I flew in to see an X5. Javier picked me up in the X5, which was a great service gesture. I took the vehicle to Leith BMW down the street from Raleigh Pre-owned, and Leith said the vehicle looked good (front tint had to be removed, and a TCB coding fault). I brought it back to work numbers, but the discount I received was not the best based on CarGurus pricing showing the vehicle about $1700 over market. However, NADAs suggested retail said the car was under suggested retail. To be fair, the car was one of the cleanest at the price point and mileage I had come across. I have looked at NUMEROUS X5s.This location definitely needs to polish their decorum and professionalism. They are surrounded by MULTIPLE dealerships ranging from Audi, Bentley, BMW, Chevy, Toyota, Lexus and more. They are not the only game in town with numerous new and used car options to choose from. Though the car I came to see, and did purchase, was satisfactory and fit my needs, the overall experience was half hearted at best. A sense of urgency and customer service could go a long way to improving that.As a customer, I expect that my down payment will be processed via debit or credit regardless if its $500 or $5000. The cost of the processing fee (3%) for a transaction is not something you pass on to the customer to pay. It is the dealerships cost of doing business not mine. Additionally, many people do not use checks anymore, and pulling out cash from an ATM should not be necessary. I know it isnt needed from their surrounding dealership competition.Overall, it was not my worst small time dealership experience, but I think you get what your presented with. When all of the staff looks and acts as if they are hanging out at the mall, instead of being there to sell you a $15 to $60 thousand dollar product, the presentation at every level suffers. Im not suggesting that simply changing your appearance and behavior will improve things, but you have to start somewhere.Though the car I purchased was pretty clean, a final wash and detail should be part of a sale and delivery.Thank you for providing me the car to have it checked by BMW before I took possession. I would also like to thank Javier for processing my paperwork and getting me a decent tank of gas (not completely full, which I understand since not all used car places do it at all) before I drove home. Thanks to the gentleman in the detail area who removed the tint from my front windows, and thank you to the manager who spoke to me about my pricing concern.

Honestly I can say the reason why I received the best service was because of Sam the owner and Miss Katherine. They are good people wholl just going to provide good services to their community and this is why I would recommend them to anyone. They do not give off the sleazy Im trying to just hurry up and make you buy something vibe. The owner is willing to work with you to look for the middle. Images Katherine is one of the best when it comes to handling the paperwork quick and efficiently. I hope Sam continues to work there for a while because he has a heart of gold that will make you melt due to the fact he is just so, its so peaceful about everything. I appreciate the quality service my husband and I received from them.

This place is a scam.They sold me a 2019 ford edge titanium and within 3 weeks the head gasket blows, the cylinders wont fire and the piston rings are worn down.I thought I got a good deal because it had a few minor scratches but no, They know exactly what was happening. They took advantage of someone in need and show no remorse.DO NOT GO HERE, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU A LEMON.

We went there after having our car totaled. My fiance and I found an SUV we fell in love with and it was a reasonable price for a 2019 Ford Edge. It seemed to be in good working conditions when we test drove it. Though, THREE weeks in of just driving it 20 minutes to and from work the head gasket blew. Incredibly crazy to be a new car. We took it to a mechanic and it was stuck there for a whole month trying to wait on warranty, the new piece, the labor etc which I had to Uber and waste money on rides the entire month. When the mechanic was working on it, he found other engine issues that had not been addressed before. In other words, this place sold us a bad car and when we tried to reach out to them, there was no sympathy whatsoever. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. BETTER BE SAFE THAN SORRY.

Low quality used car dealerships with questionable cars. The salesman tried to pressure me into buying the car, by telling me that I have to buy it today in order to test drive it. The check engine light came on during the test drive. The car itself looked good on the website, but had a lot of minor dents, and rear brake rotors and pads needed to be replaced (the salesman said that they were fine). I would not recommend this dealership, especially if you arent knowledgeable about cars.

Scammers with no integrity. They will sale you junk if they can get away with it. This is a very ghetto, dirty, unprofessional car lot. Its giving very much trailer park.Sn: I never purchased a vehicle from here. I visited and test drove one. Do not be fooled by the pictures on the website.

I would leave a negative review if Google would allow this. Please do not buy a car from this company. My son recently brought a 2013 Volkswagen GTI from Raleigh Pre-owned. The check engine light came on after less than a day of driving! The car has less than 75,000 miles on it! I personally thought that was very low mileage for that car and did my own research even before he brought the car. The miles appear to be original and that was a very good thing. We return the car after the check engine light came on and they stated they would take care of the problem no worries. My son left the car with them for three days to fix the problem. We were told that it was an evap code and it was not a big problem. My son picked the car up after it was supposed to have been fixed and after driving about 50 miles check engine light is on. All they did was turned the check engine light off. We had the car checked out and the one code is the evap code and usually that is a simple and not expensive fix, but the car had two other codes that they did not disclose knowing that the fix is costly! They engaged in deceitful business practice. First by not disclosing the check engine light had been reset and it is a problem. The disclosure may not be required by North Carolina law but it is the ethical thing to do. Secondly, dont pretend to fix something when you know you have not. This company is not ethical and thus I would not recommend spending your money with them.

I bought a 2008 Hummer H3, only two minor repairs were needed. They worked very diligently to replace the parts and completed the repairs. When there was a delay in the repair due to the delivery of the parts they made it right by ensuring communication of TAT of the repairs and filled up the gas tank. Sam and the owner where very fair with the price and the total buying experience! The Hummer is in very good condition and rides great! Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the owner and company will take the hit for an incompetent sales person. I began calling on Tuesday to schedule a test drive for Wednesday. Im an hour and a half away so I was trying to plan ahead. Im sure car dealerships get calls all day long with people saying Im coming and no one shows up. This was different. On Tuesday I was told they do no negotiate pricing over the phone, even with my distance being an issue. I was advised I could place a deposit on the car over the phone so that no one could purchase before I arrive. This was to the tune of $500 which I later learned would be non refundable🤔 It we cant negotiate a price ahead of time then dont expect me to give that much in advance. The website also allows to schedule a test drive yet when I asked to have a set time of 630pm Wednesday, I was told sorry we dont do that. Its first come first serve. I understand that was well, but dont offer that option on your website. So again on Wednesday morning I spoke to Javier to verify the car was still there and it was. I told him what time wed be there (630pm) and he said to call back when you leave so I can make sure its here. Again I asked could I put $100 down to at least hold the car till we got there. He started no we dont do that. But the day before the lady answering the phone explained that process? 🤔 We call at 5pm when walking out the door and speak to Javier. He said the car was still there. We told him wed be there at 630pm ... We pull up at 624pm and the car is driving off the lot on a test drive. Once inside, Javier again says told you it was first come first serve. The test driver ultimately bought the car while we were there. Javier gave no care or concern for what just happened and when asked is this how you do business? he just put his hands up and said I cant even with you. A 3 hour round trip... Wasted! Gas used... Hard pull on credit... All these things occurred with lack of concern or compassion. I did speak to the owner who agreed that the car shouldnt have left on another test drive when we called in advance and were EARLY. He attempted to offer reduced pricing on other vehicles, money to compensate our time, asked what he could do to make it right, etc but the principal of the situation is what mattered. He seemed genuine. Just beware if you are serious about a vehicle but have a long distance to drive.. you may make a wasted trip!

Horrible!! Would not Recommend to any one. Do not waste your time or money. Sold me a 2010 mustang gt. A week later the check engine light came on for timing chain and fuel pressure sensor, and tire pressure light stays on. Also the A/C and heat do not work on the car.

I brought a 2015 528i with the dealer warranty and parked it. 2 weeks later I go to drive it cooling is low so I added some cooling. I tried to get in touch with the warranty company they sold me on multiple times through phone calls and emails no response and the transmission is gone on the car. I dropped it back to the dealer. They said theyll let me know something by Tuesday Ive heard nothing until I went to get my money back. THE WORST DEALERSHIP IVE EVER BEEN TO

They sold me a car with a Transmission gone After I bring it back a couple times they couldnt tell me the problem so I brung it to kia dealer and they told me I needed a new shift cable and a new transmission and they said after well go for there never go back again they would not let me trade in after 5 days of having it, they sold me a problem car still in kia shop for a while paying for a car i cant drive and the mechanic is not certified owner has told me when I took it back again i have that on video Terrible service. Let me start off my saying I am in LOVE with my 2012 Hyundai Veloster!! I purchased my car about a month ago and it’s the best car ever!! They even took my old car (2003 ford) which I was very happy about!!! John was very nice and wasn’t pushy at all, and the process was easy and painless. Highly recommend staying away. Bought a car from Raleigh pre-owned and had a decent experience at first; however, the car had nothing but problems soon after. The A/C had a large leak and the A/C only worked for about a week after the purchase, indicating that someone just charged the A/C long enough to get rid of it, rather than fix it. The worst part is that within a few weeks of owning the car, a check engine light popped up and upon diagnosing the problem I discovered LARGE amounts of metal in the oil. They sold me a car with the engine coming apart. I called them, trying to give them a chance to make it right, and was told they would do their best to help me out and theyd call the next day to work out details. A couple days after hearing nothing back, I called them back, only to be told we discussed it, and theres nothing we can do for you. Now I am out $3000+ for a new engine and other parts, and this is doing the labor myself. This would be a $5000 or more bill from a dealership. All this happened within weeks after returning home from a deployment. This is not the welcome home I had hoped for. Take your business elsewhere.

I recently purchased a 2006 Porsche Cayman from here. Overall my whole experience with them was quite good. The car was priced well below the rest of the dealers around, and I never really felt pressured into buying. They let me test drive the car 3 times without any issues arising, and when I asked them if I could get a pre-purchase inspection across the street they didnt mind at all. Some of the other reviews were arguing about how something went wrong on the car they purchased. My advice is if you looking to buy a car, whether it be at a small dealership like this, or a private party, always get an inspection for peace of mind, or to see if anything is amiss. Always cover your bases when buying a car. Nothing came up from my inspection except that it needed an oil change.Katherine was my sales person and she was really helpful and very accommodating. The woman who does the financing, whos name escapes me, was hilarious and a pleasure to work with. And the owner was a good guy, and even came down a touch on the price for me. They even did a absolutely fantastic job cleaning it before hand. A+ to whoever cleaned her up before I bought it.So overall, very happy.

Purchased a car from them that overheated on me on the way home and not one light in the car came on when this happened! called them and told them I wanted them to look at it and instead of having it towed to their shop they just sent out their mechanic to add antifreeze to it and have me drive it a little bit. After they did that and left I took the car to advance and had them hook it up to check for any codes even though the heck engine light was not on and found out the cars coolant thermostat was messed up and it had a small leak in the evaporator emissions system so basically they sold me a lemon would not recommend buying any vehicle a from them

Called about car I found on their website - spoke to Billy who was helpful and polite. I ended up buying a different car versus the one I had originally intended to purchase because of the advise & expertise shared by Billy. It was obvious my satisfaction was his top priority. He truly cared. I couldnt be happier and highly recommend!

If you like the stereotypical used car sales experience, complete with cliche I need to talk to my manager this may be your place.Take the car you want to get inspected. DO NOT tell them you are going to do this until you are there on the lot and ready to go.. THEN watch them like a hawk. They cleared the computer of all codes prior to an inspection to try and cover up problems.Ill never darken their door again.

I saw somethingi liked very quickly, c63 AMG Mercedes super SICK good price too. He let me and my pops drive it around test drive it. He made everything work for my price range and he even fixed / addressed the crack windshield that it had. (Very small crack in the windshield ) nothing crazy & he got the cracked fog light fixed for me as well ! He was very helpful and hooked it up ! Would recommend

Their cars are obviously purchased at the auction, rejects that real dealers wouldnt want. The cars werent even clean inside. Dont be fooled by the nice website - this is a two person operation. Unless you have bad credit or something, go to a real dealer and get a decent used car. Took me 5 minutes to realize that this place wasnt for me.

Bought a 2011 genesis from this “dealership” about 3 months ago. Since I’ve had it I’ve replaced the turbo, wheel bearing, A/C unit, radio (which they said they would replace), and my check engine light kicks on randomly. When it first started happening I had called up to the dealership when I still had my three month warranty with them and “none of the issues can be replaced under that warranty”. Never going back to this place and definitely don’t recommend anyone else waste their time either.

When I go to test drive a car, I clearly expect it to start when the keys are turned! That is unfortunately not what happened with their ‘13 Ford Escape. Their president of their company came walking back to the building stating he was going to get the jump box and at that point we just told him not to worry about it. He then had the nerve to say “ah well it will be better when it has a new battery”. Lol at that point I was thinking to myself the battery is dead, what else could be wrong with the car? Clearly we left and will not be purchasing from this company. Needless to say, first impressions really do matter, even with cars!

If I could give them 0 stars I would .I brought a white 2015 Nissan sentra from them on 2/27,6 days later the car starting making a weird noise so I took it to a mechanic . Only for him to tell me the transmission is bad and the transmission oil was dirty because they put something in it ... like everyone else said I wish I wouldve read the reviews on the place . So I called and told John what was going on and that the mechanic was standing right beside me, so he asked to speak to him ( the mechanic) John says to him would it help if I just put some oil in it ( not knowing he was on speaker phone ) . So the mechanic says no if needs to be fixed the right way and sent to the shop . .. they knew what was wrong with the car and still sold it to me ..PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE, THESE PPL DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR BEST INTEREST THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. If I didnt have a warranty I would be out of a car ..GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Be careful what you buy from them. I got a vehicle from them and complained of a noise they claim they fixed and would go away. Just three months ago I bought this vehicle. Now its breaking down gonna cost me almost $2000 I dont have when I gave them $6000. They lied over and over. Especially considering I bought a ford and questioned theyre mechanics experience and i was told he worked for ford for 20 years yet he chose to lie about what was wrong with the truck. They saw a fool coming and took advantage. Its all about business. A single parent of four is now out of a vehicle and $6000. Crooks they are. Dont trust their mechanic.

They also tried to make me pay to get the car towed back to their dealership.. these people are crooked do not buy from them!!!!!!

Terrible Customer Service!!My daughter and I drove 2 hours to look at their cars. When asked to test drive one of the cars the guy outside said to go inside and give the lady inside our drivers license. We did and was told you have 15 minutes! I questioned only 15 minutes to return the car? She said yes. Is that how you greet someone that just drove 2 hours to look at your cars? On Busy Capitol Blvd- how far can you go and return in 15 minutes? Seriously? What are they hiding or do they just have terrible inexperienced help. Either way it was a hint to me to just go somewhere else and after looking at some other reviews from people who purchased vehicles from them Im glad I did.

Deception at its finest!! Drove over 4 hours today to look at a car these guys had listed on their own website (as well as several other notable sites), as a luxury auto with very nice amenities. I called before I set out on this journey and upon arrival, it was very hard to even get anyone to help me. When they finally acknowledged my presence and brought the car around front, the radio didnt work, the heated/cooling leather seats, heated steering wheel and sunroof were non existent, the tires were of mixed tread and there was some paint damage hidden in the photos. When I questioned the absence of all of the features the ad promised, the salesman stuttered and said he would need to see the ad, so I pulled it up on my phone, pointing out the listed features to which he replied I guess the ad is incorrect and pretty much walked back inside. Needless to say, we left immediately. I wouldnt recommend these scammers to anyone!!!!!

SCAM ALART: Drove 2 hours to look at a ~$10k car, the car didnt have any of the luxury features they advertised on their website, the radio didnt work, the tires were mixed wear, was basically a stripped version of the car when they advertised it as a luxury edition. There was also visible damage that was hidden in photos, and the overall condition was dirty. I *politely* asked the sales clerk about it, he just looked at me and basically said it is what it is. It was hard enough to get him interested in helping at all. We just left. Very dishonest in the advertising, and their sales staff seemed to be burdened by us interrupting him. We were there maybe 25 minutes, but that was more than long enough. Dont waste your time.

Buyers beware this place is totally dishonest and a bunch of crooks. I purchased a 07 Van from them about 3 weeks ago, drive it home just to notice the next morning that all the oil leaked out. I called Megan the sales manager and she said to bring it in and she would have her mechanic fix it. After a couple of days we retrieved the vehicle and went home just to notice the very next day the same thing. We called her again and she said to take it back to her mechanic because they already paid for it. Once again we took it there and he called himself taking care of the problem. After driving the van for two days the transmission goes out. I called Megan once again just for her to tell me that they changed the fluids prior to us purchasing the vehicle ( LIES). We took the vechicle to a reputable shop and they informed us that ALL OF THE FLUIDS LOOK LIKE THEY WERE NEVER CHANGED, THEY WERE COMPLETELY BLACK AND ALL THE FILTERS WERE CLOGGED ( which we saw with our eyes). Nevertheless, its going to cost us more to fix this van, then what we paid for it. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM RALEIGH PRE-OWNED ON CAPITAL BLVD. THANKS FOR NOTHING MEGAN.

Purchased a BMW from Raleigh pre-owned. There are many negative reviews but please go check them out yourself. I love my car! There were a few things that needed fixing and John, Alain, and Katherine made sure they were addressed and fixed. They will negotiate prices by a LITTLE but you wont get a warranty if you do. I decided to pay the full price. I would recommend them. They are not crooks like some of these reviews say. Dont take everyones word go see yourself. Thank you all

Went to look at a Toyota Matrix. Barely greeted by anyone. They just handed us the key, didnt ask if we needed help. Looked at the engine and pretty much EVERYTHING was rusty. The floor mats were from a Mitsubishi, covered in leaves and dirt. The cherry on top, the CAR WOULDNT EVEN START. Yeah, a car that doesnt start is TOTALLY worth 7k. Raleigh Pre-Owned, more like Raleigh Lemon Lot.
