Great place for all your beverage needs. I love this place always greeted with a smile and kind word. They also will gladly help you pick something out, make a recommendation and even gift wrap for free. They get you by name and they will eventually order something for you f they dont carry it. Standard is a local store that is family owned and has been serving the community for years. They have a nice wine selection as well as many hard alcohol options. They stopped cashing checks recently as this used to be a popular service that they offered.

Been a great family run place my entire life.

This is one of my favorite places to shop for wine and liquor. They always have a large selection to choose from, their prices are great and everyone is always very helpful. There are closer places for me to shop on the East Side of Providence where I live, but I always find myself going back to Standard Liquor on Eddy Street.

While I love the many small liquor stores of the South Side, its nice to have a larger venue with a wider selection. Standard does a nice job with curation: youll find what youre looking for, but some nice surprises as well, and there are options for every price range. The staff is knowledgeable and always friendly, and they go out of their way to be helpful. My fav on this side of the city.
