Im sharing my experience because it was so heart touching and amazing. I think that employees need to be recognized when they go over and beyond their duty. When I entered the Food Lion Im a disabled senior citizen a manager named Angie was standing there at the self checkout watching you know the shoppers. I asked her if there was someone that could help me I needed to get four cases of water she immediately told Alexis to get a cart and help me. Well Alexis not only helped me get the four cases of water Alexis stayed with me and showed me where everything else in the store was that I needed. She would not leave my side. Being a disabled senior citizen I thought that was so amazing this young lady caring about an older lady. When I finished shopping she said go in this line right here and I was introduced to Calvin the cashier he was so nice ringing my items up. Alexis then escorted me outside to my car help me put all my things in my trunk and she told me leave the scooter and someone would come back to get it she took the cart back inside. Calvin came back to retrieve the scooter and I just thought that they was so awesome and I just wanted to let everybody know this is the treatment that I received at this Food Lion. I left with a smile on my face I felt SPECIAL THAT DAY. GREAT JOB ALEXIS & CALVIN.❤️😊

Cashier was friendly and discrite when my card was declined. We worked it out and I was grateful for her and her manager

This is actually quite a nice Food Lion. They have really stepped up their game over the years, continued to add new items. The strip mall that it is a part of is a bit outdated and not the most family friendly. Most of the staff that I’ve interacted with are really friendly. Overall, a good experience and thankful to have a convenient grocery store location in East Raleigh

Pretty good store. The produce section is not the largest but with what they carry, it is usually very fresh. Store is clean and cashiers are always friendly.

The cashier was very friendly. They are very busy, so they need more registers opened, they only had 2!! But, the cashiers were very fast and did a great job so were able to get everybody checked out rather quickly.

The state of NC has a mandatory mask order through our Governor. Every, single time I step into this location (1100-122 Raleigh Blvd), I see multiple patrons without masks on & employees wearing their masks incorrectly. Whoever manages this location is not ensuring the safety of community members.

I shop here regularly Food Lion is like my store. This one is closest to my house. On my last trip there was a Hispanic lady trying to leave when I was checking out. Most of her things were in bags she had a few heavier items on the bottom of her cart. the manager stopped her and rang up the bottom items insisting she was trying to steal them. The manager did not ask to see her receipts did not speak with the cashier at the register she had just left. She just made her pay for the items. It was clear that the lady did not speak English well, this just rubbed me the wrong way. there is a way to go about things and to handle things of that nature. Without looking at her receipt there was no way to know for sure if those items have been rang up or not. I have witnessed a few other times management was downright rude and disrespectful to customers at this particular location. I dont think Ill be shopping here here again. Also for whatever reason theyre Western Union is always down

The produce section at this food lion is top notch. It is just as good if not better than whole foods and trader joe. The produce manager I believe Reggie is professional, kind and he is a true leader. I have watched him work his area and I am so impressed. The fruits and veggies are awesome and fresh. I found things that I cant even find at the other food lions and some other grocery stores. Let me tell you, if the produce manager and his crew arent getting big raises, that would be a disservice because the produce section is immaculate and is why I shop at this food lion. I am very impressed!

Every time someone takes a grocery cart all the way to the grocery cart return area, I want to clap and say thank you out loud.Head nod to the two dudes on the bench outside the front door yelling at everybody is they go in and out of the grocery store. Brightens my day every time I hear their graveley voices.The parking lot is Never full. Im not sure why people insist on parking in the fire lane right outside the front door. But if it makes them happy and it makes them feel special, Im just fine with it.There were three kids who live across the street theyre today shopping for Kool-Aid and candy. When they saw the lines were long, they realized it might be a moment or two before they got to the corn syrup they carried. A line opened up beside me, and the person in front of me gestured for me to jump in it and be first. I barked at the kids, telling them to jump in front of me. At one time they may have needed the armed security guard standing by the front door. And I do not begrudge the man his job. But Im happy to report that I dont think he needed any more. Maybe they can put him out in the parking lot Gathering the shopping carts it dont make it to the cart return.

I was treated quite unfairly..I am a 40 yr old man and was berated for identificationAfter I asked employee why she carded me and not the white person before me purchasing beer? She said because of my clothes...I shop at this store everyday and was appalled I was treated in this manner ..

Don’t come here if ur in a rush or at work. Lines to the back of the store, employees walking around doing nothing with only 2 registers open

This store has really made some great improvements. The store is clean well stocked and organized. The staff is very friendly and actually speak to you with a smile.

I have shopped this Food Lion for many years and I love it! I especially appreciate the cashiers who have an unenviable job. Caine is one of my favorites; always friendly, polite, quick and helpful. Great attitude.

This is a good place for some groceries, and you can find food lions really close to everything. Not the best price but good quality. Some attendants are not great, but quite a few are.

I asked a FL employee where the seasoning was for beef stew was and he acted like I interrupted him and showed me to the taco seasoning and walked into the back. The store has come up to par so much with customer service I have to forgive this incident.

I like the convenient location. The hours are perfect for early morning runs, 7a-9p. It is an older Food Lion but well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I was visiting Raleigh NC recently visiting a friend and needed some groceries so I stopped into the Food Lion. Overall it looks like a very nice store! One employee was not wearing a mask and I saw them openly sneeze onto a customers cart ! SO DISGUSTING!! Ill never return there and I should have reported them to the manager. The other employee called them Caden, thats all I know .But in this era of covid and its spread, you would think the management would properly train their employees... Yuch! I hope no one gets sick from this one bad employee!!

I ABSOLUTELY love the TEAM at this Foodlion location! I have lived in this area for over 2 years and their friendliness, smiles and willingness to help is consistent. People ask why I shop here over Harris Teeter near by... THIS is exactly why, BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Awesome groceries my family comes here all of the time! I must admit Im a fan of the new additions the have added lately and an amazing selection to top it all off. The people are too friendly and the Atmosphere is welcoming I think every one should take food lion into consideration when looking for groceries to buy at a reasonable price and when you need to just run in and out its easy too. They have everything from milk to feminine products

The deli manager is really rude very dissatisfied in the way he holds himself.However the assistant deli manager is really really nice👍🏻 more helpful than the actual manager.

My family has had nothing but trouble with this store. We have been followed, profiled and harassed by the employees, and security guards. Its convenient but they are rude and have horrible manners at this store.

Employees must have a good training especially Caine who does not know how to treat customers well only had to help collect my products well and from the beginning he did it badly and did not care to tell rudeness to an older person

People park in the fire lane everyday, the store allows it. Kind of a sketchy place, its the only grocery store, I have seen that locks up the febreze air fresheners. The staff is great but most of the customers are quite different. The whole shopping center needs a make over and outside security. There is an armed officer inside.

Food lion needs to check there produce more often because I found many times the tomatos where soft and brusid and they don t need to use the large floor of vaccum in the middle of the day

Far from the best Food Lion in the general Raleigh area.Some staff are friendly, but I have had run-ins with a few who were less than professional.The main problem appears to be the general location of the store itself. There are constantly people loitering in and around the parking lot and this is probably the only Food Lion I have shopped at that actually requires a uniformed LEO to be on constant security duty.
