Great location next to Aurora Rehabilitation Center at WI-20 & Oakes rd. Only place I go out for coffee, and Im 23 miles away. Chef built & operated, the best coffee, quiche, and specialty menu. Owner & staff enhance the warm & friendly atmosphere. 5 Stars!

Love the grind. Everyone is so nice and I can call in my drink order and pick. That definitely sets them apart from most cafes.

I went in on 12/27/2018 at 9:30 am to get breakfast and coffee with my wife. We waited somewhere between 5 to 10 minutes as the barista chatted with customers, so we left. Cant really give it a good review if we were refused service, now can we?

Great coffee (its a true coffee house), tea selection, paninis, bakery, and more. Owners really try to utilize local ingredients. We love the scones, which continue to surprise us with new exotic flavors. This place has a real mom and pop atmosphere making it easy to become a regular.

The Grind gives Mount Pleasant a good name despite its urban sprawl community plan. The panini sandwiches my wife and I had were made by a very friendly gentlemen--with a wild mane of hair all over his face and head--and they were very scrumptious. I think he was a hippie or something. But anyway, the real thing to try here is a thing called breakfast-in-a-cup. My mouth sent a message to my brain informing it that the breakfast-in-a-cup is easily one of the best smoothies its ever had. My brain trusts my mouth, so I have to agree. It runs around 5 bucks. The Grind is a pleasant and well managed addition to the community. It rocks.

The coffee was okay but not stellar. We came in at a slew time but the staff seemed very unhappy that we came. Could have been a bad day but still. Not bad if you are in the building and in bed of a coffee but I would go out of my way for it.

We ordered the Tuscanpanini thinking it had no pork but it did. The owners were VERY understanding and made us the Roma panini instead. Hands down one if the best cafe place in Racine.

Baristas werent friendly, looked bored, and seemed almost bothered by my question of what kind of scone was the one that didnt have a label. No hello, no smile, and barely a thank you when we paid.
