Scott did great work fast, found a damaged spring mounting rod also which was done before. Good work and showed all he did before he finished.

Our garage door opener went out and the springs in the door did too. We called several places and no one could come out for months or would charge a ridiculous amount to come out. A1 saved the day! Of course we didnt want to hear what needed to be done but Owen was amazing. He fixed our door in three hours. I must say Im loving the wifi and app capability of our new opener. Installer was great but service from A1 was not. Doors didn’t arrive when promised. They were two weeks late. Salesman said I could get installation three days after doors arrived. This turned into two weeks. I was getting two new doors installed and garage door openers. When installer arrived they didn’t have all the parts to install both doors and no trim so they could only install one door. I’m now waiting again for additional parts to arrive so I can get second door opener installed. Not satisfied at all.

Then when Josh was here it was just about dinner time and rather than spend it with his family, he installed my opener. Not only was Josh very personable, he was also very competent and thorough. Technician Owen Edwards was a total professional and it was so refreshing to see someone that actually likes his job. I hadnt intended to replace parts on both garage doors, but Owen was so knowledgeable that I felt comfortable having him take on the whole project. Jesse installed the opener. He told me there was a $25 trip fee which I was not told about when I scheduled the install. He did not put a light bulb in the opener and did not program vehicles or key pad. Not sure in adjusted the force conyrols as he did not show me that it worked ok. Safety issue. I set appointment with A1. They came out to my home, took a hefty deposit cash said it would be a few weeks they were busy and under staffed. Was supposed to show Tuesday never did. Then Thursday the same week never did. I believe they are fraudulent and I am going to report them. When you call seldom does anyone answer if at all. Took my cash and disappeared.

I discovered A1 way of mailer coupons for my broken garage door and adjustment. Jesse, our Tech, called in advance and was extremely professional and explained the various styles I could choose from. Sounds crazy but I LOVE my new garage door opener! Super smooth and quiet and I Jesse helped me upload the garage door app to my phone so I can double check if I left it open or have it open for someone who comes to visit. :) Really amazing service, I highly recommend.

Sometimes we spend money for services and don’t feel we have gotten the value associated with them. This company should be reported to BBB. They sell you a garage door that is higher standards they say, and you end up getting not what you paid for. We did not get what we paid for therefore they were to give us money back, which we have the email of refund but they never put it thru. As of today, its been almost two months and no refund. From the beginning it was bad, cancelled on us twice and we could not get thru to anyone for at least 3 days. They have these customer service people take your call and email to whomever. You can never get thru to talk to anyone its always a customer service person who doesnt know anything!! All these good reviews are FAKE! We will never use these people again and STILL WAITING FOR THE REFUND!!

Jesse and Tuan came out today and did a great job on a tune up and complete rebuild of Torsion System with 10 year Parts Warranty. Our garage door would come off the runner and pins were broken so that was replaced as part of todays visit. I dont think the garage door had been serviced in a while so you could really tell the difference once their work was completed. I was texted upon making the appointment and today again to confirm, while also received a phone call to let me know they were on the way. Very nice guys! Would definitely recommend A1 Garage Door Service and use them again in the future.

Owen from A1 was awesome. Had a noisy garage door that just broke recently and he came and repaired everything. The garage door now silently opens and I can use my cellphone to operate it if I desire.

Brian who scheduled my appointment was very professional and friendly on the phone. They were booked out for a few weeks but he offered to put me on the cancellation list. I received a voicemail two days prior to my appointment that they had a cancellation but by the time I returned the call about 30 minutes later they had already filled it. The technician Owen was very friendly, professional and offered three different repair options from least expensive to most expensive and what each option included.What Brian did not inform me of is that there is a $25.00 show up fee although the flyer I had with coupons stated free estimate. Owen told me that was only if they were doing a garage door estimate. I did not know what was wrong with the garage door but it ended up we needed a new opener.Owen was able to install a new opener and explained the use of new opener and equipment. He also did a safety check on the other components of the door etc…and made recommendations and sent me estimates via email.Now, what I am not happy with, the extra $25.00 charge which I plan on calling the company about. The opener came with one car remote and no keyless entry pad which would have been an additional $100.00 for the keyless pad alone. I decided to shop around for that elsewhere. When shopping around for that, I found it for $40.00. Also, we could have purchased the higher priced opener that he quoted to me at a retail store, which came with two remotes and a keyless entry for significantly less than the lower priced opener that we purchased. The opener we did purchase also came with two remotes and a keyless entry for significantly less than what I paid to A1 elsewhere. What a huge mark-up!I am disappointed with myself for not shopping around for the opener before committing to having the service done then and there but Owen had the equipment on his vehicle and was able to complete the work at that time. All “paperwork” and signatures were done via smartphone and I have not received a copy of my receipt yet with the breakdown of charges for opener and labor. Not what I was expecting from a reputable company. They also have a “military” discount but the coupons they offer, if you have one is a better deal. They do not honor both.

Had problems with garage door closing properly. A1 technician arrived promptly and fixed problem by adjusting sensors. He was friendly and courteous. Would highly recommend A1 for any garage door needs.

Read all the positive reviews and felt optimistic. Got scheduled immediately. Arrival window was 5 hours (1pm to 6pm) Satellite TV and cable companies do better. Got a call at 5:25 saying it would be another 45 minutes. Give me a break. Not how I do business.

And it is easy to see through how the company has trained their reps well to up-sell service. Coming from a corporate background, I can spot a rep following a script. I wasnt paying too much attention when I had them come out and the person on the phone with which I made the appointment was vague when I asked where they were based. Even though the technicians were great, I will make sure that Im using a local company instead of a national company with a few local locations. But, again, the technicians were courteous, professional and knowledgable. I was satisfied with the work. They are just way expensive.

Service person was very competent and did a good job of fixing the problem and explaining the issue.Had followup appointment for installation of a new garage door since the one that was repaired was showing signs of wear and tear and eventual failure. Technician helped me select a new door that had triple insulation and a very solid steel construction plus paint that matched our home nicely. Door had to be special-ordered. Installer arrived at the time scheduled after sending text message and leaving a voice mail. He was very congenial and hard-working, and notably conscientious in his work. He spot-checked his own work carefully, made some readjustments to things I probably wouldnt have even noticed. Spent time showing me how to properly lubricate the door to extend its functional lifespan. Very pleased with all my contacts with A-1 Garage Door Service.

Jesse was very nice and courteous. He was able to fix our door problem right away. He was very knowledgeable. We have had this same problem with our garage door not coming down several times. Jesse was the first technician to tell us that it was a problem with the track not being properly aligned. He was able to fix it and now it works! I also like the fact that I called on a Sunday and someone actually answered the phone. Thought I would get a recording. They were able to schedule us for the next day.

A-1 has previously worked on other garage doors at my residence. This time a very tall RV garage door was misbehaving. Fixing this required extra effort on a tall ladder, being very vulnerable. I called the company to check out some new noises my 25 year old system was making. The attendant scheduled the appointment quickly. The technician showed up on time and reviewed the mechanics of the system with me. Tiger provided a quote with different options for repair and then did the work. The representatives were very friendly. The technician was very knowledgeable and the company provides well equipped vans for their purpose. It is unlikely they show up without a part to do the job on their first visit.

It was a Friday morning, I was on my way to work and I tried to close our garage door and noticed it wasnt going down. Frustrated I went inside and notified my husband, he tried it and we finally noticed the problem. The cable was showing and the door was going down crooked. Not many companies work on Friday, we found A1 Garage on the internet and they were able to schedule us that Friday afternoon. Heres the great side to this story, Ryan, our scheduled technician went above and beyond for us. He changed his schedule around and made us a priority because our garage couldnt go down. He showed up around 9 am or sooner and assessed our garage door. He noticed the drum which the cable was using was too small for our 8 door. The end result of his experience and expertise, he installed larger drums, put in a new cable, replaced our bearings, which were shot, and installed new springs. Our garage door is so better and quieter. I was happy and so grateful for his excellent service. My Friday, the thirteenth turned out to be a lucky day. Thank you so much for all you did for us, we are very appreciative of Ryan.

Quick response and professional. Our garage door became unattached to the garage opener mechanism and we had to open it manually and leave it unlocked. A1 Garage came two days after I called to fix it and they fixed it properly. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that it was a bit pricey for a 15 minute job: $160. I understand a trip charge, parts and labor, but it seemed inflated to be sure.
