Outstanding experience at this establishment. my sons - 11 and 13 - recently got into coin collecting. Ken Jr. spent 90 minutes chatting with my sons and teaching them some coin collecting basics. This gentlemen one out of his way for what amounted to a four dollar sale.I unequivocally recommend NC Coppers.

In my opinion, NC Coppers is the best coin shop in the Raleigh area. Located in the Raleigh Fair Grounds, the store is open on Saturdays and Sundays. The owner, Ken Tireman Sr, is the most knowledgeable coin dealer in area. In addition to being highly knowledgeable about coins, he maintains a large inventory of US coins and paper money. I have regularly bought historical and modern US coins from Ken for several years and found him and his wife Lisa to be very friendly, honest, trust worthy and helpful. Ken buys and sells silver and gold coins and jewelry.

I called this guy a week after I sold gold to him and asked him a few questions about the price of gold which is about the same price now as it was last weekend and I got him to admit to me that he ripped me off for the amount of money that he gave me for the gold so if you do go here be very careful that you know what youre doing or he will take advantage of you I went to him because Im a veteran and hes a veteran so basically one of my own brothers ripped me off so be careful.

If you buy in bulk and are a frequent customer then his prices cant be beat.
