Sin bakery has never failed me! I am in love with all that they do! I’ve been ordering my cakes here all the time & I’m always bragging about them to others! Ugh! It’s so good to have a little Sin. The flavors, the textures, the moistness you get is always so spot on!

Sin recently made the desserts for my wedding and they were absolutely delicious! Sin was extremely easy to work with and I can’t wait to try more desserts in the future.

One of my best friends has a severe egg allergy, and Sin made us a strawberry champagne cake that was egg free!! You couldnt tell at all that it wasnt a normal cake, and they did an amazing job on the decorations. We asked for them to write happy birthday in Russian and Mandarin, which is no easy feat, and it came out beautifully. I highly recommend Sin for custom cakes at a fair price!!

Operating under the motto “eat wicked, never feel guilty,” Sin has been serving Providence since 2007, a reputation established by Special Occasion Cakes since expanding to include Coffee and Baked Goods plus an evening Tasting Menu offering Desserts paired to Cocktails.Using quality ingredients with care, local when possible, it was for Thanksgiving 2020 that four Pies were ordered for take-out, Pumpkin fairly predictable while Pecan and Chocolate Cream each proved indulgent but not overly sweet before finishing with nicely roasted Apples beneath buttery Cinnamon Crumble.

I was walking around hungry for about 20 minutes on Easter Sunday unable to find anywhere to feed me brunch. I had walked by Sin one or two times before I decided to go in and try it - the exterior made me think it was more of a fancy pastry shop then something with delicious savory treats like I was looking for.To my surprise this place was AMAZING! The barista was fantastic and very friendly and happily handed over the spinach artichoke pastry and cranberry orange Pop-Tart I wanted. Both were beyond delicious! My favorite was the spinach artichoke pastry which was light fluffy chewy and delicious, and the perfect way to start an Easter Sunday.

I had been meaning to come here for a while, and now that I finally tried Sin I’m kicking myself for waiting so long. I got a maple latte and a raspberry scone, and both were incredible. The scone was so light and fluffy it blew my mind. Really cool interior, you can see some of the fancy decorative cakes they’ve made displayed above the entryway. Look forward to coming back often!

We hired Sin bakery for our wedding cake and not only was it delicious but a true work of art! It was exactly what I pictured and more- highly recommend!!

One of the best additions to the west side in the last ten years! This fabulous little bakery boasts big flavors, some of their best featuring your favorite liquors. The Chocolate Bourbon cake is a personal favorite. Staffed with friendly folks, this bakery also features a full bar for a sinfully delicious experience.

Foods mostly decent at best, theres better bakeries around though that are both cheaper, have a larger selection, and just taste better. Much of the food here is overpriced, $3.50 for a small cupcake and $34 for a small 6 inch cake for example.Super friendly and talkative front workers though. I was told they compost a lot of their unsold food and sell some of the ones they are tossing out for cheap.

Sin made us the most AMAZING wedding cake at a super reasonable price. Our guests were saying that it was the most delcious wedding cake theyve ever had. We are so excited to relive it all in a year when we get our complimentary anniversary cake!

The yodel is everything. Idk whats in there besides magic, air, cake, and chocolate. The yodel is everything. Careful of the espresso depending on who pours it. Its good but not the best. Either way ... do the yodel.

I ordered one of the 6 shop cakes for celebrating a Midsummer weekend with my daughter. I ordered the Champagne Strawberry cake and it was so beautiful - very simple and elegantly decorated. It was absolutely delicious, the buttercream was silky and light, just the right amount of sweetness and the cake itself was wonderful too. I highly recommend this bakery (and this cake!) and I will be happy to order from them more often. I wish I could upload a picture, but my computer is giving me grief, sorry!

I always get my birthday cakes from Sin Bakery since 2018 and they never disappoint! Love their cocktails and desserts.

Great baked items. Both savory and sweet. My son enjoyed the vanilla cup cake and my wife and I had the raspberry shortbread, rhubarb Pop tart, and mozzarella/tomato gallette. Everything was fresh and perfectly baked. They have a decent looking bar as well but Im not much of a drinker. Really great design and layout for the place. The staff is so friendly and helpful. My son enjoyed hanging out and eating at the bakery. Very spacious and well laid out.

Was working in the area the past week and stopped in a couple times. Will absolutely be back! The sinnamon rolls are literally the best Ive ever had and cinnamon rolls are one of my favorites. I got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich today and was so pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and saw that it was on a homemade biscuit with caramelized onions. This place knows what theyre doing. Keep it up!

A little on the expensive side for most budgets of dessert and drink... But that being said.. its worth every bit. The mixologist is a skilled artist whose creations are paired with an equally delectable dessert. A favorite spot of mine in Rhode Island, if not the Northeast.

Got some birthday cake for the first time and GOODNESS, it is perfect and so delicious. My 2 years old niece LOVED it for her birthday! My family loved it as well! I recommend 10/10 !

My husband and I are newlyweds as of 5/18/21 and placed a customized cupcake order for our wedding a few weeks beforehand. While we have been frequent patrons of Sin for years, it felt natural to inquire about a tasting to construct the best menu reflective of my husband and Is personalities.The tasting went over stupendously, the tentativeness to our desires was apparent, and the invoice addressed everything perfectly. We were beyond excited to share these beautiful cupcakes with our micro-wedding of 10 guests for 5/18/21. Even with the saddening design hiccup that occured (my particular wedding cupcake was missing a royal icing design as promised per discussion and invoice,) the accommodation and apologies were profusely appreciated. Not only this- every single cupcake was fantastic, maintained moisture, and tasted stellar! We will easily be re-ordering for our future post nuptial celebratory bash in October!

Friendly staff. Good coffee & good cake but I didnt taste the bourbon part of it. Only thing I hated was the fat fly roaming in the other food display. Hope he hadnt already tap danced on my cake!😠😨

Stoped by with my sister for some after dinner dessert and drinks - We we’re celebrating her birthday. The place was great and really laid back. They were playing music from the 90’s-2000’s, it had the majority of us singing along - the drinks helped with that. The deserts were Sinfully delicious. I love the fact they recommend drinks to be paired with each desert. I ordered Lust (Espresso cake)and it was severed with a Japanese coffey negroni (Japanese whisky, creme de cocoa, espresso infused dry vermouth) - the perfect pair. The drink really helped to cut though the sweetness of the cake. I also tired a cookie (cowboy cookie I think) - holy s**t I almost bought the entire cookie jar. We both absolutely loved this place. Can’t wait to visit again.

I am so glad I found this small local bakery. I love the bread pudding, cinnamon rolls are absolutely perfect not to sweet the scones are not dry at all they have great coffee with no dairy milk options I also love the chocolate coated almonds they are a great little snack.

Recognizing that rich, heavy food can leave you quite full, seeing many late night / dessert bars go to waste at the tail end of a reception, we opted towards mini cupcakes for our friends and family at our wedding and Sin Desserts did not disappoint.An opportunity beforehand with a few of our friends to sample, we easily made a diverse selection of 4 mini cupcakes, showcasing the culinary sweetness of Rhode Island while incorporating the season (between Summer and Autumn in our case). So impressed, we also used Sin Desserts for our wedding cake.Providing our wedding colors and design examples beforehand, making both cake, filling and frosting selections, Sin created for us a beautiful, simple, one-tier cake to stand atop the multiple levels of cupcakes. Set up and delivery at our venue, working in tandem with our caterer, Sin did an awesome job.Nearly all the cupcakes consumed, some of our guests clearly taking multiples of just one flavor, we were given rave reviews for both flavor and texture. They serve coffee. Nice cool atmosphere. Has a modern classic look to it. Desserts are amazing I had the cheese cake and it came with a green sauce that complemented it so well. You can choose to have it with or without the mango ice cream. Nice service

We hired Sin Desserts for our Newport wedding and were SO glad we did! I had a 3-tiered vegan wedding cake. It was so good that I broke tradition and got into our leftovers post-wedding way in advance of our 1-year anniversary (oops!). I chose vegan chocolate cake with a delicious cookies and cream filling and vanilla frosting. My husband is not vegan so I decided to surprise him with a grooms cake designed like the Star Wars Millennium Falcon; it was banana cake and peanut butter frosting (his favorite flavors). He absolutely loved it! Finally we added a third cake (its my favorite food so why not?...) chocolate, raspberry-filled birthday cake to honor my grandmother on her birthday the same day as our wedding. We got to do our tasting with full-sized cupcakes months in advance to try a number of flavor combinations. For a vegan / non-vegan duo they were very accommodating for satisfying our cake wishes and I was so happy that my tiered cake could be done vegan in a way that most guests wouldnt even know, but meant I got to do the cake cutting and actually eat it!

I dragged myself out of bed early for once just so I could start my day with one of their egg and cheese biscuits. Its flaky and buttery and peppery and has caramelized onions on it, and I would die for this breakfast sandwich. Its pretty heavy on its own, but sometimes I add a red velvet cupcake since theyre delicious.

This is a great place to go for dessert and drinks. I went with a group a friends and had cocktails, coffee, and desserts at the bar. We all agreed it would be a lovely spot to bring a date.Their menu changes seasonally and has cocktails and desserts for each of the seven deadly sins. All the options were creative and it was hard to choose because everything sounded delicious: chocolate chip bread pudding with mint ice cream, coconut cheesecake with mango sorbet, a seasonal fruit gallette...There were additional off-menu dessert options in a display case.I got a slice of Smores cake from the case and a flight of dessert wines. YUM.I will be back soon.

We ordered a small red velvet cake to cut for our wedding last week and not only did it look exactly how we expected, but it tasted even better! The buttercream frosting with the cream cheese frosting worked amazingly together. We hid the leftovers so we could have some throughout the week :)

Cupcakes are completely disgusting! Dry and tastes like their refrigerator case! Not exactly welcoming to people with children either.

It is definitely the best bakery in the US I have every visited. Even more, it is one of the best in the world Ive been to. The food is super delicious and elegant. Note, however, that applies to desserts from the menu only, the take away ones are just a little above average. Also I like honey sage latte there. I have not tried cocktails yet.

With all restrictions with Covid-19 I decided to order a cake to be delivered for my daughters 18th Bday.So glad I did. Amazing service and delicious and moist cake! So much flavor. First time visit. Known for their cakes, they also have a nice selection of other pastries including scones, muffins, tarts with some vegan options. Espresso drinks, teas, hot chocolate. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. I will definitely return. Nice airy space. Parking on street.

Delicious pastries, good coffee, and a great bar with specials come evening time. I planned to stay just for a few minutes for cake, but I ended up hanging around for a couple hours to enjoy the bar. Seeing the bartender bringing in fresh ingredients before he opened easily convinced me to stay. Everything tasted fresh and was well prepared. Definitely would recommend.

Delicious pastries and good teas and coffee. They do not carry a wide variety of pastries but the ones they do have are always very good. Plus the price is reasonable compared to other bakeries that you could patronize nearby.

First and last time we will visit. Cappuccino was cold, was out of raw sugar and the best part was the “tiramisu” is anything but! Basically a candy bar with chocolate glazing. Just not a pleasant experience overall.

Order a cake for my daughters sweet 16. The cake looked beautiful and they delivered on time. Thats the only good thing I can say. The fondant was so thick and hard that we could barely cut it. No one liked the cake. I paid $10 for a cake topper, that turned out to be fondant on a stick. I was very disappointed since I had seen so many good reviews and the images of their cakes are beautiful. I basically threw away $300

Fantastic selection of baked goods for your morning visit and a spectacular offering of fun cocktails paired with desserts for nighttime visits. A great place to have a coffee meeting. Sun-filled during the daytime. Staff is friendly, too!

I had my wedding cake done here (chocolate with coffee milk ganache). It was amazing. Since then, all my major party cakes have come from here. My record is 3 in one month! I will not buy a cake anywhere else.

I work across the street and I absolutely love this bakery. The coffee is amazing and any pastry is to die for! Was talked into the Ruttin Tootin Gluten Free Muffin by the name alone. Zero regrets. Must try everything eventually! From one Baker to another yall are top notch!

Love this place! The atmosphere, the drinks, the food, everything. First off there’s good music, which to me is a must. Alyssa puts 100% into all her drinks and takes care of her customers to the fullest with a smile on her face. Brooke the baker makes some of the most yummy desserts too, her creme Brule, and tiramisu are to die for :). 10/10 recommend.

I purchased my son’s graduation cake this Saturday, I live in New York and my children live in Rhode Island and of course, short notice and with his mascot for his college that he is going to. The cake was ready by the time I came to Rhode Island. I looked on line and saw this bakery, even though I was like a little pricey but nooooooo this cake was extremely delicious, moist, and decorated to perfection...The staff were extremely sweet even the young lady that took my order who probably thought I was crazy..lol...but to end a long story the cake was the bomb dot com because I had to hide an extra piece for my son for later and we purchased a cheesecake that was still left behind... you definitely have to order from here...🎂🎂❤️❤️❤️🎂🎂

Found this spot from googling desserts & drinks. So glad we stopped in to try it. Amazing desserts. The cream puffs were out of this world. Definitely enough for 2 people or even 3. Creme Brulee was like no other creme brulee Ive tried before. Light fluffy & delicious. The caffeinated alcoholic beverages were delicious as well. A must try!!!!

Quite simply, sin is an excellent coffee shop. Im disappointed it took me so long to discover that Sin was more than the bakery it seems from the exterior. There is a full espresso bar inside and their brewed coffee isnt anything to shy from either. The wi-fi is reliable and theres good table space if youre looking for a place to work for a while or hold a small meeting.As for their baked goods -- theyre excellent and creative. Sins dessert menu offers dessert and drink pairings, which is as brilliant as it is fun! Theyll host tasting events, too, occasionally, which include an entry fee for a wide selection of dessert and alcohol tastings. Without hesitation, I recommend Sin.

Sometimes I want to come here because it looks inviting but there is a strange chair to table ratio. I brought some friends over and we all agreed that it is really uncomfortable to sit at the tables; we felt like children. Our average height is between 165cm to 180cm and it was really a strange and uncomfortable way to drink tea. The bar seating is better I guess.So now I only come by for dog treats.Any chance of providing things that are not dessert or bread? A place surrounded by local Backyard Farms, please consider that your neighbors care about health.

I stopped in yesterday to order a custom cake for my fiances birthday. Everyone was friendly and helpful. My son got a flourless brownie, which is rich and to die for. I got a chocolate cupcake which was also very good, especially the frosting.I read a comment below in regards to the shop closing early and not being acknowledged when at the door, but yesterday was my first visit and I too thought they closed a half hour early when I tried to PUSH the door open...silly thing that I learned after several tries and mouthing to an employee, are you closed?, was that you have to PULL the door open. I had to laugh at myself for second when I got in.Just a suggestion to the owner...it might help (new) customers if you put a pull sign on the door outside. Its probably what happened to the reviewer below.

Had the black raspberry buttercreme cupcake.. the frosting was tasty but the cupcake was dry.. I think the frosting was more on the shortening and less on the butter.The coffee was smooth and tasty and not bitter.The goat cheese mushroom poptart was probably the best food pastry ive ever had!I recommend!

Just went for the second time, thought we would give it a another chance. The first time we got a tarimisu, maybe they gave us the wrong item, but it was not tarimisu, more of a chocolate cake with a thick frosting. This time around we ordered the panicotta- unfortunately again this was not a panicotta or a new interpretation of the dessert. It was definitely cool-whip on a cracker. It wouldnt have been a huge deal, but it was $11 for cool-whip! Additionally we had a really unpleasant experience with the bartender. It wasnt very busy but for some reason she thought it was a good time to clean up while we were trying to ask her questions about their amaris. We were trying to have a discussion but instead were lectured on amari half the time with her back to us so we couldnt understand a word she was saying, and then walking away. Had she let us have a word, she would have learned we actually are very knowledgeable and were trying to have a conversation not a lesson. She served us a wine based amaro not knowing that particular type needs to be refrigerated, the bottle was also left open on the shelf. Needless to say it was oxidized. In the end we left without ordering a drink and will likely not be returning. We did enjoy a lemon custard tart the first time we went, it was excellent, but not available at this visit.

Coffee (Americano), and a latte, was excellent and generous. Pastry (raspberry short bread, peanutbutter chipotle cookie, and baked in shop peanutbutter dog biscuits) were all awesome! Well, watching my dogs devour the dog treats makes me believe that theyre as awesome as the sweets that I consumed!

So many delicious options, and the cocktails are amazing!

Supposed to be open until 9pm, so we drove across town to eat here - arrived before 830 and they were closed. Really not acceptable.

Ive heard great things about your bakery and I am looking forward to tasting your treats at the Junior League of RIs 4th Annual Winter Sparkle on February 27th. I will be stopping by before then to pick up some cupcakes for our Fosterware Party on February 25th. Cant wait to try all your amazing flavors.
