I was recently thrilled with the quick response time here. We have ordered multiple products from Brassworks and I needed help with a remote/controller that wasnt responding to and performing the correct on/off functions for our gas fireplace. I emailed a description of my issue to Brassworks and within two hours I had my problem completely resolved. It was a not-so-obvious battery replacement followed by a pairing of the fireplace remote to the controller that the Brassworks service team walked me through. Very professional, friendly and fast response. Much appreciated!

Wonderful experience. The employees were professional and knowledgeable. The wood stove I had inserted into my preexisting fireplace looks beautiful and was a very reasonable price.

High quality gas insert fireplace installed. They have everything across a wide selection of price ranges. They were able to get something to work for me despite my limited budget. Unit works great. One small issue I had they were able to come out in the next two days to help fix it.

Recently the blower on my Fireplace Xtrordinair wood fireplace unit stopped working. The fireplace unit is 12 yrs old. I reached out to Brassworks as an authorized dealer to book a service appointment. Jeff talked me though a number of basic steps to determine the possible cause of the issue. Lm a 69 year old man that has experienced a lot over my lifetime and working with the owner Jeff Nelson is absolutely one of the best experiences of my life. The friendliest most knowledgeable helpful person I have ever worked with. Jeff actually talked me out of buying a new fireplace because he said there was an inexpensive way to fix the one I already had. This went against everything I had been told by numerous competitors. And as I have found out he was absolutely right. He has a wide selection of fireplaces in his showroom and a very friendly staff who make you feel special every time you walk in. Jeff also made sure my work was done in a very professional manner and immediate. I will also tell you this is the first review I have ever written!

We bought a wood stove insert from Jeff, who came into our home personally to talk about the stove, different options, and how to use it most efficiently. When Jeff told us the insert would heat our entire house I had my doubts. But here we are in mid-November, and we haven’t had to turn our heat on yet! Sale and installation both were extremely professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. We would recommend Brassworks without hesitation.

We have been impressed with the care and service that we have received from Brassworks. We purchased a gas fireplace and also gas stove from them; as these appliances are our primary source of heat, we place a high value on reliability. Jeff and his team gave us good advice each step of the way. When our fireplace insert developed an intermittent problem caused by a manufacturing flaw, we deeply appreciated their commitment in diagnosing and resolving it. They went way beyond our expectation for service and we were able to enjoy trouble-free and cosy winter.

The one word review first: Perfect!!! ...and the story: we live in Connecticut, and have an old Danish gas stove which we did not buy from Brassworks. We needed someone to track down parts for our discontinued model so we could convert the stove from propane to natural gas. We looked in four states for a dealer who would help us -- and the most responsive BY FAR was Lee Marshall from Brassworks. We would not be able to continue to use our beloved stove were it not for his help. Based on this experience, we sure will buy our next stove from Brassworks -- an hour and a half drive from our home!!!!

About a month ago I called Brassworks in Providence RI to ask them about using fatwood in my wood burning stove. The young man I spoke with; Jeff, told me about Stump Chunks. I recently purchased hardware for my condo renovation at Brassworks and am pleased with the quality and assortment of their products.I moved to the northeast several years ago. I happily discovered the store while looking for a fireplace mantel.I became aware of Emtek locks while shopping another store; but decided to make my purchases at Brassworks because of the service and friendliness I encountered during my previous visits.My front and back door locks are beautiful. There was an issue with the back door digital unit, but it was quickly reorder. Jeff, the owner even sent out one of his lock technician to diagnose the problem and to install the new lock.When I decide to replace my interior doors, I will purchase them from Brassworks.

I thought that I had done enough research prior to purchasing a wood stove. Once I started talking to them I realized that there was way more than meets the eye on the subject and that I had come to the right place. I now have a beautiful fireplace insert that makes the house not only look better but its worth more money. I have since gone back just to check out the beautiful showroom they have and they helped me with the restoration of some brass hardware that desperately needed it! We wanted to put a gas fireplace into an 80 year-old brick fireplace with a non-working chimney in our basement family room. The chimney was 60 feet high from ground level.Jeff came over and sized up the situation, recommended products that would work with our tall chimney, and gave us a rough estimate of the time to delivery and installation.Fireplace arrived on time, installer came as scheduled at 8 am, I opened the door and met him along with a man in Army fatigues standing beside him. They both burst into laughter because I had been shaving and my face was covered with shaving cream. The soldier was his brother on his way to his job with the National Guard but he climbed all the way to the top of my very tall chimney and snaked the exhaust pipe down the chimney before going off to work. Competence combined with a sense of humor! I love it.I mention this to illustrate the level of service from Brassworks - knowledgable, at the promised time, and when theyre done, well - it just works.After several months use I can say we are extremely pleased with our gas fireplace and even more pleased with the service from Brassworks. Even small things such as individual hardware items are a pleasure to get from Brassworks because of the service that is knowledgable, compennt and delivered with a smile. I could mention the loaner drawpull they let me use until the part Id ordered came in, but I wont go on.Five stars!

We were told Brassworks has a great reputation but unfortunately we had a frustrating experience there with Rhonda. We walked in with some ideas about specialty hardware--I wanted to use cremone bolts on a set of french doors--but otherwise seeking their guidance for an almost gut renovation of an older home. Her early advice during the process of specifying the exterior doors ultimately turned out to be counterproductive, and she was surprisingly slow to follow up on basic questions. We got the sense that she was uninterested in our business, even though we came in for two hour 90 min discussions, brought (and repeatedly emailed) our plans and door/window schedules, and talked about all the materials we thought we would need from them. After 3 months of doing all the work we just stopped trying to create momentum and moved on.
