I live in East Providence, but the Family Dollar there is closed for a few days. I decided to go to this Family Dollar. Probably one of the most scary and disappointing experience shopping Ive had in a long time. The store shelves were empty. The employees were rude and not helpful in the least. There were customers arguing over drugs outside the store when I pulled up. I will never be going to that location again.

If theres a line expect to be standing in it for a long time. The cashiers dont rush or arent good at flowing down a long line but other then that, they are a go to spot.

Place was a little out of place boxes all over do 2 stock but because the boxes were in the walkway it was hard 4 u 2 walk around the store plus a lot of the shelves were empty but had ok prices

Love the location its convenient for many and the prices and smart coupons do. Come in handy, but the clutter and crowded isles with all the new inventory coming in is horrible! Hard to navigate with your cart through them,and the customer service is awful except 2 people Yolanda who is awesome and so nice and another young girl who is a cashier shes great too but I dont know her name because of no name tags. Sad

Crowded with boxes so couldnt go down certain isles but Spanish cashier very nice and tried to move line fast cause she was only cashier working the line with lots of customers waiting. Good job whoever she is.

Management is very tough; always smiling, but there was clear verbal abuse towards her employees due to possibly her own stress. Stress was visible on fellow employees as well. Always a long line and only a couple decent cashiers, excluding the Hispanic cashiers who spoke not even the basics of the English language. Clean store every now and then, though can seem half-assed as well.

Family Dollar has a little of everything one might need. However, usually crowded and long lines at the register. Best to arrive when it opens or just before it closes.

Always a very loooooooooong line & just as everyone has said,usually only one register open yet most times for me,people are helpful if i ask,if it`s too crowded then there`s not much help at all if any & i do see this everytime i go in,(a woman in Her 50`s?not sure & she is spanish) the manager is always working either stocking shelves,putting things back or something! This woman never appears to take a break & i believe it would be very appreciated by Her,if either she received a raise or some much needed help in that particular store & no,i don`t know Her yet i see Her very often & she`s never idle!

Although prices are convenient I dont ever go in there if Im in a rush. The cashiers are slow and you can spend sometimes 10 minutes in line waiting to pay.

Management doesnt exist..Ailes are always full of crap boxes, shopping carts (with store products in them)stocking carts etc. Very uncomfortable place to shop. Its the worst family dollar Ive ever been to.The Owners of family dollar need to fire all the fake managers who dont manage anything and basically get people in there who wanna work and care about there jobs.I wonder why the employees even get paid because they dont do anything at all...Stay out of that land fill till new management takes over.

Awful store. usually rude and slow cashiers, have 1 register open even with huge lines, and there is usually always a problem with the cash registers.

Family Dollar is great place to shop and find things for cheap. this store almost always has long lines and only one cashier.

Yolanda is the WORST manager I have ever seen.. Very unprofessional..She allowed Co workers to fight and not stop them..I stood there for 15 minutes while the employee were fighting and I had to ask is someone going to check me out. Yolanda rang me out she left security alarms on my clothes..
