This store is huge! Lots of wonderful seasonal goods, old standbys for crafting, fabric and notions and more. They even have crafting kits for kids.I found helpful employees, including one who personally helped me find what I was looking for today. Really nice!This store is in a strip mall that also features a grocery store and other stores for daily living needs, which is great because you can run in here without feeling like youre going way off the beaten track to buy something silly like pompoms or glitter glue. Love it!

I went for a particular type of yarn and they didnt have it. I was wondering if they were going out of business?? The walls were bare, and fabric seamed to be more consolidated. I loved the previous store New York Fabrics, before JoAnn took over years ago. I lived in California, the East San Francisco Bay area. It was a sewers dream, without having to go into San Francisco to get higher quality satins, silk, brocades for more variety, quality and elegance of my creations. Where are those days that the home sewer feels rewarded for her efforts with higher tastes and elegance? Im a seamstress, hat maker, needle arts, quilter, crafty woman who desires higher quality products. Tell me...Where are we to go to be satisfied?

We went for the military discount today, and they wouldnt give it. I see now that sale items arent included, but they said Cricut was excluded, too. Thats not in the ad. They told my daughter they didnt have Cricut, but we found it ourselves. They do have a lot of fabric, but we wont be going back.

Did not have what I went in for. It showed online they had gray & other colors Fake Fur. Online showed they had a variety of Lego mini head storage containers. Also price was higher in the store at they were $1.00 more. I said something and had to prove what I said was true. They adjusted the price.

Nothing is more frustrating than coming hone and discovering you are short on fabric. It is a lovely tropical Print perfect for my patio theme. Excellent service from Parker! She managed to find what was left at a different location and now I’m delighted to complete my project. Thank you Parker! You rock!!!

I always have questions about my sub-par sewing/crafting projects, and the people there are SO willing and happy to help. No question is too dumb, and I appreciate that. Plus their selection is great, and the app had GREAT coupons, always. So worth the space in my phone memory.

Always big line only one register open

Store Manager Betsy instructs me to buy online so I can pickup In-store. Order went through, money taken out of bank. Then order is cancelled for reasons know one can explain and store holds over $400 for 3 days. Completely unorganized and incompetent. Making promises they cannot keep only to get your money locked up in their system. No security in online order/ store pickup. Reached out to customer service early morning the next business day, never received a response for my voicemail or email after a weeks time. If you can find anywhere else to get what you need, I highly recommend doing so.

The staff here was incredibly rude and unhelpful. The store was dirty and the selection was moderate at best.

I have a lot of projects that I am working on and I can find nearly everything I need at JoAnn Fabrics. They did re organize the store recently, so it may take a trip or two to get the new layout and figure out where to find things.

Great store with lots of selection and new hobbies to get hooked on. The only reason I gave four stars is because it was a little hard to find associates for help getting merchandise or for asking questions. I do think this was manly due to it being a more busy day and they were helping other customers. I definitely don’t hold it against them and will be going back to this location for sure.

Apparently the number at the fabric counter dont matter at the Puyallup Meridian Ave stor. Those waiting in queue with numbers are bypassed to accommodate regular customers of Joann. Will take business to Hobby Lobby next time.

Workers are pretty friendly and helpful most the time.. The biggest downfall in my opinion is they never seem to be fully stocked with everything. Like the swarsakoki crystals are almost never in stock and the shelf remains bare for like more than a month now!

I do costuming as well as daily apparel. Joanns is one of my first places to shop for fabric! I wanted to see the colors for Belles skirt rather than chance online ordering- Joanns supplied all my tulle.

The fabric section was messy and unorganized. This use to be my favorite place to fabric shop. Unfortunately I may have to find somewhere else that is clean and organized. The staff are very helpful and kind. I will give them that.

Anytime I need material, accessories, yarn or accessories I go to Jo-Ann Fabrics. If they dont have it they can order it for me. I highly recommend these stores for anyone doing crafts.

Very large selection of a vast array of fabrics. Small selection of sewing machines. Cannot comment on craft items not related to sewing. Staffing levels at times seems low.

What did you love about this place, the app asks. If youre a crafter, whats not to love? I got beads AND fabric. They have so many options you have to learn to edit yourself. Well I do anyway.

I found other items I wanted on my way to the fabric area. I asked a young lady where I might find fleece with a specific theme. She pointed me in the right direction and advised that I grab a number for the cutting area. The timing couldnt have been better. Just as I decided which fleece to go with I heard my number called and walked over to have it cut. I conferred with the person about my project and with her assistance was able to figure out how many yards were necessary. I know my grandson will be very happy with the quilt I make him. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I like this location and have always had a good experience when shopping. I highly recommend it to anyone in the Puyallup area.

Big store with a great selection. The line to checkout was 10 minutes with 2 cashiers and about 10 people in line. The bathroom requires a key which was hard for staff to track down.

Disappointing online ordering and pick up process. Didnt realize it takes them 1 - 2 business days to process an online order, especially when I know the item is in stock! Went to pick up my item, stood in a long checkout line, they said i needed to take it back to the fabric counter, and so i needed to wait in yet another long, slow line, and then go back to the cashier and stand in line AGAIN. What should have taken 5-10 minutes ends up taking 35 - 40. Ridiculous. Will never again order online again.

I am pretty much done with Joanns. I get the COVID 19 has made a lot of impact they have no control over. What they DO have control over, is the coupons they keep sending out! I get a coupon, i go online to try to use it. I find things I want - go to check out and find my coupon is only good for in store and pick up items only. I find out none of the items I want to purchase are available online or for pick up. SO, i then decide that i may want these things anyway WITHOUT the coupons, only to find out that now Joanns wants to CHARGE me for the delivery!! Forget it - i will take my business elsewhere!

It was good. They had what they needed. HOWEVER.... I know it was lunch time, BUT they should have had more than three people working. The line to get fabric cut was at least 45 minutes. THEN, the ONE and ONLY person T the cut counter had so much fabric on the counter the poor employee had to move it out of the way. She filled up one of the rolling carts two layers high and still didnt manage to get it all off the counter. The only and only lady that was cutting fabric at that point was still pleasant. She was a bit older than the other two girls.I know I am going to have second, and maybe third thoughts before I go back there again.

I just learned about the online deals that apply on top of the app. I cant wait to begin using them. I think with extra coupons they just might be the best priced craft store in the area!! I am very impressed. Also, their staff is always so incredibly helpful and nice. If you miss a deal, they will find you the savings. Stellar customer service. :)

The managers in their infinite wisdom has decided to offer curbside pickup due to the virus going on. Unfortunately they literally mean curbside pickup. Instead of reserving cert ain parking spaces that are less than 30 ft away from the curb they have decided to inconvenience everyone and create a dangerous driving situation inside of their parking lot by reducing what was supposed to be two lanes for traffic to flow through down to one lane. It makes navigating the parking lot that much more difficult and limits the ability to see pedestrians on foot crossing the road.

The clerks are always friendly and even though their shelves are low in some departments they always try to help you find what you need. I especially love the coupons on their app and the clearance area in the fabric department.

I love Joanna cuz its close and the people there are very helpful. Ive been shopping there for 30+ years.

Who doesnt love Joanns? At this location the employees are super friendly and helpful. They always ask what you are working on and really seem to show genuine interest in your projects. They often will give me advice or tips to help me with my project.

The store is “open” until 4 but they stop taking customers at 3:45. With hours being limited, the posted “open” hours should be accurate. They refuse to let me in, and they were very rude about it. This is not the customer service I’ve come to expect from the store. I will not return.

I met the nicest at the cutting table. They were not busy. She spent about 20min helping me work on my wedding veil. We picked out the lace. She gave me ideas. She also kept me from making several new girl mistakes. Sometimes this Joanns is super busy, but the people are always helpful.

What a wonderful place. I am not a craftsy person so I wasnt sure what I needed. The ladies at the front desk direct me to exactly what I needed and a couple of things I didnt know that I needed. The selection in the store is outstanding. I would recommend the store to anyone.

They have TONS of different prints and materials at this store. Evidently it matters when you come in because Ive seen some complaints about the long lines but didnt have that experience at all. The employees were super nice and helpful with a novice like me, explained several ways for me to do my project and gave me coupons to save money to boot! Some aisles are a bit cramped for wheelchairs but the overall experience was worth it. They have home decor items for any taste or style. Really nice store. They place is starting to get too difficult to navigate with a wheelchair let alone their own scooter because of all the middle isle displays and carts. Its the worst around the yarn section. Its been cutting down on my trips in.

Was picking up yarn for gifts. There Supply was very low. Wasnt enough skeins of same color. Ended on line and it took two weeks to get. Thats enough time for two blankets.Now have 6to make by Xmas. Not going to happen. Will consider going elsewhere next project.

I ordered fabric on-line for pickup on April 18th. As of April 25th I had not received an email letting me know my order was ready. I called the South Hill location and was told my order should be ready soon. Today I received notification that my order was canceled. Called the store and was told they had 2 bolts of the fabric I ordered. I checked the hours on line and shows the store open until 9:00 pm. Arrived at the store at 4:30 to find they closed at 4:00 pm. I am so disappointed. This is no way to treat customers.

Almost always a line for both cutting table and cashier. Store is very messy, piles and boxes of merchandise clogging up the aisles. Hard to find correct price of items. Tacoma store is much better managed, I try to go to the Tacoma store whenever possible.

Went in an hour before closing. I found a nice selection of fabrics for my current project. Then went on to find notions that I needed to finish my Roman shades. Very pleased with the selection and the service. Yes Ill visit this store again.

Visited JOANN fabrics recently and found the perfect fabric to make a duvet cover for my sons comforter. They have every sort of color and prints you could possibly pick from. The ladies at the cut counter are sweet and helpful with answering questions and making recommendations. They always send out coupons via text to receive discounts.
