I go here a few times a week; it’s good and consistent and in a great location. The drip coffee is actually really good and at a reasonable price, for once!I wish they had some more breakfast options (omelettes maybe?), but that’s really a nitpick. Try the GT Special!

They make good smoothie, I got a breakfast sandwich two times and the meat tasted old like freezer burn.. The customer service could be a lot better the women in there always seem like they have an attitude with you, where the men seem nice 🙄

Great place, great people! One of the hidden gems in Quincy. I find it best for breakfast meal. But it is just a great place to go to relax, read a book or study with a cup of coffee.

Dropped by Gunther Tooties for the first time in a long time. I was searching for a place for bagles and its slim pickings for a place that isnt a dunks. My wife and I each got our own breakfast sandwich, mine on the works (everything) and hers on an egg bagel. Mine was Excellent - fresh and soft, with a hot egg and melty cheese. My wife complained the her bagle was hard which is definitely not how an egg bagel should be. Likely it was left over from the day before. That was a bit disappointing, but I would generally recommend Gunther Tooties bagels. I would still go back to give them another chance.

If you love flavored ice coffees and fresh pastries and a large bagel selection this is the place for you! Its a low key Starbucks vibe and a hole in the wall cafe but so worth it! The Jamaican Me Crazy ice coffee is my go-to! So bomb! They have a station by the door where you can add milk/creamer, sugar etc.... They even have chocolate, nutmeg, and cinnamon powders to put on top of your coffee. I have tried the Danish, apple turnover, and several of their bagels and everything is delicious and fresh. They also offer salads, sandwiches, and fresh fruit cups. They have a great quick friendly staff and I love coming here. Its located on Hancock st across from the Galleria and Quincy College, 2mins walking from the Quincy Center T.

Hole-in-the-wall cafe located in Quincy Center (very close to the T). There was a giant poster advertising a rainbow bagel when I walked by, so of course I had to stop in and try one!Unfortunately, it didnt live up to the hype. The bagel was dry and kind of tough - didnt taste fresh. I asked for it to be toasted, but it only came kind of warm. They were also stingy on the cream cheese (although the strawberry cream cheese had actual strawberries in it, which was kind of cool!).The vibe was kind of like Dunkin meets diner. You could sit down at one of the tables and use their free wifi to get some work done. There was a group of people in their mid-50s listening to Adam Sandlers SNL version of Hannukah on full blast. But if I truly wanted a place to get some work done, I would probably choose neighboring Starbucks or the Thomas Crane Library within a 5 minute walk.

I went to this coffee shop for the first time and did not regret it. Great service, great coffee. Its a pity that I live on the other side of the city, I could have stopped by more often.

So sad what happened here. I meet my father who is a senior citizen every two weeks here for a coffee and a breakfast. He got the date wrong of when I was meeting him this week and while waiting for me he got kicked out and accused of being a homless person who was trying to stay warm. I understand Quincy center doesnt exactly have the most savory of people hanging around there but treating a senior citizen like that is completely unacceptable. His feelings were extremely hurt. My father is a kind man who is hard of hearing. Shame on the staff! I

This place is lovely! When I moved into the building by the MBTA station, I knew there was a Starbucks, but theres not a lot of their drinks I like, and their food isnt very good. So surprise that this place is fantastic! Sometimes I go with a hot latte or cappuccino with whole milk, which is fabulous and not burnt in the slightest like other places do it. Lately its been iced Americanos which are strong and good value.The bagels are all fantastic- I usually have a works, onion, or salt bagel with lite chive cream cheese or plain. If I want something more substantial I get the bacon egg and cheese on a works bagel, that gets me through morning classes. If Im dropping by to pick up lunch I choose the Athenian salad- think a Greek salad with a ton of nice rotisserie chicken in it to provide some protein.Altogether wonderful. They know my order now, or at least weeks when Im consistent. The line moves quickly even if its crowded, probably havent spent more than 10 minutes from entering until leaving.

One of our favorite spots in Quincy, particularly for breakfast. Their wide selection of bagels offers something new to try each time we visit.

Nicely located in downtown Quincy center. I usually get the grilled shrimp caesar salad, and its always very good! Great variety of smoothies too!

Over the years this place has gone WAY downhill with customer service. The last couple of times I was in there the crew has been a mess with handling orders. I constantly witness customers complaining about the wait ( me being one of them ) for a simple coffee, down to their ability to take an order right. I tried giving them one last chance and placed an order for pick up and I still spent an overall 20 minutes for the person in front of me to have their order taken. Its over priced food with extremely poor customer service.

I absolutely love their smoothies! I’ve recently fallen in love with their avocado smoothie. Great place for a quiet, comfy lunch alone. Plus Quincy College Students get a student discount when they show their student Id with a current semester sticker.

Nice local coffee shop in Quincy center, convenient to the train station and Quincy college. Comfortable furniture and wifi. Bagel sandwiches are always a hit, great muffins (raspberry corn) and other clever combinations. Service can be a little slow but worth the wait. Lots of great coffee flavors and smoothies. Love the name too :)

Great sandwiches and good coffee. Cozy atmosphere right in downtown with easy access to the T. They make their own flavored cream cheeses and they have very good bagels. The service is good too. Highly recommend for a light breakfast or lunch

If I could give no stars I would. I’ve watched an employee at the Quincy location flirt with female customers just about every time I go in there. Mainly college girls. Very touchy feely too. Completely not appropriate.

Opened on Xmas Day with a special for their customers. Nice to accommodate Xmas breakfast /brunches for extended holiday Unwrapping. Bagels, cream cheese and coffee... Wonderfully freshly baked, moist and tasty.

First time here and can say the bagel was a good chewy comparison the a NYC bagel. Coffee was excellent and will be going back again.

One of my favorite area coffee shops. I love the atmosphere. Very comfortable and homey. Im an iced coffee drinker, and they have a great selection, even in the winter. Fresh bagels, cookies and muffins. The lunch menu is light and yummy. There is also free wifi, with 2 or 3 computers available. They make a delicious iced americano. Prices are good. The only problem is that if Quincy College is in session it gets very busy and crowded. And be aware that since the T station is under construction, it makes parking more difficult. Its also nice that during good weather there are a few tables outside.

We stopped here before our Adams tour. Super disappointed with the outcome. My egg sandwich was alright but super greasy. The rainbow bagels were hard as a rock. I felt awful for my kiddos. It wasnt eatable. Waste of money.

I cant begin to list all of the reasons why I love this place. So I wont, and just go. Ok one thing: if you go before close and try and get bagels, youll usually get a bunch for discounted.

Love the chai latte. Probably my favorite and go to spot in Quincy. Pretty clean place with great staff that are friendly as soon as you arrive.

Quick breakfast spot to pick up a bagel and coffee. Service/staff is friendly and the steak, egg, cheese on works is great on a cold morning. While the coffee is nice hot/cold temp, I have not found a coffee that jumps out at me with JMCrazy (seems spicier than caramel), Snicker (super bitter as it gets cooler), or even regular (ice had some grinds and lack oomph cold brew) that I prefer to do on my own.

Cute little coffee shop. Parking isnt easy and prices are higher than I think they should be, but they seem to stay busy so whatever works. They do have milk and milk like varieties, which is nice.

Great staff and bagel sandwiches. Theyre always liberal with the amount of cream cheese and have over a dozen types of fresh bagels to choose from. Additionally, their lunch options are amazing and choice of coffee and teas are top notch. Favorite is the Jamaican Me Crazy iced coffee flavor.

This place is not good. The chicken noodle soup tasted terribly and was basically all huge chunks of carrots, and celery. Barely any noodles or chicken. The sandwich was so poorly made. The service was mediocre, and the place and employees looked depressed. I shouldve just gone to Panera. Forgive me for not being able to share pictures, but I was just trying to get over how incredibly poor this experience was. Maybe I go back and give it a second try, but..sigh...I just cant see that happening.

Although I love their bagels, the past few times Ive been in its been pretty filthy. Coffee bar a mess, crumbs all over the floor and on every table. Staff just standing around. Still good bagels (spinoccoli is my fave) and sandwiches. I recommend choosing an espresso drink over the brewed coffee.

Good coffee

I used to go here frequently, and my girlfriend nearly everyday, but one day I noticed a solid object enter my mouth when I was drinking my coffee-- it was a piece of a small roach (water bug). Lifting the lid and looking into my coffee, I found the roachs head floating. My girlfriends coffee had a full bug floating in it. We received our money back and was offered a gift card(we refused to take the giftcard), but I dont think well be going back anymore.

Horrible service.I love walking up to the register in a quality bagel place like GTs and in instead of being acknowledged at all by the employee standing at the register I have to wait until he and the only other employee there behind him are done yelling at each other in Chinese. The food and coffee are decent, but this place is comically bad at getting your order right. Every time Im here I see them calling out orders that nobody ordered. They dont seem to have a very good grasp of what the things on the menu are called. Ive ordered a salad that has one name on the menu and they stand there for five minutes shouting out some other u recognizable name thats not even on the menu.They also have some issues finding appropriate music. One day its innocuous pop, the next 90s gangsta rap, the next its that worst kind of country music.

Stopped in for a quick smoothie while I waited for a friend. Their strawberry-banana smoothie is quite delicious. On the other hand the staff had me wait for a few minutes before anyone attended to me (it was not busy at all). Also they say they have wifi, but it doesnt work. When another of their customers seeked assistance, no one came to the counter to help her with making a phone call, so I ended letting her use my phone to make a call. Their attentiveness to their customers really needs improvement.
