Co-businesses Phoenix Chocolates shop and Derangos Italian restaurant. Stopped in today to purchase chocolates as gifts. Masks required. We were greeted as we entered. Someone was ahead of us. We practiced social distancing and waited for our turn. They were busy with staff taking phone orders or customers picking up food from Derangos restaurant and handling chocolate orders. When it was our turn staff explained we could buy by box or bag and priced by the pound. I mixed my chocolate order 1/2 milk and 1/2 dark chocolates. Order a small box fairy/angel food. Large box chocolates with nuts and a large box with creams. Filled boxes rather than ordering by the pound. Picked a couple individual pieces and of course a peppermint candy cane. It was a wonderful experience. Please be patient if anyone is ordering or picking up ahead of of you. Will return again. Pleasant and friendly staff.

The first time we ordered here they forgot our bread. We let it slide because we really like their fish.Second time we ordered they nailed it.Then we ordered party pizza for our foster sons b day party. Spent $$$ on that.We just ordered again today and had to wait over 2 hours for delivery of our food. (called a couple times too with no apologies or??)Not only did it come COLD but the fish sandwich was MISSING the top BUN. WHY??? When we called to tell them it was missing we were PUT ON HOLD & then told that if we wanted, they would bring us another sandwich BUT of course wed have to wait and also give them BACK the sandwich that was missing half a BUN. SERIOUSLY? No apologies, No is there anything we can do to rectify this bad experience, NO Nothing!!!! SERIOUSLY??? 😠 Ummm your customer service just went out the window!!!!We have spent $150 at this place with 4 orders total in the last five weeks. We like their fish but not that much. I guess well go back to our old Hangout.Sorry your customer unconvinced you.

Ordered the pan pizza more than once. Perfect every time. The balance of sauce and cheese is just right. They understand that there is more crust with a pan pizza, thus you need more sauce. 👌Beautiful👌I’ve also had the Italian beef, chili and curds. It’s all good. And relatively affordable compared to other Italian places.

Order a TO GO order via Door Dash- pizza was okay. The fries and breaded mushrooms went right in the trash. The restaurant didn’t even put the fries and mushrooms in to go containers - sent them in cardboard boats you use for in restaurant dining - no tin foil or anything to secure the items. What restaurant does that on TO GO ORDERS? I called to speak to a manager and was told to call back later as they were “slammed” with chocolate orders. Don’t wait your time with this place as customer service is NOT NOT NOT a priority!!

The burgers are the unsung hero of this place, the pizza and chocolate are delicious as well but I can feed my family reasonably and we all LOVE it! Try the West Racine Burger! Or a delicious pan pizza, I still have yet to try a stuffed, but I will edit when that happens!

My coworkers and I put together gift baskets for our business partners with treats from local shops. Audrey and the wonderfulchocolatiers at DeRangos were so easy to work with! The boxes of chocolates were the perfect addition to our gift baskets! Thank you!

Had the Friday fish fry meal 8 piece cod. Cod was ok and extremely small pieces of cod. Tarter sauce not home made. Came in plastic peel off small cups. Cole slaw was good. Italian restaurants need to stick with their heritage food. Dont do fishfrys. I will never go to a derangos again.

Food is good and affordable but wait times are most usually longer than we are told to expect. Staff mask-wearing also needs work.

Had a milkshake there today for the first time.Way too much milk and hardly any ice cream! Hardly could taste the strawberry icecream.Need to use less milk and a little more strawberry ice cream. You may want to think about also using a little strawberry glaze, which you can buy or make it yourself, It would add some great flavor to the shake and thicken it up a little as well.Either way you need to add a little more Ice cream.

Placed order at 4:15 only to receive the order at 5:45 with missing items and cold food called and they wouldnt even resolve the issue so they got all the cold food back and I got my money back. Wish the outcome wouldve been better. Will NEVER order at this location again.

The pizza was great. Even more impressive was the woman on the phone taking orders. Wow! She was kind and personable, as well as friendly and professional. I really enjoyed placing the call (and thats saying a lot for someone who really dislikes talking on the phone). High five, thumbs up, A+, 5+ stars!

I can actually say that the service from the service person that I got Samantha was very quick she was very polite even though we had to wait a period of time for our food she kept us company and was a good hostess

One of the best pizza places in Racine.

We did not go in for Pizza. I needed to buy a pound of premium chocolate for as a gift. Simply entering the store makes you happy. The great smell, the friendly service, the honest and generous smiles on the faces and then last but not the least the chocolate options. You can get dark, mill, light, nutty, filled, pure, just about anything you need you chocolate with.

Absolutely delicious food! Great pizza and ice cream! Awesome staff! Beautifully kept restaurant with outdoor seating.they even have board games for you to use on your stay. Conveniently located by North Beach after a hot day out!

Visiting from California. I stopped by to try hand made chocolate here. Nice little restaurant. Looks family owned and operated. Get food, ice cream or chocolate.

Such a great family friendly atmosphere! The ladies that were working the counter are so friendly and helpful. Weve been there twice, first with all 5 of our kids and second with the baby and one of our boys. They went out of their way to help and make sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend visiting and eating the amazing food!

Had the Cod fish fry. The fish was good and tender, the batter was good but lacked salt. The mashed potatoes taste like they are instant potatoes, and lacked salt n butter and pepper. They had no taste.

This is our favorite local restaurant to order from, by far. The food is always excellent, it’s the best pizza in town. The customer service is always great, and we love that they sell chocolates and goodies, as well.

Today was my first time ordering from here, dont know what took me so long and I used to live 2 blocks away.But i have to say, the pizza is thee best Ive had in a looong time.Thr pan pizza I ordered was delicious, it was nice and cheesy topped with plenty of sausage, pepperoni and green peppers, plus it was flavorful. Even the sausage had a good flavor.It took a little longer than expected but the price and wait was so worth it. Youll have to just go try it for yourself.

Great cheese ravioli and great chocolate. So good youll return for more and probably get fatter.... eat the salad first and have a glass of water, then save half for tomorrow and stay trim. But have a little chocolate just because... yummo!

Came here for the Durangos pizza which is a great Racine classic. The pizza is delicious and affordable. The ice cream is reasonably priced and yummy. I didnt have the chocolate but my nephews loved it.

Worst customer service i have ever recieved from a pizza place. the Pizza average at best. After paying 40$ for a party pizza that was not ready when i came to get i was told ir would be another 20 min. which ended up being 35 min extra and they messed up thre order. No one apologized for the mess and the order was wrong. I dont leave reviews however i wouldnt spend 1 dollar here ever again.

Who knew you could get homemade chocolates in Racine??? Their creams are amazing and what a great place to get corporate Christmas gifts. I love this place! And now theyve added a full kitchen and they are serving Durangos Pizza! Dont miss it!

I love Phoenix Chocolate Shoppe especially at Christmastime when they offer their speciality confections. The hand pulled candy canes are awesome, in a variety of flavors. Their handmade chocolates great, nummy even.This is a DeRangos pizza and restaurant. It is actually the original location DeRangos opened in Racine, and the food is fantastic. To me its a neighborhood place, but they deliver as well. We use the delivery service often, even though we only live a block away.I love DeRangos food as well as their Phoenix Chocolate Shoppe confections.
