If you want a deli, bakery, produce or meats...Lowe’s Foods is the best I’ve found in the Clayton 40/42 area. Spotless bathrooms and Super Friendly staff too!

Overall a good store! They have the best sushi compared to the Lowe’s foods in apex and holly springs (they don’t sell sushi) and I even think they are better than Harris teeter. Their sushi Always tastes fresh and sometimes they have a nice man working the sushi so you can ask him to make a few rolls! They do buy one get one half off I believe on Wednesday’s so that’s a plus!

It is a clean bright store. I feel as though the vegetable selection is not up to par for a store of this size. And theyre are a lot of things that Im used to finding at the other big local chain that I couldnt find here.

A beautiful supermarket. I use the word beautiful because theres a bar in there. Yes sir. But beyond that its definitely a nice shopping experience... great store layout, really nice presentation of a great inventory. Little more pricey than teeters or lion, but its a much better level of quality.

A little expensive compared to something like Walmart, but the bakery/deli/meat dept are head and shoulders above the big box stores. I particularly enjoyed the sub sandwich I got from the deli cooler, it was one of the best subs Ive had since moving to the area. If you like wine and beer, they have a tremendous selection available. Check out is fast and convenient, with courteous cashiers and bag boys. Ill continue shopping there.

Although the groceries are way better; they only get 2 stars because they suck at bagging groceries. Put eggs in bottom of buggy. Mixes dry with frozen. Glass and cans causing glass to bust. Household with meats. Is there no pride to be had in expert bagging!?

I pick up Lowes foods to go here. Their shoppers do a wonderful job picking out groceries for me.

Ordered my sons High School Graduation cake at our local Lowes, was told when I ordered it they were out of the black plastic caps, but they would do it in black frosting, and it would look great. Asked for school colors (light blue and gray for writing and decorations) told no worries. Picked up my cake, complete white with light blue lettering that looked like it was written by a 10 year old with no prior cake decorating experience (No Gray anywhere) a light blue cap instead of black, told her I was very disappointed and was told there was no one still there to fix anything. Since it was 2 hours before graduation I really had no other options but take a completely substandard cake for our celebration. Sorry Lowes, complete fail for a store which claims it excels.

Trevor is an awesome cashier! He was very patient while having payment while having payment issues at check out. It probably took 5 to 10 minutes to resolve the issue LOL. I assume he’s a 16 or 17-year-old kid. But Trevor was very helpful and kind about it.

Best place...visiting from Colorado. Great when you can walk in a grocery store and have a beer. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Loved just walking around the store.

I hate coming to this Lowes, but its closer than the one in Garner. People who work here dont speak. I have lived in 5 states so far in my adult life and I have never experienced shopping, particularly in a supermarket, where the employees can walk by you with out a smile, hello, hell can I help you find something. Its weird...and raw undercooked chicken from the hot bar in the back

Turn right and head straight to the deli, chicken counter but don’t forget the cornbread rounds, fresh salad bar, pizza, subs, sushi, bakery AND there is a welcoming little beer/wine tasting area.

Just wanted to complement one of your employees named Shawn. He works in the Deli. I was in a hurry one day and Shawn was able to fill my request efficiently and in a courteous manner. He is an asset to Lowes Food!

Been very surprised with Lowes lately. Out of many items. When I asked about it, it seems this is not the stores fault as they only have limited control over the stock sent to the store, even when the store orders products. I wonder what will happen once the new Food Lion opens.

They didnt have what I wanted already made (pizza counter) so one young man taught another how-to do it. I also picked up some sushi good stuff (but I do prefer the guy at food lion on cleveland). But always polite and helpful folks at lowes .

Great grocery store. Some things are priced better at other stores, such as some vegetables and especially the meat department. Its nice to be able to sip a cocktail while doing your weekly grocery shopping. Store is always so clean and organized and everyone is friendly.

I love this place for its quality selection. There is a lot of stuff here you just cant get at cheaper places, like hand made sushi (Not packaged junk) or even dry-aged steak! Expect to spend more money here than, say, Walmart, but expect to find more. I particularly like the alcoholic ice-cream that I frankly cant find elsewhere.

Always eager to help, point in the right direction, gets online orders correct, and overall is a pleasant store to give my business too. Also has the change machine, Coinstar, and two REDBOX machines. These are available inside, out of the heat, cold and rain. Also, a special THANKS to ALL employees who help when my parents, who are disabled, are in the store. This gives me a min to go taste a local brew at the instore watering hole. love that!! This store is always well kept and the staff is very helpful, especially the florist who makes me the best arrangements of flowers when I pick out different bouquets that I want.

Sorry, thats twice now that I bought filets at more than 20 dollars a pound and they were greyed and smelly. Got ready to grill out in the rain and had to get in the car drive and take them back. At least the new ones didnt stink but filets shouldnt be tough like tire rubber which they were

The best and cleanest grocery store around. Not just your average grocery store. You can sit down and enjoy a brew while your partner shops or visit the florist. An awesome florist at that. Example; Its Valentines Day weekend and my wife loves Stargazer lillies, I called 5 florist and none had any available. Stopped here and they had a whole section of lilleys from a local grower. Saved not just Valentines but our anniversary also. 😊 Love this place even more now. Worth my drive everytime.

After moving right up the road, this store became my regular grocery store. Good products for a decent price. My only complaint is that the organic options are sold out more often than not, and that there arent very many organic fresh produce options. Other than that, 5 stars all day

We started using Lowe’s Foods to go amid the COVID pandemic because grocery shopping became very stressful. It’s been a great routine that we will probably continue even after the pandemic.Lowe’s Foods is not as budget-friendly as food lion or Walmart but the quality of the items are very fresh and their to-go is the most user-friendly and efficient.I love being able to meal plan and search for items instead of having to browse through crowded aisles. Even though the products are a tad more expensive, the program has saved us money because we meal plan so much better and don’t waste as much food. It’s easier not to make impulse purchases.The staff has always been cordial and our orders are almost always ready in time. Even when they’re not, it’s never a problem because we grocery shop on our day off.

Lowes Foods is well stocked, clean, has wide aisles and very pleasant staging and personnel. The produce is always fresh and they carry many gluten free items not carried by other stores. Would gladly give them 5 stars except theyre a little pricier than say Food Lion. Now Im feeling guilty for not giving them 5 stars!!

Great store, fantastic produce, meats, seafood and bakery. Name brand dry goods are generally cheaper elsewhere, but sometimes its worth it to pay a little more to get it all in one trip.

Love the deli counter. Not lunch meats, Delish Boars Head. Employees are very polite and helpful.

One of the cleanest well stocked grocery stores around. Even through the crisis the store did their best to find substations as many items were hard to get. The produce is always fresh and there is a good variety.

Just a little dissatisfied that they havent stocked Dungeness crab in the last few months ( to my knowledge). I keep checking to no avail. Otherwise, my shopping experience there has been great and they are at least 35 minutes from where I live!

Friendly staff and usually not too crowded. They always seem to have what you need and the beer den is great for a long shopping trip. Good to go food as well. Only reason they dont get 5 starts is that they are usually a little higher in price on things. All in all a great place though

The self checkout that I used sucked. The ice cream wouldnt scan, the cashier for these didnt go check the price . Then it wouldnt take my ebt card.

I lovevthis store! The staff, throughout, is very accommodating and thoughtful. The store is spotlessly clean and the produce and meat selections have lots of variety.

The people that work there, the people you meet there is like family that are shopping there as well. When you first walk in, you are greeted with a beautiful display of color of fruits & vegetables & flowers. The display of all the vegetables are arranged so every item brightens up that area. They have all the brands that I use whereas area grocery stores are deleting them & putting in their own brands which I do not like. As the saying goes, Im too old to change. There is one area that concerns me & I am not the only one, wishes they would move their product aisle signs to the front of the aisle like it used to be. It is hard to read now since they remodeled. Also, some say their prices are too high but love the store. Maybe you could be a little more competitive as far as pricing with the other area grocery stores. It is a beautiful store with beautiful employees. The employees go out of their way to help you also which is wonderful. I just love going there. Its like going home.

Every time I go there, people are walking around the store without masks on. If you have health issues, stay out of this store. A safer bet is Food Lion or Walmart down the street.

WARNING: Maskless Employees:I have imuno-compromised family members, we are very observent of employees where we shop. There are stores we no longer visit due to the lack of mask wearing. Lowes USE TO BE 100% compliant, and this location is closest to us. But TODAY, at check out 2 employees only wore visors without a mask. The CDC clearly states that visors are not acceptable... and in a grocery store they funnel the employees exhalations down and onto the food we are buying!I rubbed everything down with rubbing alcohol at home and called a manager at the store to confirm if this is a new policy. It appears to be. His reply indicated it was okay for employees to choose a visor.In combnation with a mask, visors are helpful, but offer NO PROTECTION to others.Ill quote here, A face shield is primarily used for eye protection for the person wearing it. At this time, it is not known what level of protection a face shield provides to people nearby from the spray of respiratory droplets from the wearer. There is currently not enough evidence to support the effectiveness of face shields for source control. Therefore, CDC does not recommend use of face shields as a substitute for masks.UPDATE: Corporate contacted me and said they are allowing employees to wear a sheild without a mask with a doctors note, but not all locations have employees taking advantage of this. As cases rise, masks are necessary. Studies you can see now, show masks DO NOT reduce oxygen levels AT ALL. I also know I can pester my doctor for a note should I want to. I will not shop at this store location. I beleve their decision is wrong.

This particular Lowes Food is packed with good things. The food is of high quality, with some of the best sheet cakes and produce in the area. The store layout and decor is pleasing. The staff is friendly and helpful. I think you pay a bit more than you would at Food Lion. The shopping plaza they are in boasts a restaurant, a hardware store, and a gas station. Easy in and out.

I used to absolutely hate going to the grocery store but that is no longer the case this store is top notch. All of the staff are so polite, helpful, and are great with my kids. Then add in that I can snag a beer and the wife a mimosa prior to shopping call me a happy customer! My family is also happy because with daddy walking care free sipping my beer they can through whatever they want in the buggy!!!
