Tom is such an an amazing bartender, he made sure that we were satisfied with our drinks at the Garden bar. He also was kind enough to take our group photo and share terrific lady gaga oreo cookies. The greenhouse house is more incredible then I thought it would be as well as affordable and priced fairly. The staff are all nice and attending which is important bc it was a group of 4. They didnt overcrowd us and allows us to explore the area which is nice. We had side conversations and kept engaging with the staff about everyday life..Lastly the music is a vibe! Youll have to be sitting at the garden bar to hear it, but ill describe it as reminiscent.

While in the nursery I asked one employee a question about one plant and he completely stopped what he was doing and walked with me to find the answer, very kind. At check out Rachel was great, we chatted like best friends about what plants we are excited about and where to get the best cuttings. The time I visited before Alex checked me out and she was so nice and helpful telling me when the best time to come in is. They have a wide variety of beautiful house plants at reasonable prices and believe it or not, they have a bar! I have already recommend this place to at least 5 friends.

Great spot for some flowers and grab a 🍻 while shopping. Staff was helpful and the selection of flowers and trees matched the big boxes but its nice to support a local business. The parking lot is not very large and can be tricky to get around in so be careful and watch out for other shoppers.

Love it here! They have quite a few plants that are hard to find at other nurseries. Everything is organized and labeled so you know exactly what the needs are for each plant. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable which is always a plus. And some of the cleanest restrooms I’ve ever seen in a public place. Sometimes we come just to walk around and see if anything catches our eye, and something usually does. Rarely ever leave here empty handed.

I love Atlantic! So far this has been the best place to get all sorts of varieties of plant life be it shrubs, vegetables, trees, orchids, etc. Everything here is great quality and you can tell that they take good care of everything before you take it home to plant. The employees are knowledgeable and are able to provide assistance from plant recommendations to what to do to try to save and plants or shrubs that may have taken a turn for the worse if you improperly maintained it or a pest has invaded. The prices can sometimes seem high, but for the quality, it is worth it. Highly recommended for anyone looking to do some landscaping around the house. And for those that may not care about plants too much but get dragged along to shop, you can always go to the garden bar to grab a pint!

A convenient nursery that carries a number of natives mixed in with the typical stock. They focus on offering larger/more established shrubs, which can be difficult to find.They offer many dwarf varieties perfect for a small yard or layering in front of older landscaping.They are more expensive but you are usually paying for a larger plant than local competitors. You can follow them on social media for discounts and sales.

I absolutely recommend going to see this place. It has a wide variety of flowers and plants. As well as a very nice staff with wine bar available. So Yes highly recommend it!!! A+

Customer service is great only when it concerns girls working directly with plants. When it comes to delivery- we have some guy- he will text u when he ll want and make a delivery. Same situation with managers- they are sure that their job is just walk back and forward across the room and check people out. Ficuses moclame cost around 1000 dol- can u at least treat them from fungis before selling. I was wondering what a white spots on the leaves and black on some I noticed right after I brought them home. I thought it was dust - but not leaves started turn yellow. Its even not ok for walmart but we are dealing with specialized store. (

Came here because the reviews showed they had pond fish. Come to find out they stopped keeping Koi and Goldfish a while ago. They have plenty of pond accessories and plants which Ill be back for that. Garden center is amazing with a wide selection and knowledgeable staff.

Seems to be the only nursery in town, and the world was there. Nice variety, but way too busy for me. Prices were higher than expected, but the plants were healthy and well cared for. The only person that was unfriendly to me was the cashier and one other patron, who snatched away a plant I was trying to reach. I mostly did not care for the experience, because of the crowded parking area. Ill stick to my local garden center.

Beautiful plants and great service overall!

The atmosphere and selection of plants was fantastic. Definitely more options than the local hardware store, and I really enjoyed the greenhouse. The garden bar was a pleasant surprise as well. However the plants are super over priced! Especially considering that the larger plants are dying. We brought 2 gardenia bushes at $75/each and the roots were so over grown, brown and brittle that the base of the bush snapped off. I still tried to plant the bush, but I dont think its going to survive.

There is a great selection of both outdoor and indoor plants. Their orchids are beautiful and tempt me every time I go there. One can purchase orchids that arent currently in bloom for 5 dollars or so. There is a little bar inside which has about 5 or so beers on tap and a selection of wine.

I am amazed of the lack of care given to the trees,flowers and plants.Could be they have more than they can care for.There was a half of greenhouse with dead or dying plants that shouldnt have been visible to the customers.They were asking premium prices. The florist shop inside could have been better organized.I saw some nice arrangements

Ive always loved Atlantic Garden Center. Their prices are usually a little higher than the big box stores, but the plants are generally fuller and healthier. This year however their prices are absurd! Im so sick of every business blaming their price hikes on COVID. And their rewards program is no better. For every 100 dollars spent you get a whopping 5 dollars in credit. Get over yourselves. Your plants aint worth all that!

I visited for the first time today and everything exceeded my expectations! I love the selection and the customer service was second to none. Tom was at the bar and we had a delightful chat and I left with a new bottle of wine along with my new plants. The sip and shop concept isn’t a new thing but I really enjoyed being able to sip my cider and shop for plants. A completely relaxing Saturday afternoon!

Awesome customer service! The Garden Bar is awesome. Staff was very knowledgeable about how to fight mosquitos naturally and recommended lemon balm. Will go again!

Just left disappointed! I was really expecting great customer service but was met with workers who didn’t even ask if I needed any help or thanks for coming. The only person who spoke was the lady behind the desk at the greenhouse. I will definitely be spending my money somewhere it is appreciated.

I visited Atlantic Gardening Company for the first time today and it was an amazing experience. I came to make my own bouquet but browsed around to see what they had. So much stuff! Lisa was especially helpful and so so kind! I can’t wait to come back.

This truly is a plant lovers paradise. They have so much to choose from and its spaced out to where there can be an influx of people without the feeling of being lost in the crowd. Amazing atmosphere and they have a bar! Cheap drinks - tap beer and wine, mimosas etc. They also have the food truck on the weekends which seems to be VERY popular. We wanted to visit but the line was so long we did not feel like waiting. Sometimes there are coupons available on their website. Give this place a chance and check out the local place to buy plants!!!

I don’t have enough time or space to share how terrible my experience was today! I have been getting orchid arrangements here forever, but unless they can change one particular salespersons last of customer service & attitude I will take my business elsewhere! She was rude, indignant & most of all not representative of the “warm & fuzzy” experience I have appreciated & known over the years! The manager was professional & listened to my feedback. I just hope something changes!

Absolutely love Atlantic Gardening. I do wish their prices were a little lower for install, but all in all, I spent $1,100 on privacy trees and absolutely love them. Tom is a great helper / installer and I recommend Atlantic Gardening to all my friends! Quick note, it’s been extremely difficult to get any staff on the phone. I had to call 8x just to pay for the trees. I was trying to give them my money and it was extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone. I just wish they’d change this and work on it.We’ve had Atlantic Gardening install trees twice in two years. Every time they are excellent.

Be cautious on what you purchase here, AGC will try their hardest not to honor a plants six month warranty like they promise when selling it to you. Ive spent a good amount of money here. The manager I spoke with 30 minutes ago was not pleasing.

Second trip to this business in the last few months and both times the customer service was horrific! Having been a customer for at least 15 years, it is very sad to me the focus of this business is no longer on the customer. Employees are rude, not helpful and one even interrupted & argued with me when I complained to the manager about the service I received. Sadly, the manager wasnt very helpful either. Instead they all seemed to be focused on justifying their bad behavior. I also called and left a message for the owner to call me and never received a call back.Such a shame as this store has been my go-to for indoor and outdoor plants for many years. Ive also noted all the familar faces/employees are no longer there and have been replaced. After two bad experiences and no one recognizing their shortcomings, I will be taking my business elsewhere!

I called from out of state to order an arrangement for my mother in laws birthday based on a referral from an orchid grower going out of business. Working with Shari was a delightful experience. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient! She texted me a photo of the arrangement prior to delivery for my approval which was appreciated. Definitely our go to place to purchase from in the future.

I have been buying all of my indoor and outdoor plants here since moving to Raleigh two years ago. Recently we did some extensive and expensive outdoor planting. I’ve probably spent over 2500. We have never had a problem; as a matter of fact, their staff has been wonderful.Last week I bought a gorgeous fern from the garden shop. Three days later it was completely dead! I’m known as the plant whisperer so I was shocked. When I brought it back over the weekend I was flat out told that they don’t except returns. The man was so rude to me! He said the plant is dead. I said I know! He said it was no different than if I bought a tree from them and left it in my garage. Once again I asked if they would make an exception considering my business and it only being a couple of days. Again very rude telling me I could talk to the manager (that of course wasn’t working) and walked away.The employee that originally was waiting on me was very kind and seemed embarrassed by her coworkers attitude. She asked to keep the plant and said the manager would call me. I haven’t heard from Atlantic but I’ll update if I do!

Atlantic is one of the very best places in town for all things garden related. A GORGEOUS collection of orchids that will blow you away. Best place for Koi ponds and fish Ive ever been.

First time visiting, and will surely be a frequent customer in the future!

I enjoyed my experience at Atlantic Gardening. They have a nice selection of flowers, seeds, bulbs, soil, orchids, sproutlings, and various garden accoutrements at reasonable prices. I bought a couple of ranunculus (ranunculi?) and a primrose for my container garden. Also available are classes on beekeeping and gardening! They were also kind enough to provide advice on gardening and hydroponic systems. I will be back to Atlantic Gardening soon!

Went to Atlantic Gardening for the first time today and was really impressed. They’ve got a great selection of succulents and orchids, fun pots and just about everything you’d expect for a nursery that has a bar inside. Peppered birdseed! Apparently birds like spicy food too 🌶They’re prices are great and I’ll definitely be back.

I love the orchids here. All of the orchids in Blue Water Spa and in my home are from Atlantic Avenue. They orchids are beautiful and last a long time. The people there are great. They know Im picky and particular so they will usually just stay out of my way :). But when I need help or inspiration that are always available. Zack is the best. If the orchids from Atlantic Avenue are good enough for Dolly Parton, they are good enough for me!

I really enjoy working with Michael who heads up Atlantics Landscape Architecture and Planning Division. He is always very optimistic and excited when designing and planning new projects for my home. Overall, he is a great communicator- timely and responsive. I also enjoy working with Dennis (one of the head gardeners) he has done two large projects for my home. Very courteous and gentle workers. My experience has been that the landscape team is very committed and hardworking. Very strong communication and planning overall! I planning on many-many more gardening phases in quarters to come. Whenever an issue comes up in regards to plant health they are quick to respond and repair/nurture/replace.

I just popped in over the weekend for the first time to check it out and had a terrific experience. The selection was excellent and the quality of plants looks superb. I had a few questions about planting heirlooms that Chris expertly answered. The ladies at the check-out desk were so much fun. When I told them it was my first time visiting, they gave me a coupon for my next visit. Im just delighted to know this place is in my neighborhood, and am planning to make it my regular spot.

This is a great local nursery. We received great help picking out a flower for our garden that will attract bees. The prices are very competitive when compared to some of the big box chains around. Plants are looking healthy and happy in our garden. We will be back in the future to check out the bar and the indoor plants they have.

A wonderful selection of plants. May not be the cheapest in town, but probably the best selection. Plants are healthy, pest free, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. One of my go-to nurseries in the triangle

I purchased a variety of plants and had Atlantic Garden Company install them December of 2016. They told me if they did the installation then the plants were covered under warranty for a full year. With the purchase of the plants and the installation fees the total cost was over $1000.00. Less than a year went by and a few of the plants didnt survive. I addressed this with Atlantic Garden back in early October of 2017 and the lead gardener told me that it wasnt covered under warranty; whomever told me that was incorrect and non-verbally addressed this as too bad not his problem. Ill never go back there and will always refer others to go elsewhere.

All the employees at Atlantic Orchid and Garden went above and beyond to answer all my questions and accommodate all my requests on the most rainiest Memorial Day Holiday weekend I have experienced. Planning is very important when putting a project together and I see that the employees will try to help me get the items I need to help my project turn out to be excellent. I love this place. I find the coolest perennials here! Great trees and shrubs. I go here for my container gardens also as they have a huge selection of annuals in a size thats great for making up a great container garden, including on a shady porch. The staff is so helpful. Bob is so knowledgeable and helpful about perennials and vegetable growing. The staff has a great mix of knowledge. Listen when they tell you its all about the soil. If you want great results, amend the soil.

My first attempt to get questions regarding pond questions no one to assist. I heard front desk call, but no one said anything to me after that so I left. Second visit about the pond Mr. Church was there to answer my questions. Great!!! The end of my meeting with Mr. Church we scheduled a visit to take a look at my pond. Well when the day came I called his mobile number on his card 2x’s left a message each time. I also called Atlantic Garden main number. At that time I was told he was there. When the call was transferred someone else answered and said he just stepped out a few seconds ago. Well, I never received a call to cancel or reschedule. I will take my business elsewhere. Superb service. I was helped immediately when I arrived and the gentleman answered all my questions patiently as we selected which type of bush to buy. He educated me on how to install It as well. I may have been dreaming, but I could have sworn the gentleman was also playing a live piano outdoors as well.

This is a well stocked nursery with lots of healthy plant specimens and a great selection of pots, potting media, fertilizers, pesticides etc. They have a whole section for hydroponic growing, starting plants and clones etc. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, if they didnt know the answer they pointed me to someone who did. Their orchid selection was beautiful but not as varied as I expected. They were, however, in the process of getting more.

I absolutely love this garden center for several reasons, the biggest being the friendly and helpful staff. I have been there simply to get plants for my vegetable and herb garden, but oftentimes have questions. Each time someone has cheerfully asked me if I needed help, and then patiently told me everything I needed to know.One time I went in assuming I needed a pesticide for something that was eating one of my plants, but ended up speaking to a very knowledgeable employee who informed me of a DIY technique that would work better than any chemical, and be healthier. He knew this would mean I wouldnt buy anything, but selflessly put my needs first. What he said worked great!Very recently another employee was not 100% sure about the answer to my question, but said she knew where to get the information and went to the indoor area, returning quickly with a super helpful printout for me to take home.I always find the plants to be beautiful and the atmosphere pleasant and happy. I highly recommend this place!
