Indifferent service. I ordered curbside, got a timely message saying my order was done, made my way to the cafe and tried four times to call them to get my curbside pickup. Finally went in and five, count them, five employees were sitting around having a great time chatting while a couple of customers ate in the back of the dining room.
I enjoyed my visit here for brunch. I love crepes and its hard to find a restaurant (where Im from) with crepes. I would definitely go back again and I encourage others to try them too. On Sundays you cannot make a reservation before 3pm. I had the bananas foster crepes and the Brussel sprouts . I also had a really tasty apple cider mixed drink... Amazing!
I went very basic and ordered the French toast am with a side of bacon on my visit. The French toast was very filling and well cooked. My issues were 1) I was overcharged for my drink (told by the waitress that there was one price despite the menu stating differently) and 2) the French toast didn’t come with any sides, which seems a bit incomplete. I also wasn’t able to swap the “waffle” part of the the “chicken and waffles” for regular French toast. All in all, I had a very average experience. I may go back to give the crepes a go however.
Yummy! The grilled cheese is a huge portion and delicious tomato soup to enjoy with it. The cordon blue crepe is packed with flavor

I went there with 2 friends, and about 15 minutes after paying the check, the waitress came up to us and straight up told us to leave because there were other people waiting for tables. Understandable, but there were several empty tables around us, and we had only been sitting there chatting for about fifteen minutes after paying. Great food- but service leaves something to be desired.EDIT- The business has reached out to me, and promptly handled the issue. Given the care and dedication the owners clearly have to satisfying their customers, I have changed my review from 3 stars to 5 stars- as I am extremely impressed with the way management handled the situation.
My family and I came for Lunch on Sunday. Our server, Bailey was amazing. He was extremely attentive and polite. Probably one of the best servers Ive ever had. My food was so good. I had the Short Rib Burger. The Bacon Jam was out of this world. I Highly recommend it. I only gave my visit 4 stars because we waited almost an hour and a half to get a table and nearly 30 mins to get our food. Surprisingly after that wait, I would still be back again! Food was worth the wait.
Had a delicious breakfast at Simply Crepes! Always enjoy their specialties of crepes (of course!) and the creme brulee oatmeal (yum!!). Sounds silly but I am disappointed they have changed their furniture. :( The French country charm added so much to the ambiance of the space. The new modern metal chairs change this entirely and seem totally out of place with the French charm.
Was in town to visit family, and this place was recommended! First time experience in a crepe shop but definitely would go back. The food was delish and the service was awesome. A waitress name Emma or Emily with blond hair was really patient and helpful. Great experience !!! Would Recommend!!
It’s important I start out by saying that I don’t like crepes. So, I know the next thing to ask is why would I go? My man loves crepes so to make him happy we went for lunch. There were not that many options without the use of crepes. So I ordered the Chicken Tarragon Crepe and it was good. My man ordered The Rugby and that was actually a lot better than mine. So I would recommend that dish compared to mine. The service was good and I loved the environment it felt cozy. Please like if my review was helpful.
Unexciting for worse and better. I was told the tarragon chicken is most popular on the menu. It is super bland like fettuccine alfredo. This applies to the chicken french. Tasty and not bad at all, just things I would serve people with GI problems.
The Tomato soup and grilled cheese were awesome when we went yesterday. The host brought water for our puppy and the server Emily with the blondish hair did a fantastic job making sure everything was good and kept our water glasses full.
One star, because ZERO stars is not an option. What restaurant in Raleigh, NC does not have mustard as an option for a condiment??? Supper with my wife and son turned into watching them eat as I know that I had mustard (mustard, for crying out loud) at home. So, I wound up taking my supper in its entirety home. Utterly ridiculous! This restaurant has seen my last dollar.
Simply Crepes Cafe is amazing for the food they prepare. If you like eating Brussels Sprouts, you MUST try the appetizer served. It tasted Heavenly! I could not stop eating it. There is enough to share but I will order this dish for my main meal the next time I visit.

Extremely dysfunctional. The host stand was a mess, the servers didn’t know how to use the mobile point of sale system they were using. Nobody apologized for the unnecessary delays. We never had anyone come over to refill our drinks. I saw food sit in the window for at least ten minutes while three staff members just stared at the screen. It’s a total mess. The food does not make up for the inattentive and disoriented staff. Will not be returning.
Honestly, I had been coming here for years and loved it. But went today and it took over an hour and a half to get food. Then they brought orders at different times. I hope this is only temporary but honestly the worst expirnce I have ever had.

We stopped in today for a late breakfast. The wait staff is super friendly. We loved the banana caramel crepe, poutine, and cordon bleu crepe. So yummy!
Had a great lunch here today. Crepe Madame ( minus the egg) was delish and my husband said the Rugby was very good! Outside seating is nice with umbrellas for shade! Braden was attentive and friendly- couldn’t have asked for a nicer waiter

Cutest little crepe cafe. The atmosphere puts you right in Paris, from the decor to the flowing white drapes. And the food is amazing. Perfect, light crepes and other delicious plates available. And the coffee is to die for. We had the strawberry crepes with Nutella, loaded potatoes and the Rugby crepe. All of it was delicious and we unfortunately couldnt finish half our food. Definitely adding this to the list for when we return to Raleigh.
This was the perfect place for my daughters bridal luncheon. Food was excellent & the service was great! The manager, Nate, was so helpful. Hope to eat here again soon!

I am visiting my niece and she took me there. Unfortunately it is a 4 hour drive from my house. I love any kind of crepe but its hard to find them in the US that are as good as Simply Crepes 💔

We were told to leave because we were a big group (10?) gen-xers/ boomers drinking coffee. Understandable as they have to watch their bottom line and they probably have a time limit on how long people can sit at a table, but it was done in a strangely confrontational way.
This place has the best crepes, hands down! They don’t skimp on the portions and they are fairly priced.

Absolutely horrendous and unwelcoming customer service! My family was excited to dine here, however we waited over 15 minutes to be seated while a waitress chatted with a table for the entire time and other waiters wandered around us with no regard to our presence. Considering there were practically no occupied tables nor was it busy inside, the service is ridiculously inexcusable.

Awful… wanted GF, which they offer. Food was tasteless. Couldn’t tell the difference between the crepe and the ‘meat’ that was supposedly in there. The highlights were the fresh fruit that came the my wife’s crepe and the fried potatoes the came with mine.
It’s a really nice restaurant inside! Me and my boyfriend dined in here for the first time. The crepes were delicious! I got a Philly cheese-stake crepe and loved how it already came with red potatoes on the side 👍🏽 My boyfriend got the traditional crepes and it was amazing as well. Both the sweet and savory crepes here are great! The only thing bad was my water tasted like tap/dishwater.

We have wanted to try Simply Crepes, and were excited to finally get the chance.Went to dinner at 6:05 pm, 05/22/2021.We weren’t pleasantly greeted by the hostess, and it seemed to bother her that we were even there at all.Waitress wasn’t that much better, didn’t ask if we’d ever been before, no mention of specials.“Ho Hum” and blasé attitude.Order placed at 6:15 pm.Received food at 6:55 pm.Two sandwiches,…SANDWICHES!FORTY MINUTES!?!Not once did our waitress come over to check on us, apologize for the wait, NOTHING.Zero excuse for this. We should have walked out.As other reviewers mentioned, we watched prepared food sit at the counter,(both food and crepe ends), for several minutes.Our one bright spot was that our food got to us as soon as it was ready. I guess even the waitress figured out we’d been there more than awhile.The crepe preparer started to deliver orders to the tables that had sat on counter, and had really started to pile up.This happened more than once.The restaurant wasn’t even busy!There was a total of five tables of customers.Saturday night and there were exactly two servers!Took us over an hour and ten minutes to receive two sandwiches and one crepe. Unbelievable!FYI to the owners: Your wait staff has given up. Our waitress didn’t seem to care at all whether or not we become repeat customers. From the reviews, we aren’t the only ones who have been treated this way.
Crepes Benedict = Yum!This shop is family friendly with lovely ambiance that can dress casual. My favorite part is that you can order breakfast items ask day long! More places need to do this.There is ample parking and various supporting shops in the same center. Feel free to go for a walk after your meal. Id imagine a brunch would be amazing here. We came for lunch and we were not disappointed. Savory crepes are a thing, and you should embrace it.Groups are welcome. Theres a section that may be sectioned off, so they may host group gatherings. Baby showers come to mind.

I have been here several times. The food & service was great BUT TODAY!!!! Im very dissatisfied. I spent $70 and the glasses were dirty, the server wasnt kind, another server was extremely slow, I watched our order sit in the window more than 8 minutes. I walked to the cooking counter to let them know that was my order. We waited 20 min for a side of sausage. When we got it it was SLOPPY and broken into pieces. Great food but horrible service ☹️😫
We love this restaurant for the atmosphere, the safety of the layout and staff, and the great menu of wonderful dishes. I usually get one of the very tasty crepes but tonight I had their loaded 1/3 lb. burger that was truly the best I have ever had. I chose to have the fruit side instead of the red potatoes, but I will do that next time. My wife had her chicken tarragon crepe as usual but asked for it to be slightly broiled to make the cheese topping a little more crusty. She loved it. I also like the kindness of the staff, their knowledge of the all the dishes, and the way the take care of us. Tonight we were served by Evelina and she was attentive without being overly engaged. Very special evening for us.

When I say the food was amazing! It was great however the customer service was COMPLETELY TRASH! We saw our food sitting on the counter for 20 minutes. Therefore the food was cold. Dirty glasses.WE HAD TO GO GET OUR FOOD OFF OF THE COUNTER. I then waited 20 mins for a side of sausage. I again watched the sausage sit for 10 minutes. I’ve been to this restaurant many times & I’ve NEVER had this issue. It is clear that management wise this place is lacking. We asked another waitress for help she rolled her eyes. Never again .

Awfully bad service. I called Tuesday, they said we take reservations day before, I called Saturday they said it is first come first serve, and when I came they said an hour, an hour thirty minutes wait and I was waiting for TWO hours, and still my name did not get called while multiple tables were just empty outside. And so high and disturbing attitude of the staff. Don’t come if you want to enjoy your special day. I wish I could give zero star.

Iocated in a little French village (Lafayette Village shops😎) we sat outside in the courtyard while looking at the Eiffel Tower (fake) and had crepes. I had a chicken, mushroom, broccoli Gruyere and Parmesan cheese crepe with a tarragon cream sauce. Nice light crepe and very flavorful ingredients. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Diane had a strawberry and blueberry crepe with fresh whipped cream. She is a sweets eater! The fruits were fresh and crisp with the fruit sauce having just a hint of sweetness so that it was not a big sugar flavor and who doesnt love real whipped cream. Our server, Sindoos, was friendly and helpful with the menu. We will come back. Recommended 👍👍!
No one was their to seat me when I came in at 12:30PM on Friday but that could be an exception. I am not an expert on Crepes but I enjoyed mine and got the Breakfast Crepes served with potatoes. They came fast and got great service from Charlie. I think they understaffed for a Holiday, thats a management issue.
Stopped in for dessert and coffee. Thoroughly enjoyed the Nutella Fruit crepes with bananas, and the caramel latte may be the best Ive ever had!
This place is one of the best options for breakfast in Raleigh. Their food is delicious, especially their crepes and anything on the menu is well worth the price. Their staff is very attentive and the atmosphere is very welcoming
At first it seems like a nice place however within minutes of being in the establishment I witnessed two individuals (one front of house worker and one kitchen staff) not adhering to proper face cover mandates. If they cant follow simple rules such as covering both mouth and nose I have to wonder if they follow proper food handling rules as well.After a third individual came out not wearing any facial covering at all I decided to leave, that is when I learned the general manager was one of the individuals not wearing a facial covering properly.
Im just really disappointed is all. Im visiting from Little Rock and looked up places to try and this was my first. I drove from Cary, a 25 minute drive after driving 13.5 hours the night before to have breakfast only to find out theyre closed. Nothing on their website about it, in fact the exterminator for this company arrived at the same time and was surprised as well. I know that things happen but please try to update your website so that people know and make arrangements to go elsewhere. That is all.

This location has the worst communication. The food was not terrible but they have no system for lost and found items. We left a water bottle around 7 on our table on accident and returned to get it but the restaurant was closed. We came back the next morning at 9 and they told us they had it last night but they werent sure where it was put and that they would call me once they got in touch with a manager. No one called by 5pm so I called them to check and everyone is now claiming they dont remember a water bottle and they dont have it. To say Im frustrated with the communication and the fact that someone probably stole the water bottle or threw it away between the time they closed to the next morning at 9am is an understatement and is ridiculous. I will not return to this establishment.

Great place. Clean. Wasnt a ton of people there cause I went fairly early in the morning. Really good food. I lived in France for a couple years and the food I received was comparable. I got the breakfast crêpe and the lemon chiffon crêpe as well. Both were really good. Will return when I can.

Good place. Enjoyed a very delicious strawberry crepes with my son.The crepe portion is actually quite sizeable, and because of that along with its quality taste, the prizes are ok.I am very curious to try their Poutine. Ive had the fortune to eat many in East and Central Canada. (Best ones in Montreal), so lets see how this would stack up.

This is our second time trying Simply Crepes, we loved it the first time so came back. I got the French toast and it was completely burnt, I didn’t receive any syrup toppings. My boyfriend got the breakfast crepe and the potatoes that came with it were overcooked. I understand when things get busy because I’ve worked in restaurants myself, but that should not be served.

Absolutely best place in Raleigh to get crepes. The menu changes seasonally but they always have classic favorites and more. The staff from severest to upper management is always very friendly and eager to make sure youre experience is wonderul. Personal favorites of mine ate their fruit smoothies and the crepe madam!
I have eaten here twice. I was surprised at all of the Crepe selections. I have yet to get a sweet crepe because the savory ones are so good. I dont think you can go wrong!

I hosted a breast cancer event here yesterday. The staff at Simply Crepes were AMAZING!!!! The manager, Nate was so accommodating. Our 2 servers Brandy and Daly were the absolutely best!! They were extremely helpful beginning to end!! Ive never had such awesome service anywhere else. Oh, and the food was AWESOME!!!
