I would highly recommend Jewell Eye in particular. Great staff and service.Dr. Kelly is awesome. Super cool and friendly. Former Navy Optometrist. Dr. Kelly really took his time with my exam and offered me many options for my vision issues.I was in and out of my appointment with new contacts in hand in 24 minutes.Excellent experience.

Dr. Rolando Estrada and the staff were very helpful on my visit. I waited hardly at all to be be looked at and was professionally taken though the various tests. Dr Estrada was very helpful in explaining my condition and what would work best for me. A great first experience!

My husband and I have been going to Jewell Eye for more than 10 years. The doctors and staff are always very kind, welcoming and helpful! We always request to see the optometrist, Roland Estrada. He’s our favorite—great guy and super knowledgeable! We went for our annual visits this month and the staff was very particular about all the COVID protocols. Everything was disinfected and properly distanced which put my mind at ease. Highly recommend!

I’m assuming that they’re running some sort of promotion to pad their reviews because everyone who works in this place is extremely rude and unprofessional. The same level of customer service you’d find in a downtown Detroit Applebee’s.

If I could give a place ZERO stars I would. BEWARE when coming here. I had been coming here for years just out of convenience of location and hours of operation. I didnt realize how oddly they were billing my insurance. I called to get information from billing and both receptionists that I spoke with were very rude and refused to let me speak to anyone regarding billing. They were billing my eye insurance and medical without reason. I wouldnt recommend anyone step foot inside this place.

I am super pleased with the level of professionalism expressed on my visit. Each and every employee was very friendly and very helpful. I appreciated seeing them always sanitizing and cleaning everything while waiting to be seen and while searching for my lenses. Would definitely recommend Jewell eye to anyone looking for exceptional service.

I had a great experience after I had to unexpectedly get a new pair of glasses after the ones I had had been chewed up by puppy! The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating to my walk-in. It was busy but they were able to squeeze me in. April was understanding and friendly and did her best to make room in the schedule for me. It was much appreciated and an easy experience given the circumstances!

The Doctor performing the exam was cordial, thorough and very proffesional. He answered allmy questions and was very helpful.

I have written a longer letter to the owners, and I hope that they read it. I received terrible service today, by the office manager Kaitlyn and by Dr. Vaughn.I was refused service because I refused to fill out a multi step ipad questionnaire, that, in fact, I could not read because ...I was there for an eye exam. And., I could not see to read the form.I am blind in one eye and having trouble with my other eye, so it is very difficult to read. When I refused to fill out the form, I was refused service, despite not being able to see the forms to fill out.I am a physician, and I often see what might be called difficult patients at my own practice in Providence. Each patient has a story to tell, and they may be difficult at first but if you are friendly and welcoming, you often are able to help the patient. Thats in fact why we all went into medicine, isnt it? To help people?So, I see patients, even if they do not fill out paperwork and even if they might appear crazy or difficult at first. Treating each patient as a human being is the first step to getting them provide the information that you want and need. Treating people who refuse at first to comply with your (many) requests dehumanizes them, and degrades the patient doctor relationship.I am sure that your experience today weighs heavily on you as it does on me. Next time, take the time to treat me humanely, as a human being, and you will see that you will get exactly what you want, in the end.

Do not waste your time at this location. The Optometrist is a joke and I am guessing has no knowledge of how to perform his job. When I asked if he had a degree in optometry the associate replied, Well, he has a degree. No vision exam was performed and when I asked about the eye exam he asked me if I felt I needed a new prescription. That is not an eye exam. Save your money and go to CVS and just look into the self-test machine or find a real Ophthalmologist to go see.

The online scheduling tool was nice but somewhat pointless. Being a first time patient I filled out my forms ahead of time and arrived 15 minutes early for my 12pm appointment; however, I wasn’t seen until almost 1pm.The doctor was very nice but I question how thorough he was about overall eye health vs. just getting me a quick prescription (which I suppose is the purpose of your practice if you’re attached to LensCrafters).

Completely incorrect eye prescription after I told him I couldnt see with what he was giving me. Went to somebody new a year later and it was three prescriptions off what I needed- saw blurry for a year cause of him.2 Stars cause the desk staff was nice.

Dr. Estrada and the front office staff are great. They are personable, knowledgeable and efficient. I definitely was hesitant to tryout a new eye doctor when I first moved here from Connecticut but Jewell Eye has never disappointed me. Im always able to get an appointment within a couple of days to a week when I call. Lenscrafters is connected to their office, but I cannot speak to the services there.

No waiting time, friendly and patient desk staff and the doctor was the most informative eye doctor I have ever had with education about how to keep your eyes safe, etc. He was warm and approachable with my questions, never making me feel rushed and the eye exam was over in no time...with a smile!!

Today I was in desperate need to see an eye Doctor and only had today off. Glasses broke and 2 years overdue. They got me in at a reasonable time and they saw me right away. the office staff was very professional and pleasant, the Doctor his self-was understandable and was awesome,. Thanks so much!!!!

The service was just really great. The receptionist/optometry assistant was professional and knowledgeable. The rooms were very comfortable, and the optometrist was friendly and warm. Best part? In and out in less that a half hour.

First ever visit and I will be heading back for future visits. Cleary the focus (pardon the pun) is on eyes, yet all I did was smile and laugh. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Fantastic experience.

Had trouble fitting me with contacts. They basically refused to try my exact eyeglass prescription (which is what the instructions from Bausch & Lomb say to do - it seems they dont know or dont care that not every brand of contact lens is fitted in the same way. In this case the manufacturer suggests starting with your existing prescription, which ended up being perfect). After several visits, and the doctor telling me I would have to compromise on the quality of either my distance or my reading vision, and that because I used to have 20/13 vision, my expectations were too high, I fitted myself by ordering them without a prescription from the UK in my exact prescription I have sacrificed nothing in terms of quality - I can see as well as I did before I wore glasses. Its unfortunate that the doctor wasted so many weeks while I let my eyes adjust to the new lenses each time he tried the wrong one. Their methodology for getting to the right lens makes no sense to me - basically starting with something semi-random relative to my actual prescription, and then increasing the distance portion of the lens to bring my reading into focus (which of course made my distance vision poor). This is the second doctor that tried this with me unsuccessfully, so I guess its common for some lenses... And if thats the case, I have no idea why contact lens manufacturers bother putting the magnifications on the boxes at all.

I have been seeing eye doctors for 20 years, and I have never had anyone explain what they were doing and why before. I was a walk-in today and had an absolutely fantastic experience with knowing about my insurance (tough to know coverages on a Sunday), no wait-time, easy transfer of my records, and an overall pleasant experience. Staff was friendly and I actually learned things about how your eyes change!

They’re conveniently located and the front staff and doctor are quite nice. Way too expensive though.

Rude workers especially the dr himself. He was rude to my 4 year old. Definitely do not recommend this place. Also gave me misleading information about my health coverage.

Wish i had been told that my insurance wasnt accepted to cover the glasses i desperately need i wouldnt have wasited my tine just getting an exam i would have gone elswhere where i could have gotten the exam and glasses. Now i have to find a place that will fill this damn prescription. Shady business practice if you ask me charge the insurance for the exam but then tell the patient that the insurance doesnt cover the one damn item they need.

Quickest and most efficient eye appointment Ive ever had.

Initially, I had a bad experience with waiting over two hours for my appointment to take place - it was a Saturday and it was very frustrating to feel like the day was being wasted without any word as to why there was a hold up (there was an electrical issue, only one doctor was working and the waiting room was full). However, after the appointment, one of their employees - Jen - did reach out and apologize for the inconvenience which went a long way, since it meant they understood the situation wasnt handled the best. I appreciated that they reached out to apologize for the long wait and inconvenience to all of those who were waiting for their appointments. Although I was extremely upset at the time, I do think it goes a long way when a company or business can apologize and offer a consolation.
