Love this thrift store. Every day they have specials which helps move the merchandise. Since everything is donated it is nice to see a thrift store that wants to keep the merchandise moving.Also love the fact that all the money goes to spaying and neutering cats. Great cause.I donate in the back and then go inside to shop!

I visited on Monday had an overall pleasant trip. The store was well kept and organized, and there was a good variety of home goods, books, clothes ..etc.. for great prices. Upon check out the two girls at the front came off as disinterested in talking to me, but were not rude.I would try shopping here again, especially since the money goes to a good cause.

I will NOT donate here anymore, I have donated two big bags of stuff today and I went inside found some dog toy ropes for 2 dollars for a big bag, but I mean I am looking around and they have dog crate 25 dollars? old nasty shoes priced 25-30 dollars. This is a used store and they want 6 bucks for a used make up bag?? I will NOT donate or ever buy from here again. Who ever is pricing the stuff here is seriously smoking some strong weed. Prices are way to high for a thrift shop.

Decent prices. Older lady there kept following me around the store asking if I was going to buy something. The item was in a Ziploc bag and she was telling me that she had to take it back because someone had broken the ziplock bag. Even though the bag had a zipper and could be opened regardless. She couldnt process that the bag opened so it didnt matter if the bag was torn.

Very nicely organized! Retails has a lot of stuff, but everything is neatly organized so you dont have to dig through anything to see everything. The book section is lovely. Being a book lover, this was the first section I went to. I found a couple of books Ive wanted for a while, but hadnt found yet. The staff is very nice. I was greeted as I came in and checkout was great. I would definitely recommend to anyone to visit Retails.

I really enjoyed shopping here at this store they have great prices and everyone seems to be pretty friendly. The fact that the money they make goes to save animals is a very good feeling.retails in the Selma cotton mill in Selma North Carolina are two of the best animal rescue organizations I know of. Retails doesnt have we need dogs and cats like the summer cotton mill so I dont like it quite as much but maybe one day they will

Really enjoyed shopping here as everything is very well organized and clean and I found a few gems to help me on my journey of revamping my wardrobe. Social distancing and mask protocols are thorough and everyone, including customers, were actually following them. Would love to have bicycle parking here.

You can always find something nice to use in your home. Got a brand new pair of 50 dollar pajamas for 4.50 with the special they had today.

I really wanted to like this store, but after several not so great trips, I wont be returning. Most of the staff have been consistently rude. I had someone roll her eyes at me and ask where a hanger was when I didnt know I was supposed to bring it up front when I purchased an item on my first trip there. I blew that off and returned and again found the staff very rude. Same with the 3rd and 4th trips. I did find some nice items a few times, but then more recently Ive noticed they have priced relatively inexpensive jeans VERY high, and there really wasnt anything that i believe was worth the cost. That aside, I just dont like being treated like im an annoyance as a customer- and thats my biggest reason for writing this.

Ive been donating to Retails since it was behind the Red Lobster down on Wake Forest Road. About two weeks ago, I took the things I had collected during the quarantine to drop off. I rang the bell and no one came. There were two other cars there to drop off also. I went inside and the woman at the counter told me to come back tomorrow that they were too busy. There were TWO people in the store!!! Well, I drove by Hand-me-ups to get there because I try to support what Retails does for the animals. Did she really think THREE cars were going to drive back the next day when we were right there? Retails lost three cars full of good things that day. I turned around and took the things back to Hand -me-ups, and they were glad to have them. There should always be someone happy to accept donations.

I love this place and I come here all of the time. However, today changed things for me. I’m well aware they work off of donations. I was initially unimpressed when one of the staff members friends came in with their dog whom was running all over the place unrestricted and the staff member literally ran past me trying to catch him as she and her friend was laughing. The part that’s not laughable is how an elderly man almost tripped, all the while this was funny?. What also upset me was the same individual (friend) of the (same) staff member immediately started itemizing to the employee “what about *this* is it still in the back? Have you guys brought this out yet? I want it.. “then complained about something being purchased that he quoted was intended for him; the list went on and was detailed so it’s evident this friend gets a heads up of their inventory before the public does, which doesn’t sit well with me since they advertise as non-profit. Also because I often donate there. But wont be again. I drive out of my way a bit to donate there for their cause over other establishments; never again. I gave the 2 stars because I have generally had pleasant experiences here, but this time, today-changes my perspective of this establishment. Disappointing.

I am 1000% for supporting pet rescue and spaying. But the pricing here is just plain greedy. Who prices used stuffed animals for $6 and up? Some of the items still had the original prices on them and they priced them above the original prices. They clearly dont understand simple economics. Keep going. Theres better out there. You can buy online and donate a percentage to your favorite rescue!

I loved it. It was a small thrift store that had a lot of items. I got a bunch of fall/ winter wardrobe for a very affordable price. The clothes were clean and I got a free item because there was a small hole on it. Overall great place to find great quality clothes.

This is a great thrift store. Sometimes youll find stained clothes on the rack, which they will say they wont sell stained clothes. Be vigilant in checking the clothes. Good selection of fairly priced items. They also have a calendar you can get that will tell what the special will be on each day of the month. This store is worth a look.

We had a great experience here. The people were very nice and helpful. Store was clean and neatly arranged. Selection was good, not excellent but very good. There was a dressing room which provided adequate privacy. Prices were very good. We will return to this store.

Great thrift store experience. Clean fitting rooms, and apparently they have great daily deals... Was unaware that today was a 50% off day and was pleasantly surprised to hear that my loot of 3 blouses, a vest and a jacket cost only $11!!! I will be back!

On a lucky day this store does have some nice clothes. That’s the nicest thing I can say about it. The staff CAN be nice. Although the manager is extremely rude. She wouldn’t let an elderly man use the bathroom (it was visible that it was an emergency), and he was left to urinate on the floor. She had an elderly woman (the mans wife) in tears due to the situation. After it occurred the staff mocked and kidded about the incident. I do not recommend shopping here not only because of the rude manager, but the clothes just aren’t worth it. Seems that they care more about the animals and making money rather than the comfortability and kindness to their customers

Absolutely love this place! First time I went one lady was not so nice but one bad Apple doesnt spoil the bunch! I went back today & was greeted with a smile and even laughed with the cashier. They have everything! The prices are great & they print monthly calendars with different sales each day! Today 1/17/19 the entire store is 50% off.

They have a nice variety of items at reasonable prices. I enjoyed browsing through their vintage book section.

As far as thrift stores goes this one is good for clothing. Everything is well organized and clean. They are really light on furniture, but the excellent clothing selection makes up for it. Womens clothing is about half the store. Check their calender for their daily specials.

This is one of my favorite thrift stores. Its always very neat and tidy and the staff is very friendly. I love that they help animals so that makes shopping here even better. I have found some very cool and unique things here.

I worked for ReTails/Animalkind for two years. If looking to donate would take a hard look at the dumpster and trailer behind the building. Many donations end end up there. Ask hard questions about how exactly animals are being helped, where the money goes. Non profit has a lot of legal wiggle room. Shady.

Retails Thrift Store always has a good selection of items at reasonable prices. Their daily sales are interesting & their profits go to a good cause.

I do not know how anyone can not love this place. It is always clean and quiet. There are tons of books and clothes and misc items and yes a pet section. There is even a bathroom. I would really rate this a 4.5 because the dressing room doors are so high up that when I was trying on clothes I had to stand in the room so no one saw below my hips. Yes I am short but cmon! Besides that adore this place, and they are always doing little specials!

Best thrift shop this side of Raleigh. The clothes are actually cute, and clean with no holes or stains. THEY HAVE BOOOOKS! And some limited house items which are in good shape. They actually care about the quality of the product they place and unlike other thrift shops, wont sell just anything. I like that I can come here and walk out with full bags for less than $60 of cute clothes for my pre-teens.

I found a couple of GREAT finds (like 6) for $20.

I wish Details Thrift Shop were closer to where I live, as Id definitely shop there more often! offer used mens, womens, and childrenss clothing & accessories in good condition. They also sell used specialty clothing items like scrub tops & pants for healthcare & veterinary professionals.One of the main reasons I shop at Retails & recommend it to others is that its proceeds find The $20 Fix, a much-needed program that helps low-income residents to spay or neuter their cats & dogs, in an effort to reduce animal overpopulation. Fewer dog & cats are found dead in the streets due to untreated infections & disease; mailings by other animals competing for food resources; starvation & dehydration; etc.While Retails is not as large a store as other area thrift stores, it feel good WHEN shop there as (1) its proceeds help local cats & dogs by offering affordable spaying & neutering for low-income pet owners; 2) it offers volunteer opportunities for individuals who want to help animals; 3).affordable used clothing, furniture & home goods for those trying to to survive ON extremely low incomes; 4) it offers service projects to fund operating costs for local non-profit agencies & charitable organizationsI will continue to shop at Retails Thrift Store & thus continue to support their efforts to reduce the stray animal population by providing low-cost spaying and neutering for pet owners who cannot afford this veterinary service.

First off their changing rooms do not have proper locks and i nearly got caught in my under wear by people in the store and when i sent a complaint to the BBB i never got a response, secondly they charge 2$ per disk with dvds but give no indication that is the case, sign says dvds:2$ not dvds 2$ per disk making it also illegal, had to lie to get the price down to the RIGHT price when i got 3 box sets that they wanted 5$ per instead of 2$ for, they should have a 8$ box set sign making sure that people know so i dont have to lie to get the right price, the clothes dont fit half the time and they have little to no sweat pants making the half off clothes sales pointless for me, and the board games are taped shut and i had to break the box to open it to check if they had the right pieces, some dvds and vhs tapes are also taped shut, luckly i keep a pocket knife with me at all times but you cant just tape shut merchandise because then people cant check if they are ok quality or not because they have a no refund policy so we have a right to check the quality,they should not tape shut vhs tapes and dvds because people need to check the quality before buying if its no refund, that is all, avoid at all costs if you dont want bad products, you should try good will and the one by food lion on captial, they check all products before they go for sale, the new location made all the changes, it was great when it was near walmart but now its crap with its products
