They were able to send Jason in on the same day as the appointment was made! The company that my home insurance recommended has terrible reviews and couldnt send someone over until after the coming weekend. Theres a hefty price out-of-pocket, but its mostly worth their professionalism and attention to detail. He even came in our house wearing a face mask and shoe covers.
Matt came to replace my water heater - he installed the heater, removed the old one, answered all of my questions, offered advice to keep the thing in good shape, everything. He was masked and following all protocols the whole time he was here and he was like, the NICEST guy I’ve ever had working in my house.
Andrew installed my hot water heater outstanding I highly recommend very clean professioal great job
I needed my hot water heater replaced and Tindall and Ranson sent Andrew out to do the work. He was OUTSTANDING! He was on time, professional, courteous and followed COVID-19 protocols to the letter. He wore covers on his shoes and put down drop cloths on the floors. He explained the price up front and explained everything that needed to be done in detail.I highly recommend this company and especially Andrew the Service Technician. Thank you so much for making this experience extremely painless!
The technician, Dan, was on time, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, neat, and skillful. He made recommendations based on need and explained everything in detail. He was patient and friendly. What more could I ask for? Also, Sue from the company called me first thing in the AM as soon as they received the order for my repair. She was very helpful and nice. Would definitely call the company again, without hesitation.Michael M. Gloucester Twnshp, NJ
We just had a new gas water heater installed.Dan was willing to do what was best for us.He did absolutely phenomenal job!We are very impressed with the professionalism, exhibited by him and his great personality! We would highly recommend Tindall & Ranson with their high standard of quality!Lora and Michael S.Princeton, NJ
Tindall Ranson replaced our water heater and we were happy with the job they did. Justin answered all my questions and left the place spotless.
Used to be my go to plumber. Very disappointed when I asked for service on a very simple but important household facility (faucet in kitchen sink). They couldnt see me for two weeks and would not consider fitting me into a cancelled slot. Refused to do this. Would not bring an upgraded faucet, only what was on the truck. Showed little interest in my business. Goodbye.
Dan was an excellent installer. He explained what he had to do and made me feel confident that everything was well done He gave me great advice and suggestions for preventing future problems as well. For an experience that is upsetting he could not have provided better service. I will be requesting him for any future service! He is the best.
We received a PSEG mailer for a new hot water heater. We wanted to be proactive as our water heater was installed 10 years ago. We called their office for a price quote. Brianna was very helpful and professional on the phone. She sent Jay, the technician. He was very informative, professional and timely. He put our mind at ease. The installation was perfect. I would highly recommend this outstanding company. A job well done and much appreciated.Susan and Bob AlexanderPrinceton, NJ
We had Dan come out today to install a new water heater. He did a beautiful job. He takes pride in his work and it shows. He was very polite and professional.
Dan came by right on time and was completely professional the whole way through. Handled all my idiot questions and then some. Thanks again!
Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Our water heater pilot light went out constantly. We had other companies try to fix it 4 different times to replace parts and the pilot light still kept going out. T&R came to the house one time, immediately knew that the problem was the vent pipe being bent and was able to fix it right away. It hasnt gone out since. I am so grateful for their knowledgable staff that was able to fix the problem! Their office staff is also super friendly and always answers the phone or responds right away!
We needed to replace our water heater quickly. Briana Voorhes was the PSEG coordinator and she made the process of installation quick, seamless and efficient. I cannot say enough about her warm, patient, friendly, and professional manner. If I were hiring, she would be my choice for general manager of any company.Andrew Olewinsky, the plumber who installed the hot water heater, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, very experienced, efficient and installed the tank quickly. He made sure to leave a clean work area, as well.I highly recommend them.
Bryana Voorhees was the PSEG coordinator who was immensely helpful in setting us up for a hot water heater replacement. Andrew Olewinsky was the plumber who installed the hot water heater. He was punctual, efficient, timely and performed the installation quickly and very neatly. Thank you.
Had a great experience and the technician named Justin was excellent.
Dan and Tom came out for a water heater replacement. Exceptional quality of work and no nonsense honesty were very much appreciated. Two thumbs up!!
Reliable and honest. We had 2 services calls and happened to be Andrew that served both. During first one he checked warranty and luckily the part was still under warranty. Once part came the furnace was fixed no problem. We also bought maintenance plan then. 2nd service call the heater problem turned out to be more or less a maintenance issue, so he changed the visit into a maintenance visit (as we havent had our heating maintenance done yet). So I didnt have to pay for the trip/diagnostic. Id recommend their service!
Excellent service!!! Andrew was professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend!
On a very hot and humid July day, our central air conditioning unit stopped working. Our high efficiency unit had been installed by Tindall and Ranson (T&R) a few years previous and had worked well up to that point. I called T&R, and a technician appeared within two hours. He soon located a switch with a loose wire, replaced the twenty- year- old switch, and we were good to go. The technician double- checked the operation of the compressor and the thermostat and found all to be in order. We were gratified by the speedy and efficient service. Thank you, T&R!
I usually do not write reviews but Mr. Dan did an outstanding job for my mother Paulette at her estate. Dan showed excellent mannerism and hospitality. He properly cleaned up after himself as well. Thank you for your above and beyond service, Ill make sure to recommend you guys to others.
Andrew was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He was friendly and a pleasure to work with.
Woke up this morning to a split seam on a hot water heater with water all over my basement. Needless to say not how I wanted to start my day! I called Tindall Ranson and was thrilled that they sent their technician Andrew out within two hours. Andrew showed up to our house with a new hot water heater and went to work. I cant believe how quickly it could be done. Andrew was professional and explained all of the work he was going to do and what it would cost. I appreciate the fact that he let us ask a ton of questions and didnt mind my wife and I watching some of his work so we could understand what was being done. It is never fun to spend money on these type of things but I feel about good about my purchase today thanks to Andrew! From call to completion it took only a few hours. I will be calling Tindall Ranson in the near future for some work Andrew recommended we have done eventually. Thanks so much guys! Alex and Nicole Carnivale.
Had a tankless water heater installed. The technician, Dan, worked hard for 2 days! Got it all done, cleaned up meticulously and explained everything to me. I wish all my work experiences were this positive!! Thank you, Dan and T& R!!
Very fair pricing. Charged what they were contracted even though the job was tougher than they anticipated. Bringing them back for another job. They quoted much lower than another plumber.
I have been using Tindall Ranson Plumbing for 30+ years and they continue to do excellent work. I just had a spring maintenance service on my AC units and Dan was very thorough and informative too. I recommend them highly.
We have used Tindall Ranson for both our plumbing and HVAC needs since moving to this area nearly 30 years ago. They consistently provide prompt and professional service whether a small repair is needed or a major replacement. The office staff is also courteous and responsive.
We know Kevin for years. He is a careful and dedicated professional, and personable too. He services our HVAC equipment twice a year and we are always delighted with the high quality of his work. I am delighted that Tindall & Ransom has someone like Kevin in its team.
We recently had our water heater replaced by Kevin Haggerty from Tindall Ransom. Kevin explained everything about the installation to us and completed the job very thoroughly and professionally. His work with pipe fittings, which are very important with a gas water heater, was excellent.
In the midst of this crazy quarantine, we needed to replace our water heater through our PSEG worry free program. Tindall Ranson was assigned the job. They were out the next morning, on time and highly efficient. They explained everything to us beforehand, were very professional and cautious and did a great job! Thanks!!
Andrew came to replace hot water heater. He’s a one man army! He explained what he was doing and took time to answer our questions. I was very comfortable with him, which is important when you’re making an investment in you home. True professional!
Through 2 homes and 20+ years of HVAC service we are extremely happy with Tindall Ranson. They have always been very responsive and their technicians have always done high quality new work and repair.
Our water heater broke and it was leaking . We had to shut the water off at the main valve and had no water at all for sometime. We called Tindall and Ransom, they were able give appointment immediately. In few hours everything was done right. Robbie and Andrew fixed the problem and also provided detail information on new Water heater. They both are very professional and experienced.
This company cannot be trusted. I highly recommend not using them. My 86 yr. old mother (who lost her husband less than a year ago) called up because she suspected the water line serving the ice machine in the refrigerator was leaking. After Kevin, the plumber? investigated the dishwasher, he looked at the refrigerator and came up with the same diagnosis. After trying to splice the plastic line (I kid you not), he cuts off the line and removes the copper line hooked up to the water and tells my mother you cant use copper anymore. To substantiate his added value, he tells my mother if you want ice you will need to place trays in the freezer. This may represent the breadth of their skills. Wait till you see what happens next...My mother then asks Kevin to look at the single handle kitchen faucet which was leaking at the handle when the water is turned all of the way up. He takes off the handle claims he installed a plastic washer and then proceeds to put as much pressure as possible on the faucet to secure it after banging it several times over. Why use an allen key? How do you think this ends? My mother uses the faucet that evening and water is pouring all over the countertop. After she complains to Tony the Salesman the next day, he says I can get you a faucet for $400. My mother says no thanks and goes to Home Depot and buys one for less than $40. This is the type of people that are on the front line of Tindall & Ranson serving the Customers.Kevin, (the plumber??) comes the next day and reluctantly installs the faucet because it doesnt have a spray connection. Real customer service would have been helping out my mother and buying the correct faucet that sells for $99.The cost for these services was slightly less than $500. My mother got nothing for her money; but, alot of aggravation and disappointment.Tindall & Ranson are crooks. Please dont hire these guys.John E.
Great work for installing new water heater. Andrew from Tindall Ranson replaces it with ease and no issues. Very efficient and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend them for water heater replacement.
Our water heater broke and leaked everywhere. We had to shut the water off at the main valve and had no water at all. Brianna squeezed us in the same day I called even though they were booked up for the day. Dan arrived and worked tirelessly to explain everything to me, install the new water heater and show me what I need to check from time to time. Dan was courteous and professional. Everyone I dealt with made a stressful situation much easier to get through. I highly recommend them!!!
RUN from Tindall Ranson. This company has zero integrity. Charged $250 for a visit that required 15 minutes of work. The guy sat in my house chatting for the rest of the hour and then had the audacity to charge me for the pleasure (also note--I had a back injury and would have far preferred if he had just gone away!) Tried to speak to management at TR but they claim the fee was justified. NEVER EVER again. Literally take your business anywhere else.
My A/c condenser fan stopped working and called them for a service. The technician came on time and after hearing us tell the issue, he replaced the capacitor and charged $300.00 . He also checked the refrigerant level and the attic unit. The unit stopped working after couple hours and turns out the motor is no good. The tech came back again and said since its an old unit, its hard to diagnose and fix an old HVAC Condenser unit. He said we can try replacing the motor etc. which again may be $1000.If this is the case, I wish they could have told me upfront that the replacing of the capacitor may not fix the issue. For all the home owners with old HVAC, if your condenser stops working, just get a new capacitor based on the old one and replace by watching youtube videos. If that does not fix the issue, you will be better off replacing the unit rather than trying to fix it.
I chose not to have this company install my water heater, and Ewing Township decided to send me a notice and order of a penalty of $500, because no permit had been filed. Kevin Tindall, who had earned no money from me, immediately went the extra mile to call the Township and resolve the problem and then to call me after hours to let me know that everything was OK. I appreciate his kindness and help very much. If I need a plumber, this is the one that I will call.
Andrew was very professional and knowledgeable and trustworthy. He did a great job!
TR replaced my hot water heater. Andrew was on time, worked quickly and professionally. I was happy and satisfied with the job and would use them again.
TR came to our house in Hamilton to install new water heater thru PSEG.The worker Dan was exceptional. Arrived early.Explained the work and pricing thoroughly.Did work efficiently and explained the details of the new water heater. We are both retired and were very pleased with entire experience.
Dan was my technician for my water heater. What a solid job everything was neat and straight and he informed me more about a water eater I never thought I could know. I highly recommend tindall ranson to work in my home anytime. He even put tarps down on my floors as well as cleaned up his work. Such a great professional!!!
Service person Dan arrived on time, ready to go on a new hotwater tank replacement via PSE&G program. He was very thorough and professional including attending to some minor flue & chimney adjustments that were not required but which he offerred to do noentheless. Good representativ e of the business.
Our water heater broke, was referred to them through our pseg program. The technician Andrew was out here the next day and did a great job. He had the new water heater installed within a few hours and was very courteous and professional.
I was very skeptical on using their service based on the google reviews but was pleasantly surprised with the experience today. The technician, Kevin Haggerty was on time and very thorough with the job. I had to extend the gas line few inches and he did a great job from start to finish. What surprised me was, the job was to fix the gas line for the range in the kitchen. After the job was done he checked to make sure our furnace and water heater was working properly as he had to turn off the main gas valve outside the house to finish the job.Happy customer !!!
Andrew just finished replacement of my water heater. Andrew completed the work in a timely fashion. He is courteous and clear on the scope of work and charges to be applied.
Very happy with the service: pleasant, competent and professional.
Beware! Called 10/14 to schedule to have a clog in the drain for my washing machine. Woman on the phone said they didnt have anyone available until the following Monday 10/21. Claims it has been busy. She said the estimate is $92 in addition to fees incurred if I decide to have her plumber fix the problem. I came to read the google reviews because she definitely didnt leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling. Thank goodness I did. Beware of this business!!!
The Tindall Ranson team did an excellent job rerouting duct work and relocating the hot water heater. Awesome customer service and exceptional quality provided by Kevin, Tony, Ken, Andrew and Bill. Many thanks!
My water heater cracked and flooded my basement late Tuesday night. Tindall & Ranson sent Andrew out to replace it the next morning. He was prompt, friendly, very personable, and explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. He showed me a couple of things that needed to be upgraded so that it would pass inspection. They even took care of the permits. Andrew got the job done in less time than he said it might take and did a fantastic job. I was so grateful that I could once again use the water, especially since I had my infant grandson living with me and having water was essential. I would definitely recommend this company.
Andrew was the absolute best he was fast, professional, and his cleanliness was a plus thanks for installing my new water heater you rock.
My wife and I closed on a new home in early February with the understanding that we would need to replace our water heater soon after move in. We originally going to go with a replacement water tank with the same gallon size until we decided to do some research on a tankless system. After doing research we decided to get some quotes through PSEG to take advantage of 0% interest free offer. The process was so streamlined and simple, from a phone call to PSEG they were able to put us in contact with Colleen at Tindall Ranson.Colleen was able to come out the next day and give us a very reasonable estimate to upgrade to tankless including running gas, vent, electrical lines and mounting.Once we decided to go with them, Colleen was able to schedule our installation which went like a breeze. The installers did a phenomenal and clean job of running and hiding everything seemlessly in our partial finished basement including mounting!Very impressed with the quality of workOnce installed, the covid nightmare began and we were in a waiting period with the township for inspections.Megan with the permit department was fantastic with keeping us updated with the status of our permit and the township inspections schedule with covidWe finally were able to get everything in place and have the tank turned on and my wife and I could not be any happierGreat work, slightly more expensive but you pay for quality.
The technician his name was mike and he done a awesome job thank you
Andrew, the service man, was very informative and helpful. He did a clean and efficient job.
I got my heater replaced with tindall via PSEG and the technician that came to do the job is Andrew, he did a pretty neat and quality job in replacing the heater, he explained every detail very patiently and most importantly didn’t get annoyed with all the questions that I have asked him, he is very smart and knows the job very well and in addition he gave me lot of good practice tips to maintain a clean heater and HVAC system. He brought a cloth with him to cover the flooring, carpets and shoe cover etc to protect the home flooring and tiles from leaking water, outside dirt etc. overall impressed with the service provided by Andrew from tindall and ranson! He completed the job in less than 2 hours and he was on time.
Tindall Ranson are an outstanding company committed to providing outstanding service. I called them with an urgent problem in the morning. They worked around my needs and accommodated my service call the same day and resolved a major leakage problem threatening my hardwood floors. The service professionals, the staff and all office personnel are all very pleasant to work with and provide service to resolve your problem. I recommend them highly.
My tech was on time and courteous. He walked through what needed to be done took care of the paperwork and got the job done. He met the time frames he gave me and cleaned up when the job was done.
Very professional and did the job quickly and correctly
The first time their guy tried to overcharge me without telling me in advance. He came in and did bunch of “work” then asked me to pay triple the price I was quoted on the phone. I called out on him that he should’ve told me before charging me so I would’ve been informed. I think he was trying to take advantage of a housewife who knows nothing about anything. Since he left, our heater had more problems, a loud banging sound that wake us up through the night. I called them about it, they wanted to charge us more for just coming out to see what’s going on, even though the problem occurred after their technician came by. It’s obvious they did something here and created this problem and now they are trying to make more money by coming out. Dishonest and shady business.
New to the area and called Tindall Ranson when our heat went out based on their reputation. Their technician was great--arrived promptly, and took care of our problem in about five minutes (wind had blown out the pilot).Received a bill a few days later. For the service call, $50, which seemed fair enough. However, added to this bill was a diagnostic for an additional $100. When I complained that no diagnostic was done, they threatened to send the bill to a collection agency.Apparently their reputation for great service only applies to their field personnel.
They showed up early diagnosed and fixed the HVAC problems very quickly. They did a great job. I couldnt have asked for a more professional response.
They are the only plumbers weve used in 12 years. They do very high quality work and they always stand behind that work.
License Plate XV 283F ran me off the road...Teach your drivers how to drive and pay attention to the road.
Terrible experience, run dont walk away. Overcharges for shoddy work. Estimates not same as bill. They quoted me a price to bleed my heating system then billed me four times what they quoted. People are entitled and arrogant.
Really bad diagnosis and bad service--do not use this company!
VERY FAIR
