Great shop and an awesome selection. I was in town for a few days and googled local B&M shops. Based on the pictures I figured I’d give this one a whirl. I was not disappointed at all! I was greeted at the door with a warm welcome and, given a personal tour of the humidor with a descriptions of some of the shop exclusive sticks. Later to find out that my guide not only shared a similar taste palette but was also the owner. What an amazing experience. I will definitely be returning when I’m back in town.

Stopped by to purchase a humidor and a few cigars after finding this gem of a shop online. Greeted with a very warm welcome and felt instantly at home! Dave was friendly and clearly knowledgeable right from the start!I happen to know a bit about cigars, so Dave didnt have to walk me through all of the minutia regarding how humidors work, but he obviously knows his stuff! He found the exact humidor that I wanted and then made terrific recommendations for a selection of cigars to add. The shop is stocked with great product - but that doesnt compare to the shop humidor: stacks of a huge variety of cigars and cigarillos at a wide price point to fit every budget. Theres a wine shop next door and, although I didnt ask, my plan is to go back with my husband, get a bottle and a couple cigars and enjoy both on their patio: have to ask if thats ok first!If youre in the Raleigh area, dont waste your time going anywhere else! You will not only find what youre looking for here at Virgin Cigars, but feel welcomed and perhaps learn a thing or two from the staff! Thanks so much! Well be back soon!

Very friendly, informative and clean. The humidor is spotless, well organized and smells divine. Weve always been happy with the quality and price from this shop. They are practicing proper covid restrictions, which should be expected at this point- and not a reason to rate lower stars.

Great lounge that we visit every time we’re in the area. Fantastic selection in the humidor and very friendly staff who are knowledgeable and courteous. It is a members only lounge, but their options for out of state day passes are very reasonable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality cigars with a highly professional atmosphere.

My husband just recently started enjoying cigars, the service was great (cant remember the guys name that helped us.) It was very clean and nice inside and organized.

I stopped in for my first time on St. Paddys day. Immediately greeted by John, asked if I needed help, told him what I was looking for. He asked that I sanitize my hands and led me into the humidor. I mostly smoke flavored cigars primarily Drew Estates Acid and at most cigar shops the pickins are slim. Not here!! They had a full selection and types I have never seen in a store before. They also had other brands of flavored cigars. After showing me the selection, he handed me off to Dave to help with anything else. Most times when I go into a shop and tell them what I want Im met with an eye roll and a lazy Theyre over here. not here. Both men were professional and gave off a genuine sense of love of the product, not just as a job. I went in looking to buy a couple of cigars if they had my brand($40 to $50), I ended up leaving with around 15 cigars, a new humidor, and a few other goodies ($300+). Also since it was St. Paddys they were giving away a glass and a can of Guinness with a purchase of $25 or more. Great first experience!! 10/10 will return.

They had a nice selection and very fairly priced. Didnt go inside lodge you have to be a member and I was just passing by the area.

Virgin Cigars has a beautiful, immaculately well-kept lounge, a solid humidor selection full of good sticks at competitive price points, and lots of nice folks who are happy to help - or leave you be! It is truly a lovely place to spend an afternoon (or several).

My first time going was a few months ago. The customer service was very good, they made me feel right at home ( im not from the area out of state) and I thought the humidor has a excellent selection. Im back in town and I will be headed back.

The service was great. The prices were a bit high for me. The worst part is the cigar room is for members only. If you are not from the state then you may purchase a day pass for $20.

Amazing place! The people who worked there were extremely helpful. We went in knowing nothing about cigars and taught us everything we needed to know to enjoy them. When we walked in to the humidor room they again were right there to answer any questions!

Extremely friendly and well educated staff. I went in there only planning to spend $30-50 and ended up well over a hundred because of the selection and then having everything I wanted. I will def be going back. These guys are great.

New to the area and pre covid this was a great spot. Above average humidor, decent prices and great customers. However, this has denigrated into a private lounge excluding many of the regulars unless they pay exorbitant private member fees. I hope this model fails.

My favorite cigar lounge in the Triangle.

Be careful when buying cigars at this joint. If your planning on smoking a cigar at this location, good luck. They will let you buy all the cigars you want but, if you wanna smoke.. they will tell you to go smoke some where else. The white gentleman before was not asked to sanitize his hands but, when I walked in they where all over me..”sir! Sir! You need sanitize your hands!” Good ole boy environment.

Finally smoking my own cigars thought I try to find my taste. Jeffrey was very helpful and patient with me explained everything.

I was really disappointed and amazed after stopping in to buy a smoke and smoke it in the lounge. The man behind the counter said that the lounge was no longer open to the public but private membership. He wanted $20 to gain entrance for the day since I was now from out of town. He said the monthly dues was $150. Smoking cigars is an expensive hobby in itself without adding $150 more a month to the cost. I use to frequent this place often when I lived here and bragged about it to other cigar lovers. No more bragging but Ill talk about it.

Finally a shop on this side of town! Brought to you by the guys responsible for Empire and The Vault in Apex. Familiar cast of characters. The shop was only up a few days when I went but it stands to be a contender in terms of cigar selection and atmosphere.

I feel welcome every time I pop in, usually for a single cigar for the road. They have a great selection including many of my favorites from LFD, Oliva, Padron, and Arturo Fuente just to name some of the big hitters. They have cigars for every budget, in stock, and ready for you to swing by to enjoy.

This is one of the best cigar lounges Ive been to. Very friendly staff and clean lounge. I can go here, have a smoke, good conversation with other customers and leaves with the smell of cigar infused in my clothes. The negative pressure lounge is excellent.

Always a good selection, nice and well stocked walk in humidor, very knowledgeable staff, variety of cigar accessory products, reasonable prices, and great cigar lounge with 6 flatscreens showing all the premium sports channels - couldnt ask for a better place to buy and/or enjoy a good cigar. Convenient to the airport, and most of the Triangle via I540. Top quality but not pretentious, a must visit for cigar lovers in or visiting the Triangle. Since opening their private cigar lounge on 8/15/20 the place I thought couldnt get better just did! Top notch NYC/DC style private retreat with all the features one would expect!

Location - convenient. Staff - friendly & knowledgeable. Humidor - as big as a small apartment. Selection - the usual suspects with some darn good sleepers. Counter top w/ seating for noshing and conversing. Lounge with comfy chairs, big screen TVs, and the like. Outdoor seating with a few tables. Rumor has it you can BYOB for the full man cave experience when you need to run some errands.

Nice lounge for an after work smoke, very large selection reasonably priced with a comfortable and friendly lounge. Been coming here for a few weeks and loving it!

This place is like Cheers- everybody knows your name & you feel welcome every time!! I come here for the good people, they are my kind of people; make you laugh so hard you feel like you did an ab workout kind of people. You wont find a large collection of Fuentes like this anywhere in the triangle. Whether youre celebrating or its just been a long day I would highly recommend making this shop your first stop on the way home!

Came by for the first time on the morning of 4/3 looking for a decent lighter, met Oscar and the Brownstone Cigar Rep. Both treated me like theyd known me for years. Ended up buying two lighters and some smokes. Definitely visiting here on a regular basis.

As a woman who sometimes appears to be in her mid-20s and is admittedly newish to cigar smoking, Ive had a lot of experiences that were less than stellar. In the couple of years Ive been smoking, Ive had people talk down to me, call me little lady and the like, and assume that I was buying for a husband or boyfriend. That was not the case here.When I walked in, the first thing that struck me was how clean and spacious the store is, then that everyone behind the counter said hello. When I mentioned that Ive been smoking only a couple years and am finally building up a humidor, they handed me off to a gentleman who took his time to listen to what I do and dont like, what Ive had, and make some great suggestions. He was super knowledgeable and seemed to answer questions before I could ask them.The humidor is large, well-organized and well-stocked, and pricing is reasonable. There is a large lounge with TVs and a patio for smoking and socializing. Every staff member took a moment to personally introduce themselves and shake my hand, a welcome personal touch.I felt welcome and included, the staff is knowledgeable and helpful without the talking-down that Ive received at other stores, and as well-stocked and well-kept as any shop Ive seen.If you smoke cigars and are in the Raleigh area, you have to make a stop here.

The owner, Oscar, used to work at another cigar shop in Raleigh, before he started Virgin Cigars. Thankfully he stayed in the North Raleigh area. This is a great shop. The selection is good and the staff is helpful. There is also a lounge area where you can smoke inside.

Good place to go to get good cigars, with good people, and have good conversation. The owner is a very good at his job and takes care of his customers. Been a customer on his for over 5 years. Definitely no other place like it in the triangle area.

Had to get some work done on vacation and decided the best place to do work on vacation was a cigar lounge. Great Wi-Fi signal for larger data programs, an excellent selection of all the good and harder to find cigars, a really accommodating manager, nice chairs and polite smokers. Enjoyed a great San Cristobel here, and took more back to hotel.
