Maryann and her husband were wonderful to work with and helped us pick out the perfect rug for our new home. I recently had a large dark green stain from a Christmas tree that toppled over on to our handmade Stark Carpet.I enlisted The Princeton Rug gallery to help me find a way to remove this large stain. The owners could not have been more helpful.After a a visits to my home, we decided we needed an”expert” to clean the damage. The Rug Gallery provided us with the perfect person. This gentleman was more of a magician than a carpet cleaner. He removed all of the stain, by hand, in two visits . You have to see how colorful are the rugs they have on display.They have rugs from all over the world, any type any size and the price, they got it. We spent sometimes in the store to decide which one to buy, the selection was so big, so wide, I wanted all! We bought two beautiful rugs. I love our house these days much more, the colors in these rugs has given life to our place. I love the colors and quality in their rugs. Go and see their rugs!!!

I was in town visiting with a friend and running some errands. She was going to Princeton Rug Gallery to discuss her Persian rugs that she wanted cleaned. When we walked in to get assistance with the rugs I met the owner of the store. The store was full of so many different and beautiful rugs. The selection was amazing! I was curious about the rugs, where they came from and what differentiated them. At that moment, it was clear the owner was passionate about what he does. I had no intention of making a purchase as I was an out of town guest more than half way across the country. I expressed that to him but nonetheless he answered all of my questions and went to the trouble of showing me various examples of so many different and beautiful rugs. His wife also gave me great decorating/design advise. She stepped in explaining which rugs worked for various design models and how different rugs could be used to create different aesthetics. I so wish I had a store like this in Southern California where I could get such lovely, knowledgeable and gracious service and advice. I would seriously consider buying here remotely using FaceTime as I have not found the combination of knowledgeable customer service with such an exceptional selection of rugs. This is a great store!

I have known Jalil and Miriam for a number of years now and had them clean many older Persian carpets with fantastic results, improving their condition and appearance dramatically.Ive also spent many hours talking with Jalil about the vast world of Persian and other carpets, and his knowledge is superb. We have worked together to find a number of pieces which now grace my home. I highly recommend them!

We wanted to hang a family heirloom Turkish silk rug. The owners were very knowledgeable about different options and ultimately did a great job of sewing on a hidden pocket sleeve at a very reasonable cost. It looks great, and I highly recommend them.

We have purchased numerous beautiful persian rugs from the owner, Jay for both our house, a historic in-town home in Princeton, and for two of our children. His prices are always fair, and he never offers a ridiculous high price that you would feel inclined to negotiate. He gives you his best price....alll the time. I would say we have purchased 10-15 very special rugs from him. He is also a very warm, caring person that we really like. My daughter actually calls Jay Grandpa Jay, as he has helped us in ways other than rugs! I strongly recommend his beautiful rugs, and recommend doing business with this very honest, fair man. Our next door neighbor has also used Jay to outfit their 10,000 square foot home, and are very happy with their rugs, and with Jay!

As I went into Princeton Rug Gallery today I was most pleasantly surprised when after receiving prompt and personal attention, yet unable to make a decision as to which carpets I wanted to purchase, the owner Jalil told me to take the five small (yet exquisite!) carpets I was debating home with me so I could see them in my house and feel truly comfortable with my selections !!
