If you are looking for a card shop with an owner who cuts you off in mid conversation and doesn’t care about the customer. You’ve came to the right place. This lady owner that works there is rude. Doesn’t give her customers the time of day and just brushes everyone off. I’ve stopped in here a few times to check out cards and acknowledged the way she talks to her customers. If you are looking for a friendly welcoming card shop I would hit up Uncanny or the shop in the Crystal Mall. I thought customers are suppose to feel welcomed? Pretty sad. This place definitely needs a change of energy.
Absolutely amazing what a jewel of a store. I am not much of a comic book geek but the girl Im seeing is and Im sure Im going to be spending a lot of time in here trying to find some rare obscure comics. They also have lots of figurines and other things. Dont Forget to check out the coffee shop next door. Andrew and the barista make the best damn coffee youve ever had custom roasted in shop. Coffee and comics what more could you want.
Wonderland Comics contains highly friendly staff whom are knowledgeable of the products they sell. Not to mention the stores vast quantity and variety of products: TCG cards, board and table top games, comic books, miniatures, supplies for customizing said miniatures, collectables, art supplies and much more. All in all professional and well kept, with a vast, on-point, variety.
Very well stocked with comic books and other comic merchandise. There is little in the way of table-top rpg supplies, but thats no problem if you just want comics and comic related merchandise.
Awesome shop. I drove all the way from Worcester, MA to check it out and wasnt disappointed.They have slabs, figures, great wall books and more.Amazing deals. Customer Loyalty Program. $1 Books during Spring Cleaning Sale. Comic Collectors Dream.

I went to this comic book store in the end of July after my eye exam and I love it and the woman who worked in the store was super friendly and she was a big help of what I was looking for and she did help me out of buying that comic book Scooby Doo and Spider-Man!!!

Regardless of it being the only comic store in the area, it is truly a fantastic store. I could be wrong, but I feel there is something for everyone and the staff is incredibly insightful and helpful.
There is lots of dust under the comic racks and on some of their memorabilia. The owners really need to be more considerate and dust more. It’s more important now more than ever because of covid. Prices are high and the owner is not very friendly.

Wonderland Comics is a wondrous place to visit if you are a sci fi fan or just love comics! If they dont have it they will get it for you!!! The owner and his wife are the sweetest nicest of people you could ever meet!!

My wife went to get some new release Pokemon products for our kids. They were selling Galar First Partner pack for $56 plus tax...which retails for $9.99. I can understand supporting a local shop during a pandemic, but even scalpers on ebay are only charging $20 for these packs. Almost 6 times msrp is taking advantage of consumers. Luckily we were able to find the same packs at target for retail pricing. I could see maybe charging $15 or even $20 to match ebay, but 6 times retail is insane! Would not recommend shopping here unless you want to be taken advantage of!

Hands-down the best comic shop in Connecticut. Huge selection of new and gold/silver era comics, collectibles and toys, plush, games and gaming areas and more. It sucks that they’re closed right now but they’re you can order for pick-up or ship if you know what you want.

Was in ct today checking out some flea markets. Our 2nd stop was Putnam and I forgot about this gem. After I was walking thru the flea market/antique shop I had some spare time to check out wonderland. I loved this shop Im always looking die a local comic shop in the area and ct has some amazing shops. Ill be back to take my time and explore more another time. Maybe when free comic book day in may comes.
A good place to find the books your looking for. I was able to browse in a relaxing atmosphere and was able to find titles I want looking for but needed to have.And when I couldnt find a back issue, they were super helpful and found it for me.Great place.
I have been here multiple times and each time I have had a wonderful experience. The staff there is nice and knows what they are talking about and the owner of the store is extremely helpful and nice. They have great amounts of comics and some manga. The DnD supplies there is plentiful. This place is the best comic book store I have ever been too.
Moved to CT in June of this year. Excited to revisit wonderland comics - formally a litteral hole in the wall comic shop. To my surprise it had been bought out and transformed into a larger version of itself. Thats where the positives end. Gave this store two chances because I wanted to support my new LGS and not big box stores (walmart/target). First strike - i decide to go and buy both singles and sealed. Singles i grabbed were all from a 15 cards for 10 dollar box, I grabbed 100 dollars worth and grabbed about 50 dollars in sealed. I ask if I could get 10%off of the purchase and the owner rudley conveys to me that because the box is all she had left that she wouldnt be able to do it. I shrugged my shoulders and went on my way all I can do is ask, right? The second strike was today! I previously gave this store my information for a product pre release and was informed that I would be contacted upon arrival of said product. Store opens at twelve, no contact made from store. I give it till 4 and call, concerned that I may have been forgotten about. Clerk answers the phone and says yeah your box is here. I inquire about why I had given him info to contact if they were not intending on using it. He then explained that they were busy. lets be honest here. In all of my visits from June to now, IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC, this store has not seen more than 5 people at any given time. So excuses are made to cover for lazyness.I am so disappointed in this stores lack of ability to make a customer feel appreciated and want to come back to do more business. They have lost a very faithful whale. Do not recommend if you are looking for customer validation all the want here is your money. Bottome line. Find somewhere else in 2020 for your mtg and comic book needs.
I went to this store to check out their miniatures. I had played war hammer 40k when I was younger and still had my collection saved at home. To my shock I found that they had some of my old miniatures. They said that they had been donated by a man, who wouldnt accept payment . We have had work done on our home and found that my collectibles had been stolen, and here they were, well some of them. I was able to prove that they were mine to the woman working at the time by showing her some remaining models. she promptly let me take what was left at the store and told me that she had the majority of my collection at her home with her husband, the other owner. They said they would collect them and return them. After not hearing back from them for some time we returned only to find that their story had changed and they said they did not have the collection.The bottom line is that this store took in my stolen goods, sold many of them, and lied about it. I would caution anyone in working with them.
A great shop all around. The latest comics, great key issues dating back to the silver age, and a huge amount of back issues. Plus, an excellent table top gaming area and a place for Magic. Figures, statues, Funko, and more!
Wonderful selection of comics and collectables, including new and vintage items. Store has a large, open floor plan, it has a kid/family friendly atmosphere, friendly, accommodating staff, and dedicated owners who will go the extra mile to help you find what youre looking for. Prices are fair, if not a bit on the high side. However, all merchandise is well organized, and kept in pristine condition, so you get what you pay for... and there are plenty of great deals to be found, as well as regularly occurring store sales. All in all, a very well established and maintained comic shop.
By far one of my favorite places ever. Its not overwhelming crowded with shelves, boxes, tables, ect like a lot of places Ive visited which makes it comfortable to be in, everything has a wonderful flow to it. Also the friendliest of staff. Im not one to chat about my next game session but I spent a good hour discussing terrain which lead to me picking up one of the terrain crates (if thats not good subtle salesmanship either idk anything about retail, and I studied that in college!!)

Went to buy d&d items. The Gent behind the counter explained to me which items I didnt need, which saved me some money while making sure I will be back to purchase more.
Nice open space and inviting store. Lots of new comics and games. Large selection of Star Wars figures. Good selection of comic book and magazine back issues. Also boasts an impressive collection of vinyl records. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to open bags at the counter to check condition before purchase on expensive books. Only thing to be careful about is some back issues priced at NM when condition was not close to NM. Some back issue bins were not kept full enough, so comics slumped causing spine stress.
Staff was very helpful and even suggested some great titles for my dauggter.
Great store for comics and games but bad new owners. The woman who owns this place with her husband has been consistently rude/sassy across multiple visits and purchases. Go here for singles and comics not the environment.
Eclectic and unique, this place is a hidden gem in town. If you like comics, D&D, Magic the Gathering or any other table top game, this place is for you. If they dont have the game youre looking for, they can get it too. Definitely a fun place to hang out with some friends for Friday Night Magic.
Awesome staff, great selections at reasonable prices. Sure you can get a few things a little cheaper on Amazon but youre paying for convince and providing for our local stores.
As soon I walked through the door ... I knew that I would like it.To my astounding surprise, I have found certain past back issues of comics I didnt think I could ever find....even with an online search. I also found the friendly associates staff very helpful . They even had given me a couple of extra comics complimentary. Now I know that this is the only place I will go!.

Don’t bring your children here... what a horrible experience. It appears there is a pattern of rudeness and disrespect from “the girl who works there” who may be the new owner. My children and I experienced it first hand.The two guys at the register looked at us when we walked in but didn’t say hi. When we walked up to the cash register, they continued talking rather than ask if they could help us or if we were all set. One guy was new but the second guy with the nose ring just seemed unfriendly.I asked the two guys about the discounts for back issues and the nose ring guy just pointed to a sign... and didn’t speak a word. Then when we went to check out, a female, mostly likely the same rude girl who has been referenced in previous posts, told us something different than what the sign stated.She was clearly wrong as the sign didn’t state what she was saying. She couldn’t answer my simple questions, admit the sign isn’t clear, or that certain back issues are not discounted are and were not labeled properly so the customers know ahead of time.After we left the business, my children said, isn’t that false advertising? Even two small children could understand that the sign wasnt accurate and the rude girl wasn’t making sense.The best thing would have been to acknowledge the ambiguity of the sign, the lack of labels for certain comics that are not discounted, and just discount the comic book rather than be condescending and rude. You never know what customer you may be turning away or how much money they may spend at your company over the long haul. But some people just don’t care and that’s one reason their businesses fail.If you run a small business, you should be trying your best to get repeat business from your customers, not drive a family with small children out of the store, who were also going to spend the money they earned at your business.We will never go there again or recommend this store. What is the price of that? It’s a simple concept some business owners just don’t get!
Place looks awesome makes me feel like a kid again, but wow the people in the old store were real nice regular people, now its just people who dont even care and drive people away, legit the rudest girl ever at the counter so i had to leave.
My husband dropped off his comic book collection looking to sell. We waited for weeks to hear anything. We finally heard back this week and they wanted to offer my husband $400. The portion of his collection numbered 1000 comics, some of them worth double (or even more) their offering price. I understand that they must offer less to make a profit, but an offer of $400 means they are either lazy or dishonest (maybe both).The woman my husband dealt with claims to be an owner. She was very unpleasant (which is her usual demeanor because hes dealt with her before) and was not gentle with handling the boxes of valuable comics when turning them back over.My advice: Go north to Thats Entertainment in Worcester. They are pleasant, professional, and respect the comic book.
This store is beautiful, spacious, staff are AWESOMETACULAR!!!!! This store had THE BEST SALE for Free Comic Book Day(wont spoil, go next year & see for yoself!!!😘). Needless to say, it made for THE BEST Free Comic Book Day-EVER. Thank you staff, thanks for this phenomenal store!!!
