They dont really help. I went in to buy an inexpensive pocket 9 and was directed to used gun counter. Not being pleased with the conversation or the products. I went home searched the internet and found a Ruger EC-9. Perfect. I ordered it from the Carolina Gunrunners. Why was I not shown this option while in the store?Just a few days ago I was on the internet and found a revolver I would like. I called Carolina Gunrunners and asked if they have it in stock, he said no. I asked if they could order it for me... put me on hold.. came back and said they cant get it and told me to go somewhere else to purchase it and have it shipped to them. I went back on line found it on their website, ordered it and had it a few days later.. whats up with that?This is crazy making....do your research first ..and they can and do efficiently take your money THE OWNER DID CALL TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE EXPERIENCES I HAVE HAD. HE IS A STAND UP GUY. THANKS FOR THE CALL

This is an awesome little store. It was actually the place that started off mine and my husbands journey into firearms you could say. We each only had a little bit of experience shooting various firearms, but always wanted to be firearm owners. We signed up for classes through Carolina Gunrunners and were very pleased with the experience. The staff are super knowledgeable and are happy to talk with you or guide you to the best choice for you. Even though its a smaller store, its still fun to browse and see whats new as they have a great selection on gently used firearms available.

Emailed the store to ask about using their Silencer Shop Kiosk. Got a call back very quickly answering my question. Then visiting the store and using the Kiosk I needed some help getting my fingerprints. An associate came from behind the counter and took time to make sure I got it right.In terms of the shop and staff overall - its incredibly clean, professional, and organized. I witnessed them dealing with several different customers and all of the interactions were great. No attitudes from these guys, just calm, cool and professional.

These guys are very knowledgeable about every aspect of guns whether youre in the market for home defense or are interested in purchasing guns for hunting these guys know their stuff. They ensure that you leave their store 100% satisfied whether you purchase a gun or not. I was in the market for a shot gun and 308 rifle. I knew which shot gun I wanted but needed help with a nice rifle setup including a scope. After talking to them for a while and walking me through the pros and cons of each option I feel VERY happy with my purchase and will definitely be going back there for my AR at some point.

Their website inventory is not actually THEIR inventory. It is their distributors. I researched their website for a pistol I wanted to purchase. It showed as limited inventory, which I took to mean as actually existing in their inventory. Considering this is a physical store, it seems logical that saying something is in stock means you can go buy it. It doesnt. I left work early to ensure getting there before 7pm (may as well be 4pm for most of us...lets be real) only to be told that their website shows their distributors inventory. They had to order my IN STOCK pistol! To top it off, the only brand of ammo they carry for it is Blazer.... I wont be returning to buy, aka order, anything else if I can help it. I dont want to make the trip to pick up this pistol at this point either to be honest.Staff was nice...but that isnt why I took the time to drive their after looking at their fake stock online.Thanks for following up on this. Hopefully the website can be made clearer up front to prevent this for the next customer. Regarding the ammo, my other 25 will not fire this brand at all, but does others. It is old and probably needs springs replaced, but these other brands get me by at the moment. Just something to consider if you carry a single brand. Remington works, for example.

Just got done buying a pistol from Mike and I could not have asked for a better experience!!! Rare Old Fashion Customer Service.I have a Ruger 9mm Carbine and I needed some help getting the Magwell changed to my Glock Magwell. I walked in and Josh greeted me right away. I asked if he could help me and after a quick look at my gun he stated No problem Even though the store was busy he took the time to change my Magwell for me right there at the counter. In just a few short minutes my Ruger was ready and accepting Glock magazines. I Thanked Josh for the quick and efficient service and asked how much I owed him.Josh shook my hand and said its on me and Thanks for coming in today Needless to say, you would be hard pressed to find this level of customer service at any other gun shop. I am now a loyal customer and will shop Carolina Gunrunners for all my needs.

Drove well over a hour to go to Carolina gunbrunners today. I had been looking forward to it since I had heard that it is a good store. Got there at 245 they close at 5. But they had a sign on the door saying closed at 2 for inventory. I would think that that would be done after normal hours and not on Saturday since that is the day working people are off. Well now I am headed across town to give my money to a heartless big box store. It is a shame because I went out of my way to support a small business.

Overall the store is great. There were excellent selections, excellent choices, an excellent customer service. The prices are also reasonable. Everyone there was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. I recommend the store to anyone.

This location had a seating area to both fill out paperwork and wait comfortably. They usually have stock of commonly wanted items, some hard to find at other local locations. Does it get any better than this? Nice to have a shop with a real 1911 and parts selection. The fellas that work there are great guys that are patient with the beginners and have conversation for the old schoolers. Great selection and prices for pistols and long guns. I got my Solo from them when no one else in town had it. Got a green CZ Duty that I didnt even know existed. I even changed where I get my pizza from just so I can stop in to see whats new while I wait.

Traveled across town to check out this place and the folks behind the counter were quite rude except for the one helping someone else. When I asked to see a KelTec Sub 2000 the salesperson failed to CLEAR the rifle before I asked to see it. How can you have a gun shop and fail to perform the most important safety process. Everything I asked something about the firearm the salesperson grabbed the rifle and then would hand it back.Ive visited many gun shops in many states and this is one of the worst ones Ive visited. They had a good selection of firearms but safety and customer support is always the most important thing for me. I can purchase a firearm anywhere so the gun is not the biggest part of firearm sales.

Had a good experience turned bad. Went in bought a rifle everything seemed good and was happy. But I changed my mind after I purchased it decided to go with a pistol. Went to go return the rifle and they wouldn’t refund me the full amount. Even when I was going to buy my pistol right then and there. They gave 200 dollars less than what I purchased the rifle for. Never used the gun and was still in the brand new case. Horrible service! Bought my Springfield XDS at another local gun shop and have returned there ever since to purchase any firearms. Not to mention get a free range pass everytime I buy a gun. I would highly suggest against Carolina Gun Runners.
