Ordered a mini-x and had labor depending on it. Showed up with the thumb not working at all. Whole ordeal burned more than an hour which is irritating but I get that stuff happens. But then they refused to give any discount of any kind for the issue and the time I payed for people to stand around. Not renting from them again.

Rented a boom for a mural painter to paint our building. Boom breaks with painter trapped on it after 20 minutes of use. Prescott Rentals is closed. Painter calls friend to help get him down. I didn’t ask for a refund, just another day once it is operational. Rudely told it was told it was my problem between me and the painter. No trying to figure out a solution to wasted time I have to pay for because their equipment malfunctioned, or attempt to accept responsibility to ensure we had the capability we paid for. Thanks for the $150 gigantic paperweight. I’ll remember to share my experience of this company leaving us hanging in mid air...literally.

Recently rented a Gannon tractor that had tire issues. I needed to air it up every day while in use. They knew of the problem and said it was just fine. It was not.. Also, the battery was dead on Sunday morning when I needed. They said these things happen. Didnt like the attitude I was given nor the excuses. Shouldnt have to deal with any problems from rented equipment....

Rented a brand new Kubota L4700 Backhoe. Being new it was in great shape. The customer service was excellent as was the price. Will be using these guys again. Highly recommend.

I am a heating and cooling contractor and this is the place that I will always read from. The staff is very Nice. Their equipment is immaculate and works very well in appears to be very well maintained. I have yet to be on a job site using their equipment and having a break. Whenever Ive reserved the equipment it is ready to go and they always help me loaded on my trailer there a wonderful local shop that needs to be supported use them once and youll see what Im talking about keep up the great work guys

Great bunch of guys, down to earth who really know their stuff about tools. No matter what I throw at them, no matter how broken it is they can get it back to running order like new. Plus they also sell a wide range of brand new equipment and tools at prices that are very competitive..... I highly recommend this business which keeps businesses in business.

Loved dealing with these people at first, but when I came to closing out my ticket they were super dishonest and I was trying to be reasonable and they did not want to listen we do a ton of business in the Prescott area. Would love to use a local company just Customer Service just isn’t there, it’s just sad.

Got what I needed. But political discussions in the business is not necessary.

This place is our go-to favorite for any kind of equipment needed for our work at MOONLITE MAINTENANCE. Been renting power tools, cherry pickers, scissor lifts, etc and we have not been dissapointed. Prices are lower than the big box stores and they deliver to the job site.

Do not use!!! Untrustworthy! Charged for defective/damaged eqipment. Bald damaged tires, defective hose and hydraulic ram. Recommend RDO or Sunstate.

These people are really dishonest. I rented a backhoe. They sent out a backhoe in which the engine was missing so bad and the thing had no power. I hired a professional to run the backhoe. My operator worked 3 hours at the most and advised me to call Prescott Rental and have them pick up the worthless machine. We had lunch and I worked with the operator for a while and called Prescott Rental right after lunch. I called them for pick up as soon as I could. They finally picked up the backhoe. They charged me $294 for a piece of junk equipment and said they charged me the minimum for a piece of junk. I would not recommend this company for anything. Very poor customer service and they send out faulty equipment. So...it cost me $294 plus $75 of operator time for a piece of junk equipment and cost me loss of time in getting the project done.

While this started out as a promising transaction, it went south quickly. The lady working the desk in the office was nice and I felt that the rental price was very fair. I was given the equipment that had old, worn tires. Of course on the way home we got a flat tire. I called the office asking them to leave a spare tire out (as they were about to close for the day) and I would come retrieve it and change the tire. I was told, We dont know what size tire it takes, we probably dont have a spare, and the contract says you are responsible for tires. Spent half the day chasing down a tire and changing it. When I finally used the equipment it was not in good condition and the bucket with cracked fiberglass was kept in place by a 10 penny nail. So if you want to rent some unsafe equipment and place Russian roulette with their tires this is a great place to rent from. Horrible customer service as soon as I called about the flat tire.

Owner Richard Sachs is dishonest. Richard screwed us over in so many ways, had to go to court. His $$$ got a lawyer that I could not afford. I recommend doing business with ANYBODY BUT..... SACHS when you need any equipment.

We rented a trailer to move my grandma from California, the owner, Richard, was well aware how far we would be traveling, and promised us that he had the tires checked, etc. We get 4 hours out and notice the tire was shredding. Called the worker, Chuck or Charles (believe was his name), told him the situation and asked him what we needed to do. He said to find a tire shop and replace it. Once we found the nearest shop,we called the rental place back and informed it was the only one they had and it would be so much and they told us they would take care of it and reimburse us when we got back, giving us the go ahead. TRUST ING their word, we take an hour out of our trip to get the tire changed before having a BLOWOUT,. I return the trailer, to find Richard is not in and so I gave my number to the guy (chuck or charles?) To call me when Richard is in.... never happened... so the next day I went in to get the money for the tire. Richard tells me he will pay for half the tire, which than I tell him what we were told. Rudely Richard shakes his head and tells me they are no responsible for anything, that it made it all the way to California. Not giving a care in his mind. Than to proceed very rudely pointing to the paper which says they are not responsible for tire damage, AFTER the fact we were told it would be taken care of! I step out to make a phone call, come back in and Richard decides to no longer pay for half the tire but ONLY reimburse me for the 2 days I had it, which was LESS than half the tire. BAD BUSINESS. Will never go to them again. Steer clean, spend the extra bucks and get a Uhaul.
