Had a wonderful experience with this shop. I had my vehicle sent here after getting an astronomically high quote from the local Volkswagen dealership. Bob was prompt and precise with his estimates even going so far as to recommend against some of the things that VW said were needed. All of the work needed on my vehicle was done in a much more timely fashion than I would have ever anticipated. For all of my local friends this shop will certainly be on my recommendation list.

On Valentines weekend 2021, despite having reduced staff they were able to get us in to put snow tires on our cars promptly.This is a very well run business. They hear and take care of our concerns. I went in for a severely flattened tire. KPS Princeton Garage not only found the rather specialized tire, mounted it with balancing, etc. and road tested, they also alerted me to another problem. They suggested that I should go to my dealer with this problem, since it was likely to be covered under warranty. I did, and it was! So they saved me a lot of money by not doing the work themselves. Been going to KPS for over 5 years and I really trust the mechanics here. They do a great job from repairs and oil changes to interior detailing. Not to mention fantastic customer service. I moved about half hour away but still make the trip to KPS because I know I can trust them.

Excellent garage and top notch technicians/mechanics. I went in for new tires and a 2.5 Teraflex Suspension Lift. I was able to talk it all out with Bob over email and he was very responsive. Bob came up with a plan and timing around the install. Bob was accommodating and knowledgeable in sharing some suggestions too in terms of parts. The shop is very clean and well managed and the costumer service on point. I will be returning soon to add an front end adjustable track bar to add on and further improve the suspension of my 2016 Jeep Wrangler JKU...

They replaced the boot joint in my VW in half of the price than the quotation given by the dealership.Did a great job with the repair. Mark was very nice and friendly.

Great dependable service as always.I like that they check tire tread and brake pad use at everyoil change and take the car for a ride before working on it toget an impression on how it is performing.

They charged my mother-in-law $430 for a “full service” oil change and break fluid flush. Either they took advantage of an old lady or their pricing is insane. Either way, avoid them like the plague.

I strongly recommend that you take your car for service @ KPS. I rolled a 1948 Willys Jeepster - thats right, a 70 year old car - into the garage with serious engine problems. Not only were the folks at KPS able to diagnose the intake/exhaust manifold issue, they were patient with me for several days while I found various replacement parts and instantaneous with the repair once the right parts arrived. Steve, our mechanic, also went the extra mile tweaking several other components to make the car run smoother and faster. Im guessing our Jeepster hasnt run this well for 25 years. My Volvo 940 suddenly stopped when making a turn at an intersection. Had it towed to KPS Princeton Garage. They found that the problem was a defective ignition coil. They replaced the ignition coil. They did a good job and at a reasonable price. Would recommend them.

Multiple friends had told us about KPS Princeton Garage for years, but it wasnt until last year that I finally brought my car for servicing. Now Im preaching the gospel as well. In fact, the newest driver in our home just bought a used car from Bob largely b/c the previous owner had it serviced here. Thus far, we couldnt be happier with the purchase.

Paid $150 for an oil change and a “diagnostic” that missed something no mechanic worth their salt would have missed, which ended up costing me $5000 at a reputable mechanic two months later. At least if you set a pile of money on fire, it would keep you warm for a little while. Avoid this one.

Other auto service providers said I needed new rims and new tires to fix the problem of slow air leaks in my two front tires -- a proposal that insisted my best move was to purchase rims and tires all around.I decided to get one last opinion from the highly recommended KPS Princeton Garage -- and Im so glad I did. The owner spoke to me about the problem, listened carefully, and pulled my car inside to have one of his crew evaluate the situation. It was immediately decided that the loss of air in the two tires was due to some corrosion on the rims. The rims were gently sanded and the tires reseated with some bead seal. I havent had a problem since and my tires have plenty of wear left in them. Problem solved for under $100 instead of the $1,500+ solution proposed by the other garages.I will definitely return to this garage when I need a new set of tires. Their knowledge of tires is extensive and recommendations are given according to quality, not metely brand name. And if I reach a point where road chemicals damage my rims to the point they cant be fixed, I will order them through this direct, honest, attentive place of business.

I have been going to KPS for over 20 years and have never had poor service. Whether it was tire replacement or wheel alignment or struts/suspension or just an oil change, through several different makes and models of cars (foreign and domestic), the service was consistent, transparent and fairly priced. On several occasions when I wanted to defer service to take a trip, Bob told me flat out that the car was unsafe to drive. I listened, canceled the trip and have never regretted those decisions. Safety is paramount and I have always felt my automobile was well cared for at KPS. Plus the detailing department does a great job on my car once a year!

Prompt and reliable service. KPS garage has provided great service for my car for 8 years. Ive never been overcharged, they only do the work that is necessary, but I really appreciate that they also give me a heads up when there is preventative maintenance I can have done that will save me huge headaches and big bills down the road. UPdate for 10/2020: I continue to go to KPS and they havent let me down. My car is now 15 years old with 150K+ miles, runs great --KPS owner and mechanics know their stuff and provide great service.

Extremely satisfied with my experience with this shop.I purchased a single tire from Tire Rack and had it shipped to this location. One day before the tire arrived at the shop I received an email from Bob asking what would be the best time to schedule the tire mounting. I replied letting Bob know I would drop my rim off in the morning and head to work after.Shops hours start from 8AM however the garage doors opened before that along with the office door allowing me to drop my Wheel off and make it to work on time.According to UPS tracking tire arrived after 1PM. When I arrived to the shop after work the new tire was mounted on the Rim and the gentleman behind the desk in the office had a technician put the wheel on the car for me within minutes. The technician was kind enough to check and adjust the tire pressure on the remaining 3 tires he wasnt responsible for.Overall Great Service, Nice people and will do business with them in the future. Highly Recommend.

I dont know alot about cars, but I know when someone is trying to pull the wool over my eyes or if theyre being honest and sincere, and these guys are the real deal. Every single person I have spoken with at KPS has treated me with the utmost respect and integrity. They are all very friendly, easygoing and excellent communicators. Bob goes out of his way to explain whats going on with your car and give you honest advice about next steps. Oh and their shuttle service is fantastic and makes it much easier to bring the car in without too much hassle. I am a long time customer of KPS. On the spur of the moment, I pulled in one morning at the stroke of 8 AM. I asked Bob to fix a couple of things and give the car a road test and let me know of anything else that I needed or was coming due. His driver gave me a ride to work. By noon I had gotten a call telling me about the must do and should do items. I authorized the work, and by 4 PM the driver was back at my place of business to pick me up so that I could get my car. A great experience from start to finish! Hats off to Bob, Mark, and the technicians!

We just moved to Princeton. Stumbled on KPS after hitting a pot hole. WOW!!! super nice folks. Drove us home. Replaced two tires and did a wheel alignment. Price was fair and they even washed our car. We will return to KPS. Thanks for helping us out.

Very bad I wish I could give then 0 star. I left my car for two days then they told me they find the problem now they have to order a parts but that is not easy to find so they need 14 days so I took my car and they are going to call me with in 14 days. And they changed my $ 89 for find out the problem. Up to that point is ok but I don’t get any call from them so I call them after 20 days now they told me sorry we don’t know what is wrong on that car we have to find out what is the problem on it. Ooooo I said so then on that time why I pay $89? No answer!!!!!! Now I have a drought they really fixed the car or they took the car leave it like that and change $89 with tax????? PaPart 2 reply, I think you forgot what u told me I am not refusing to pay the labor. You told me that you are not sure what is wrong about it so you need to do some diagnostic first then you can able to tell me what’s wrong in my car but my question is dead why I pay you $89 first to check my car and you didn’t told me about that you found out the parts you don’t told me anything about parts. ?????

Ok work, expensive, but asked to pay in cash instead of credit card so that I can save some money for reason that credit card companies charge a fee to the business with the hope I can get the savings, but noooo...I get the response I report my taxes I sure hope so, I was only suggesting not to pay with a card to save on that fee and of course I will pay the tax on the total work. Oh well... moving on.Again, Im referring to credit card processing fee, taxes on total work will be paid; not so bright, how is this place ACE certified, attention to detail is not the highlight of this establishment...

The service and the people at KPS are superb. I have gone there for several years. Had a little interruption after moving. Because of service my car received at one place and how a manager in another place reacted about what exactly needed to be done and what the cost would be, caused me to change my mind about going there. Drove for an hour and went back to Bob’s. I felt much better, because I trust him and am told what needs to be done and know what something will cost. I had gone to have the car checked and make an appointment. But was very surprised that the car was repaired at that time and I didn’t have to drive an hour again to have that problem taken care of.

My car broke on the highway in Princeton. Got it fixed in less than 24 hours at Princeton Garage for a reasonable price. Good service!

Scheduled installation of winter tires at 9 am. Unfortunately got stuck in traffic and showed up 25 minutes late. They were still nice enough to take me in AND they did a really great job, really fast. Price was very reasonable, and I was on my way by 10:25 am. This was my second visit here - on my previous trip they mounted a front license plate bracket for me - and they refused to charge for it.Its really hard nowadays to get this kind of service anywhere. Theyve got a new customer for life in me. Plus - Im going to make it a point to get friends and people at work to use them.

Guys did an excellent job, on-time and with care for my car.

I dropped off my BMW 5 in KPS garage for two days to let them run a test on a suspected battery draw and scan for check engine light. They did scan test 3 times and still had no clues what went wrong. Somehow the car was back to norm after they cleared all codes which were retrieved from the very first test scan. Bob charged for all 3 tests and throw me a bill well over $340, which is $100 more than the quote I got from Princeton BMW dealership. When I questioned, Bob responded as saying you own a BMW, you should pay more for service. Shortly after that, I took the car to trusted BMW mechanics for a scan again, it was diagnosed as cylinder #6 misfire. KPS failed to get the job done and charged customer more than dealerships estimates. Those money and my time were wasted.
