Ive grown up since high school putting my own systems in my vehicles and Ive never had little low and systems today the systems are quite complicated amazing hot so the vehicles now to take them all and run wires under the doors and whatnot is very complicated backup cameras and whatnot I got my truck with 6 speakers 800 watts backup camera the job they didnt was Flawless and I was there for like the last hour and a half of the work just running the wires was insanely amazing and Im familiar with this stuff but I would have probably not then have to think of these guys did Class Act and I know quite a few people that got their systems done there very pleased highly recommend

Just moved here from South Carolina. Bought a Jeep and had the radio switched out for a Kenwood. The installer in South Carolina incorrectly wired the nav guidance therefore not providing the voice prompts. Called my installer and he told me to take it to Stereo Shop of Port Charlotte and they would take care of it.When I arrived they told what could be the problem. They could have said the radio was bad, broken or whatever but they had it fixed quickly. Told me they would take care of any charges with the original installer.Nice to have a business that is honest.Read the other reviews but for me Stereo Shop of Port Charlotte will be the only place for my car and (eventually) boat electronics!Thanks!!!!

I have been twice. The first time I was completely ignored for the first 15 minutes. Then was treated rudely like I was interrupting his day. I had cash in hand ready to buy a $ 125 LOC..The 2nd time the PLACE had a strong chemical smell. AVOID this place😡

First of all, the name Bob Sharky is an inside joke I share with one of my best friends of 35+ years. My real name is Derek. I was involved in a terrible automobile accident on 6-12-14. I was airlifted to St. Petersburg, which would become my new home for the next 5 weeks. I broke my back in 2 places, broke 7 ribs, shattered my pelvis, and had some pretty nasty wounds on my left leg and foot. I also had kidney failure from the blunt force trauma of hitting a truck then a pine tree at somewhere around 60 mph. Dialysis for 4 months, wherlchair and walker for over a year.By now you are probably wondering what any of this has to do with Soundworkz! Well, on 5-31-17 I bought a vehicle, almost 3 years exactly from the date of the wreck. I didnt know if I would be able to walk normally, much less drive! I saved up and bought an SUV that I absolutely love, no payments to boot. All I needed now was an awesome sound system to complete my dream of one day driving the vehicle I had spent the last 3 years dreaming about. I stopped by the shop on a whim, it was well after 6 and they were locking up. But as soon as I started to tell Sean my idea of what i wanted to do, he opened the showroom back up and spent the next hour talking to me. I really didnt know exactly what I wanted because I had no idea what was available to me. Well by 7 I had pretty much told him what I wanted to spend and what I was looking for soundwise. I gave him a deposit, and made an appointment to bring my truck in Tuesday a.m. So I had 5 days to second guess myself. Maybe I should have shopped around more, etc. Well I dropped it off at 9 an Tuesday, and at around 5 they told me it was ready. When i started driving home, I was amazed at the sound quality! The install was top notch, everything tucked away neatly, it not only sounded good it looked good! And to top it off, he is hooking up my Viper alarm for free. I just met him last week, but he has totally gone out of his way to answer my silly questions, and do extra work without charging me anything. I know every situation is different, but this is what I experienced. I have already recommended Sound Workz to a couple of buddies, and he is definitely getting all my business from now on. The job Sean and his guys did for me was top notch, and totally exceeded my expectations. Thanks a lot dude!
