Great selection and the owner is very friendly. He has made it a point on several occasions to come say Hi and ask if there is anything in particular I am looking for.

We have shopped here a few times since moving nearby. The selections are very, very good, the prices cheaper than other liquor stores nearby. The staff is so friendly, helpful and knowledgable as well.

I usually do not change a rating, but the very fact that this business owner cares enough to ask what they can do to garner a 5 star rating tells me they really care about what their customers think.My first visit took place on Christmas Eve around 5:20 pm. My boyfriend and I were on route 95N heading to our friends house in Lincoln when we realized wed forgotten the champagne we had bought to bring to the dinner party. My guy knew of this store from driving by it during his work route.I ran in to pick up a bottle, and upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised. Ive never been in that area before and didnt know what to expect. The interior of the store is bright, shiny and pristine. The eye is immediately drawn to the wall behind the front counter. Sweet Mother Of Impressive!!! I didnt have time to check, but I am pretty sure they have every top-shelf champagne and liquor possible. The selection of spirits is impressive, and the wines go on for days. Im fairly certain one could find exactly what theyre looking for at this store.Anyway, I chose a bottle of champagne from the refrigerated case (very reasonably priced for the size bottle too, I must add) then headed to the register. The store was fairly busy, three registers were open and the checkout process was quick and friendly. The young woman that was at the till was very pleasant (and adorably dressed as an elf). I do believe the owner was out on the floor helping shoppers. I am assuming the dapper young gentleman I saw helping shoppers was the owner. At any rate, the gentleman was very pleasant and I left with an excellent first impression.Overall, my visit, although brief, was successful and I walked out with my purchase and a smile on my face. I even remarked to my guy how very nice the folks were and how nice the store is.So, to answer the question of what they can do to gain the 5th star... Id say that upon review, yall earned it from the start. The only thing you could do beyond that would be to open a Suburban Wine & Spirits in the Warwick area so I could shop with you more often.Thanks for a great shopping experience!

The best liquor store in the North End of Providence. Great selection and good prices. The store representatives are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Clean and neat but selection isnt as big as youd expect for a place called world of wines.The prices are not discounted - theyre on the high side, comparable to a neighborhood convenience liquor store in the city.

World of wines is a great liquor store located conveniently off the highway. They have a huge selection to choose from at great prices. They have been under new ownership for a while now and the store is a lot better.
