Rodney and Steve are great guys who have great costumer service skills and are extremely nice. I really cant say the same for the woman who works there (forgot her name) I dont know if she was having a bad day or what.

The owners of SSM Are some of the most helpful and kindest people I’ve ever met. I don’t shop on Amazon for musical equipment (strings, picks, guitars, capos, tuners, drum heads, drum sticks) because prices at SSM are good and I truly enjoy the experience of going inside the store and browsing, trying out guitars, new gear, ect., they always make you feel welcome to trying out instruments and most of all, valued as a customer. Please, support your local music store folks.

Owners wife is chasing off parking in front of store. Besides the fact they are rarely open I dont see myself ever paying this much when so many other options exist. Not worth the effort. Edit. I most certainly am not a vendor. Never will be a customer and I recommend others give you a miss as you just showed your hiney again. THIS IS WHAT YOU GET HERE

Go there, pick up a guitar, plunk out a few notes and enjoy the company of Rodney and Sheryl, and meet other musicians of all skill levels who frequent there. Pick up some strings and picks while you’re there, or some sticks, or a ukulele, or set yourself up with some lessons or a repair job! Whatever you need, they’ve got it covered.

Walked in and they replaced my cello strings in less than 10 minutes. Great service.

So before today I would of given the store 5 stars. My husband has been coming to your store for awhile and has bought 3 guitars and a couple of amps and all his accessories from you in the past 12 months all out right no layaway and no real deals even when stuff was found elsewhere better and cheaper he still choose this store because of the great service and great conversation. Today he went to pick up a guitar he had on layaway Andy because he was a day late SHE not Rodney changed the price and and was rude as hell. He didn’t try to make excuses he was shocked more that anything.. All the $$ he’s spent with you for you to just act and treat customers loyal customers like you do. News flash Everyday people have shot come up or forget things but for you to act like you did was wow. The sign you have up ibu the register about how much you pay for your customers to use credit/debit cards says it all about the kind of business women you are. By the keep the 75$ down payment you obviously need more than we do. Won’t be back

I have bought several new guitars here as well as strings, percussion instruments and a amp. They will let you play the instruments at will which makes for a comfortable atmosphere. If you order online, how can you try out the instruments first?? Plus Sheryl is cute lolPS They also carry books for school music programs and can order you stuff
