Needed a battery replacement in a short turnaround; Tracy and Ken at Big M service got me scheduled, repaired and out the door in a half hour! Cost was fair, staff were courteous, and the repair was done right the first time! A+ service.

I just wanted to say that even though I am quite late in doing this review due to some delays in having the opportunity to post I wanted to make certain I did post a review given we live in a world where people are quick to post the bad but rarely take the time to post praise. On April 27th I had some transmission issues with my 2014 GMC Sierra to which I thought my Extended Warranty I purchased at an unaffiliated dealership when I bought the truck in 2017 would cover. They were asking for multiple records of maintenance. I have maintained my vehicle but didnt have all of my records given we had recently moved and couldnt find the file and my glove box only has the most recent and recall records. Shout out to Kate and her managers for going above and beyond. Not only did she make calls to places that I said had done maintenance and her manager made a few calls to help as well. Kate not only was eventually able to get my repair covered but was able to get my vehicle repaired as a priority. Not only do I recommend Big M Chevrolet service and plan to use them going forward but when the time comes to look for a new vehicle, I know my first stop. Thank you Kate for going above and beyond instead of just telling me that I would need to track down the records or pay for the full repair.

I would not recommend Big M Chevrolet of Radcliff to anyone, especially not the service department. February of last year my car (2016 Chevrolet Malibu) was having issues: reduced speed where it wouldn’t go over 10 mph, it would shut off when I backed up, along with more issues. I addressed all of these issues when I turned the vehicle in. The service department had my car for over a month. The first week they told me they had it in the back and was working on it. That following week I needed something out of my trunk and went by the dealership to grab it. My car hadn’t even been worked on yet that was a lie told to me about it being worked on. I had a spare key so I decided to see if it would crank, it wouldn’t battery was dead. Fast forward three weeks later I get my car from the dealership. The total cost to get my car worked on was $4,916.00. All of my parts needed were below $900. The labor that I was charged was ridiculous ($3,000.00). Got my car back going in April. No sooner than I got my car the engine light was back on the car was shaking, when I backed up it still turned off. The stabilitrack service light came on, it would jerk when I pressed on the gas. I informed the dealership, the mechanic, Jason, said you have to tell us everything that’s going on because we don’t know what to look for. I’m thinking to myself yall are the mechanic not me. How you not know. Then I had to deploy, I was gone for four months. Got back to address the issues, they stated why you didn’t bring it back. I let them know I was TDY before deployment. The person I was speaking with was Kate since January 6, 2020. Today is February 20, 2020. During that time Kate told me all I needed was a new engine and that would fix all of my problems. The total cost was $7,000.00. GM paid $6,000 dealership paid $300 and I paid $700. I got my car back February 7, 2020. The battery was dead it wouldn’t start. The dealership had to jumpstart my car. I had my car for three hours and the engine light was back on. I took my car straight back to the dealership and was put right back into the loaner vehicle which Kate had told me she was gone report stolen and that she had other customers needing the vehicle. I stated to Kate that the issues I addressed were not attentioned to because my engine light was coming on for service that I wrote down to address. Kate told me the mechanics didn’t address any of the issues. They just replaced the engine and gave me my car back. This time they told me it needed a module $88 which they the dealership would pay for, and they stated it needed an AGM battery $265 that I would have to pay for. The dealership just let my car sit and let my battery die. A mechanic there told me the battery was bad because it was probably charged the wrong way. Only people who were charging my battery were the dealership. Evereytime I went back to them it was oh this is what you need. That was not the case. I contacted GM about my battery and they were no help either. The dealership told GM to tell me to bring them their vehicle because they were about to report it stolen while my vehicle was there. I contacted Kate yesterday and told her to put my battery back in the car because I wasn’t giving the dealership another penny. Kate informed me my battery had been gone for over a week and to come get my car and they take the $265 for the battery as a loss and we part ways. I couldn’t agree more, but I didn’t appreciate the fact was how I was cooperating with her and she made it her business to tell me I need to be there before 5:30 because that’s when she gets off, and telling me she got kids to feed and just hangs up in my face. I no longer want to do business with them. On top of all that the loaner vehicle they gave me to use had bad alignment and the windshield wipers would stop working on me in the rain. Big M and GM have stressed me to the fullest. I would not recommend them to anyone!

Hmm lets see .dont really stand behind what they say .when they say your vehicle has a full warranty an still under factory warranty.,make sure your not getting a bs extended warranty that is actually gonna cost you out of pocket money every time .if your impressed by them giving you a coupon book for oil changes an tire rotating an such, dont be., had oil changed oil only now, had coupon for oil change up to but not to exceed over $100 is what the fine print says. Cost me $70.00 with their bs coupon . Really buy a $50,000 vehicle an they gonna be shady about a oil change, REALLY GUYS, got good vehicles in stock but watch an be aware of the shady part of their business. Oh an fyi I dont go through them to finance either .
