Ive had several vehicles over the years, and Shawn has installed all their electronics. He has done everything from simple remote start/keyless entry/security systems to my latest project of designing a full HD Audio system for my new car and integrating that with a new remote start and full security system. He explains to you what parts you need, and why. His installs are very clean and professional. I personally would not trust any other shop in town.

Recently had our company auto here to replace the radio. First off they installed it the same day it was bought and with no appointment before hand. On another visit they spent a great deal of time on finding a solution to a issue I was having with the remote start, again a system that was installed under old owners, yet these guys still fixed it and free of charge. I cant say enough about this place, Im not much of a high tech radio guy at my age anymore, but if your looking for anything from cd players to remote start systems, to amps and window tinting, these are your guys trust me. I recently learned that Shawn Rice of Mobiletec Audio now is the new owner of Armadillon Audio! This was probably the best news ever especially since he had done such a wonderful job when he worked at Best Buy. Since my original install I had a loose wire to my speakers in the back of my car. I was so worried I thought I would have to replace speakers-- they kept going in and out. NOPE! I was so pleased because even in a busy day (with transitioning to a new business perhaps) with all the installs; he did take five minutes or so out of his day to help me replace the wire that was missing. He was so accommodating for me last minute. I wouldve been so sad to keep driving around with only half of my speakers working! It is so reassuring to know that I can count on someone to help me with my audio needs and knowing that he truly cares about the product he produces for his customers.THANK YOU to Shawn Rice at Armadillon Audio!

Superhero of everything audio. And King Kong of knowlegde .Put them-together and you get Shawn Rice. This is car #2 that he’s done for us. My daughter who is 16 wanted something simple (nothing like what he did on the first car). Something that sounded amazing but didn’t beat her to death. The install is amazing very professional, clean and you can tell he pays attention to detail. He let us know his concerns and made suggestions. Then he took the time to show my daughter the how to’s and the do ‘s and don’ts of the system. He also answered all of her questions . And did in a way that she understood. I am an audiophile enthusiast who loves his music and I have been to all the car audio shops from Chicago to Quincy and have found shawn to be the most involved installer I have seen. He is passionate about his customers experience and provides intense attention to detail. He wont cut corners to save time and will make sure you totally understand how to operate what ever you had installed. He will even make sure you understand what youre buying before youre buying it. I learned through talking with him that he has 25 years experience in his field with electrical engineering college background. That would explain how he is able to break things down so well in explaining the operations of the industry, because he understands how it works on molecular structure. He even has awards from when he worked at BestBuy as a master technician. They awarded him Top Gun best of BestBuy in installation and customer service two years in a row. He even has this huge 6 trophy from when he took 2nd place at world finals in car audio competition. He knows his stuff and Im glad to have found him. I work in Chicago as a professional driver and will drive all the way to Quincy to only have him work on my car. I only wish he was closer.
