Theyre the best CVS Ive ever been to. Getting my prescriptions here while I was in college was always smooth. I almost always went through the drive thru. There was rarely more than one car in front of us and it rarely took more than 15 minutes. When I needed to transfer my prescription to another CVS because I had moved, the pharmacists assistant did a great job explaining what needed to be done.
Cant even figure out how to use their own system and refuse to contact simple dose over a pill pack CVS OFFERS. Being made to go back and fourth between CVS and Simple dose when CVS doesnt pay me. They pay the techs who outright refuse to handle the situation. If youre on alot of medication and want it organized PLEASE go ANYWHERE else.
Unprofessional & negligent! My daughter got her flu vaccine there almost 2 yrs ago & it was almost a disaster due to their negligence because she was almost injected with the wrong vaccine. More recently, she received a $200 bill for the flu vaccine from a debt collection agency because, once again due to negligence, they did not bill her insurance.
This is the only pharmacy I frequently have to plan to spend an hour at in line just to get a single script thats been ready for days.
Saw all the bad reviews of this place and thought I’d give it a fair shot.. Avoid this particular pharmacy if at all possible. The Two dude pharmacists that work here I find both to be incredibly rude. THIS IS NOT FOOD SERVICE GUY’S... PEOPLE ACTUALLY NEED THEIR MEDICINE TO FUNCTION. I seriously don’t think the pharmacists that work here really understand that concept. Well.. my business here is done. I switched to the Food City Pharmacy and would encourage everyone to do so. They’re way faster, friendlier and just better.
I had a few pictures printed at CVS because I didn’t want to wait for shipping as I normally do; I wasted my money. The photos were taken with high quality cameras, but came out looking like I took them on a 10 year old cell phone. I am incredibly disappointed. Don’t wast your money, just use an online printing service.

I work in the hospice field. The staff at this CVS work very hard to fill prescriptions quickly for my patients, especially when there is an urgent need. They stay extremely busy, but are always patient and friendly on the phone. I highly recommend them.

The drive thru is a joke, I dont know if customers are wating for their RX to get filled a week in advance while waiting at the window, or the staff is sleeping or the customer is asleep or if I feel asleep. Honestly waiting behind 4 or 5 vehicles for 30 minutes or upwards before anyone moves is a little ridiculous. Most of the time you are better off having your RX sent via USPS.

Right now customer service needs to be at its finest! Having put in my date of birth prior to speaking to a customer service representative about filing a refill of my medication / I believe I was profiled by not having insurance thus waiting over 13 minutes to speak to a live adult / pharmacist about filling my prescription. Sad but they have a strong need in customer service education!
I had an appointment for 1230 I get there 1215 get seen around 1245 and they tell me after 10 mins of sitting and talking they can’t see me give a note or check me out since It was for abdominal pain. Waste of time and effort they should have had that mentioned before making the appointment and wasting my time
If I could rate this place a zero I would. No one is willing to hear out customers or go about helping you in the right way at all. Instead they put you down, gossip behind glass walls, and rudely speak in all ways that does not address the real problem. I’m never returning here again.
CVS should replace the staff with turtles, who I believe can fill prescriptions quicker.
The slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. It doesn’t matter what time you tell them to have the medicine ready because they’ll get it to you 3 hours after. They will watch you sit and wait for hours, but say they’re “so busy.” They have plenty of people working but none of them actually doing anything worth while.
The service and quality has gone downhill, plus, Im always getting a contrary attitude from some of the pharmacists and to top it off, I either get refills for prescriptions that are not really ready to be refilled and when there are things that do need refilling, I have to wait until they can refill it, even though I never get the right amount of insulin that they do give me that appropriates the time until I can refill it again.
Had my first experience with their Minute Clinic. Went for my flu shot, with a very pleasant nurse practitioner who is on-site 7 days a week. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Thank you for providing this service!
Unprofessional workers who also arent qualified to be employed at this location. Be ready to wait in the pharmacy drive thru for a minimum one hour.
Staff is extremely rude and disrespectful and beyond incompetent thr only reason I use them is my insurance prefers it so hopefully Ill have new insurance this year so I can go elsewhere dont go here unless you want to deal with disrespectful rude entitled snobs
Experience here was awful waited two hours for a prescription refill and still walked out with nothing. This has happened one than once. Ive been a CVS customer for over 15 years and Im so disappointed in them. I will no longer be getting my meds from them in Radford. Kroger is the place to go if your in a hurry to get the medication in Radford!
No one ever answers the phone. Medications sent a day a head of time are never ready when you arrive and slowest drive through window in the nrv.
They NEVER answer the phone! I’ve even had someone pick it up & hang up immediately the other day. Extremely annoying
Terrible service. Most of the employees in the pharmacy are rude and they NEVER pick up the phone. I have gone almost a week without medicine that I need to take daily and have gone through serious withdrawals because of this store’s awful service. I’m switching pharmacies.
Very RUDE called one time to have Rx transfered from Walgreen in DublinWent there 3 days later the girl I talk to hadnt even done it. Walgreen had already filled I had to wait for them to put back on the shelf or go to Dublin and pick it up. I dont think they want our business. That ok Food City coming get my stuff there
I have been using cvs since I was a little girl they use to be the best now they are rude,slow lose prescriptions,and always runs out of the meds that my kids are on I have moved on to a new pharmacy
Usually very rude, a younger guy works in the back always complains, and when I call I’m on hold for what seems like forever and no one answers, ever.
