This morning, I got egg & sausage on a poppy seed bagel. Prices seem very fair, service is usually quick, and the food is good quality. Always a great option for a tasty grab-and-go breakfast!

Always great. We came back this month after two years out of town and staff still remembered me and asked about the kids (in no small part because my daughter wrote them a letter in first grade saying how much she loves their food). Lox sandwich is always a winner, as is a sausage bacon egg and cheese with onion and jalapeño on an everything. Cheeses are fresh, bagels are excellent (still toast them if making a sandwich), coffee is pretty ok. We’ve probably had more than 100 breakfast from them and still go back first thing whenever we visit town. Fastest, easiest breakfast on the East Side.

My go-to spot for a bacon egg and cheese. Try the cinnamon sugar bagel, you wont be disappointed! Its especially great with the salty combo of bacon egg and cheese!! You also can add avocado and toppings like hot sauce, ketchup, etc. I prefer to call in orders, but I ordered in person on Sunday and it was very fast.

I was not expecting to pay $11.00+for a bagel with cream cheese and lox when we visited this store at the weekend. You see, a review of the Bagel Gourmet menu online indicated the price was far less, at $8.99, and we werent exactly paying attention when we ordered one of these, along with just two plain bagels on the side to take take. Was it good? Yes, it was excellent. But paying a Dean and Deluca New York City price frankly is too much. Will return, but with caution. Sad to say we are seeing alot of price gouging right now in the US. Its not just that prices are higher. Stores and shops are more frequently sticking a higher price on items at the point of sale. This is not right.

I just love the ladies at Bagel Gourmet! They are so kind and always happy to see you! Very fast and good service too! Great bagels and a variety of delicious cream cheeses. Do yourself a favor and get some of the Mexican items too, the burritos are awesome!

Have been going to Bagel Gourmet for donkeys years. Boiled and then baked. A variety, and all of them delicious. And great choice of cream cheeses. Yup yup. Love the place.

They get a good lunch crowd (mainly to go), counter service but there are tables. The chicken burrito was excellent, great flavor and not messy.

Per the sign on their door “No Bagels Since September 28.” Asked why, I was told “due to pandemic shortages there are no bagels.” It’s hard to market yourself bagel shop with no bagels.

My favorite place to get a bagel or breakfast sandwich in PVD! It’s the only place I’ve been that will make a whole wheat everything bagel with egg cheddar avocado and hot sauce. So delicious. They also have an amazing drink selection! I can get so many different kinds of kombucha or smoothies.

I’ve been here for only a week and have already been here about 5 times. The bagels are amazing, coming from a person who would travel to NY just for the bagels, and the coffee is wonderful. It has the perfect roast and isn’t watery at all. The cream cheese is low fat, but it also tastes great. Overall a good experience with kind workers and good, inexpensive food.

Been going there for about three years, boyfriend loves it. I always have an issue when I walk in and order. Apparently it’s ok to make fun of customers who don’t order the standard bacon, egg and cheese. It’s annoying and unprofessional, what are you an elementary school bully? No one has to eat this but me. I paid for it with my own money. After they make the sandwich (and yes I tip every single time) it was so disgusting and messy I couldn’t eat any of it. The ingredients were wrong, half of it fell out in my car and spilled all over the seat, now it smells. I have pictures, don’t see anywhere to put them but it’s so gross, obviously i won’t go back, no one wants to walk into a place of business to get made fun of for paying for the services they provide and then be handed an atrocity. The company should be embarrassed at how shameful and disrespectful their service was and their food. Nasty 🤢

Their bagels are the best Ive had anywhere outside the Diamond District in NYC. Their cream cheeses and coffees are good too. And, if youre in the mood for a burrito, youre in for a real treat too. Theres not much room to eat there but their bagels are great right out of the bag and everything Ive had there can be held and eaten out of one hand while walking around College Hill 😊

Visited Bagel Gormet for the RI FOOD FIGHTS event taking place through out the month of September. Out of every place I have visited, this has my vote for best bagel. Not only is the staff friendly and kind, but the bagels had the best chew and texture to them. The closest bagel Ill get in comparison to NY/NJ. The bagel consisted of a lot of cream cheese, but I really didnt mind. Overall, fantastic place.

I love bagel gourmet...the employees are so nice and perform very good customer service. The bagels are amazing and fresh every morning. Everything is made to order and always delicious. They have the best breakfast sandwiches around. The coffee is always on point and satisfying. For the quality of the food here you can’t beat the price, it’s totally worth it. I tell everyone about this place and when they try it, they agree 100% that it’s a pretty dope spot.

School is out, business is slow, and they nearly double charged me for my order. I ordered my usual bagel with flavored cream cheese (and I always ask for extra light cream cheese) and lox and they charged over $11 for the sandwich when the menu clearly states 8.99. The cashier refused to change it. I paid and left. That will be my last trip there. I work at Brown, I am not a student on an expense account from mom & dad. Sorry to have to cross this spot off my lunch list, b/c the sandwiches are good, but price gouging is unethical.

I went here regularly during college for bagels with cream cheese, breakfast sandwiches, and Mexican food. It was everything I remembered it being five years later! Always a line, but well worth the wait.

I have been here several times and really like the bagels. My favorite sandwich is the sausage, egg & cheese on an everything! They definitely have the closest thing to a NY bagel and the cream cheese is great. Only problem is when they get busy....it can take a while to get served. Usually I am in a rush...so always not the ideal place. But if youre in the mood for a good bagel.....this is your place.

Quality bagels. lots of cream cheese flavors (generously dosed too). or buy them by the dozen for a good price.AND their Mexican street foods are really tasty. (my favorite quesadilla in the area, with ham!) steak tips are a winner.AND the coffee is better than I expected. AND the staff is really pleasant AND the one on Thayer is good too. (havent been to the 3rd locale.)

Good food and prices and quick! The ordering system is confusing. There are signs saying order here and pay here but when I arrived everyone was in the pay here line and some seemed to be ordering things, so I got in that line but when I got in the front was told I was in the wrong line. It would also be nice if they put signs out saying what types of bagels they have.

I love the food and it would get a 5 star rating If I were rating just on that alone. But because the guy behind the counter who takes your order is so rude, I cant help but knock them down a few notches. The guy who rings you up is very temperamental/sensitive about how you order. I have been coming here for 2+ years and never made a big deal out of it, but someone who went with me today actually asked me to write up a review to complain. He has been dubbed after the Seinfeld name for the Soup guy. NO BAGELS FOR YOU! Besides that food is good so that is what keeps me coming back.
