Of this store chain, this one had the most veriety of music books. Hell, I bought a Tcherepnin bagatelles while I was there. That said, I get why this is, but they charge you more than whats on the back. My book says 6.95 on the back, but theyll charge you 8 for it. I noticed Sam ash does this too, and it makes sense since those Hal Leonard books were printed like 30 years ago, but still, bad taste

I liked their selection of beginner guitars, but disappointed they did not carry Aquila Ukulele strings... I was actually considering buying a mini stratocaster for my daughter (the price was right) until the busybody behind the counter informed me I was not wearing my mask to his liking... Sorry bud, I will take my business elsewhere. Sometimes you should just keep quiet.
I called the store at 820pm because one of the strings on my daughters violin popped. I explained to Doug everything including that my daughter had a concert the next day. They close at 9p. He told me that he would definitely be able to help me if I arrived before 9p. I arrived at 850p. He gladly pick out the correct sized strings and changed them all for me. He never made me feel like I was a bother or that I was wasting his time. He had such great customer service and overall great skills with the instrument. He quickly changed the strings all while engaging in a lovely conversation with me!! This was an awesome experience!!!

This is the second time we have had an instrument need repairs and it is taking more than 2 weeks to hear anything. In fact after talking to a store employee he said work has not even begun on my sons trumpet and they have now had it 14 days. The loaner is not great either and after asking about a new loaner there arent any. I just wish they would be upfront with how long repairs will actually take.
Do not use this company!! We have be renting for 3 years and we have had problems with the instrument since it is USED to begin with. Even the loaner instruments are in poor condition and do not play properly. Now we have this used rent to own instrument that we will continue to have problems with. Do business elsewhere!
A scam. They let you “rent” a cheap instrument and claim it’s worth thousands of dollars. Then add fees, insurance etc. definitely go elsewhere. Really upset Wake County schools use them.

We have rented from Music & Arts for the past three years. Its been a mess to say the least. Our accounts are never accurate, the store has no clue has to resolve any account issues, the forget key items like bows and/or give us damaged items when we upgrade, & they are unresponsive. I wouldnt recommend using them for your musical needs!
Music and Arts staffers have provided sincere customer service and top quality instruments to our children since 2013. We will continue to patronize the location near Triangle Towne Center and spread the word of their down to earth, very knowledgeable team.
I have Cerbral palsy and it affects my right side . Miss A is caring and works well. She lets me bring ideas and question to her attention. Great price for 1/2 class.
Out of teach yourself guitar kits for Christmas, but staff put one together with everything I needed.
Our eight-year-old son has been taking music lessons here for the last few months and we have been very pleased. They have a flexible instrument rental program which allows the student to try a few different instruments to find the best fit for their temperment and skills. Mr. Our sons teacher, Mr. McNeill, is great at finding the right balance between teaching the fundamentals and accomodating the attention span of a child.
Do not order anything online from the store.Horrible customer service you would be on hold for 45 minutes before you can speak to someone. I ordered a piano, it came damage I tried calling after being on hold for 45 minutes I hung up then I sent an email no response tried calling again leaving a message no one has gotten back to me.
Always been positive experience. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.
