downtown Prescott! Loved my stay from start to finish. My room was large with a comfortable queen bed and really comfy pillows. A desk with chair, nightstands, lamps, dresser with TV, cable, wifi, living room chair, large walk in closet, lots of large mirrors and beautiful decor. AC window unit worked great and the ceiling fan was a bonus. My bathroom was large with excellent plumbing for the age of the building. Staff are very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to work with-they gave me an interior room to help alleviate noise concerns that I expressed prior to check in. I really loved my room and would almost live in it if it had a kitchen! Great location. Walking to everything is right there, restaurants, bars, shops, coffee, bakeries, etc. Parking is on the street or in the city garage around the corner (Free). I was concerned about safety parking in the garage overnight, but I didnt have any issues during my stay. The elevator is the type with a door you pull open and then slide the gate across, you have to remember to open it when it stops or youll just stay there inside waiting🤣 or it will go back to the 1st floor with you still on.... theres also a nice staircase if youd prefer not waiting for the elevator. Highly recommend this hotel for your Prescott stay!

Its cute and though this is an adorable place to stay if your into historical buildings and your not bringing things that might be a little inconvenient such as a stroller..because it is a historical building the elevator is somewhat difficult unless you have assistants. Their are multiple stairs that if you have small children you may want to hang onto them. Also, the rooms are small and have small ac units that keep it from sweltering with the Arizona heat. Its not quite the place you want to take your entire family. I believe their is a ramp that i had no idea about until the i checked out but it is narrow and it doesnt say handicap accessible anywhere it does have that convenience as opposed to the stairs that are at the entrance.

This Hotel was built before cars, and the history of Prescott comes alive when you stay here. I loved it! The staff was so friendly & accommodating. The rooms were clean, and although small, well cared for considering the age of the hotel. Location is convenient & parking was not a problem, even on the 4th of July. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!! And the old elevator was awesome!

We got married a couple weeks ago in Skull Valley and wanted to stay on Whiskey Row for that weekend. Major shout out to Regina! I spoke with a couple hotels about accommodating us and our guests and honestly it was Regina’s customer service that made me choose the St Michael. She went above and beyond and even answered all my silly questions that had nothing to do with the hotel stay lol. The hotel is super cool with that amazing staircase and old timey elevator. All of the staff was great with us and our guests. Even after we left they held something special that I left in the room and didn’t realize until a day or two later. They mailed it to me right away. Thank you for being part of our amazing wedding weekend!

The whole hotel has a great feel and look, as well as a fabulous location that is in easy walking distance to shops and food. The only drawback was the shower. Need to stop on your way back from the Grand Canyon past Sedona? Look no further but to Prescott! Locals pronounce it Preskitt. The Hotel St Michael is the landmark hotel in Prescott. The property, built in 1901, shows its age and the room I stayed had its own quirks. However, room was very clean and well maintained with a view into the park..Note that the Bistro St Michael, within the hotel, is currently closed for a major renovation (September 2021).Lacie, the attendant when I checked in, was very good. She took note of a bathroom door problem I noticed for maintenance to look after.Coffee and newspaper are provided in the morning in the lobby along with bottled water to guests free of charge. In the end, this is a highly recommended stop.in a very charming city.

Small room, but cozy. Comfy Bed! Classical Old Hotel charm, with manual-doored elevator, that was charmingly steampunkish. Location was right on the historic Whiskey Row. Window AC, and a ceiling fan. Wouldve traded the ample closet space for a larger bathroom--a bit tight for ogres, but probably just fine for smaller-statured folks.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We booked the first night and when the air-conditioning didn’t work they immediately moved us to a nice cool room. The next day we booked a second night in an upgraded room which was literally double the cost. However they told us we could not check in till 4 PM even though we were already there. That was sort of disappointing because we had already been there and they knew that we upgraded our room, perhaps they could’ve made that a priority since we were already there. Unfortunately we literally had to wait until 4 PM to get to our room, then once we got to our room it wasn’t made up, the sheets and towels are on the floor the bed hadn’t been made there was trash everywhere, again they did immediately resolve the problem and assigned us to another room. Things happen and perhaps they were short staffed, it was just very inconvenient to have to leave the hotel in the morning and come back at 4 o’clock in the afternoon on such a blazing hot day. I think more effort could have been made to get us in much much earlier. But nevertheless we really did enjoy your stay and would very likely go there again. it’s definitely vintage with older amenities, but very charming.

I left a review immediately after my stay but looking again I see now that it was removed. Unprofessional. Im going to leave it again.I stayed at the hotel in 2016 in December. The morning after my family slept in the room I began to tidy the room and take off the bed linens so that the housekeepers would have an easier time. I removed the pillowcase from my pillow (that I had slept all night on) and found a second pillowcase underneath. That, and the pillow were SOAKED in blood. Someone elses blood. The blood had soaked all the way through the pillow and out the other side, and someone (presumably a housekeeper) put a clean pillowcase over it to hide it. I was in total shock. I carried it down to the front desk, they took it from me and didnt say a word of an apology or anything. And because I was far from in my right mind (after having found out I slept on a blood soaked pillow all night) I quietly walked out without pushing the issue further.I should have demanded my money back. That blood soaked pillow haunts me even today.Edit: the owner has responded denying that I ever stayed there. Interesting approach for a business. If you stay at this hotel. Bring a blacklight. Or better yet, go somewhere else.

Ok so its historical, but geeze. You wouldnt know it inside the room. The room is barely big enough for a bed, which is tucked into a corner up against the wall. The beds are comfortable and the linens appear to be clean.But... I have no idea how this place gets so many great reviews. The room immediately smells like an old shoe when you walk in, the bathroom is very worn, the towels were getting thin, and there is thick dust on the ceiling fan. There is only one lock on the door (at least it’s the deadbolt) but it sticks and you really need to press on the door to make it work. The killer is that I paid $178 including taxes to stay here! I just cant get over the little sandwich for $11 so I only gave 3 stars. Had the sandwich been at least the size of a regular slice of bread or been overstuffed with ingredients it would have been 5 stars, but it wasnt. What I got was good, about $5 good but good. My suggestion is to throw the tiny bread and make a real sandwich, youre good at what you do, you just dont do enough of it.
