First time at a Harbor Freight. Came for an entry level engine hoist I saw online. Great store and insanely good customer service. Tyree was a huge help. Chill personality and helped me load my car. Ill be back again soon!! And Tyree had better be there.

The best value on epoxy and zip ties. Now the floor manager or whatever named Tony, I had to call corporate headquarters on him. Sometimes you have to bite your tongue and do your job.

This is one of my favorite hardware stores, hands down. They are always jamming. They have good staff, who work like crazy. But they are always polite and helpful. They want you to have a good shopping experience. You can find a specific tool for a certain job/project you might be working on. If you cant find it ask, some one will find it it they have it. If they are out usually it has been ordered, and theyll say it will be a day or two, or next week or whenever it is due. In fact Im heading there soon.

Best harbor freight store in the area. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Each team member is on top of things and always ready and willing to make sure you find the solution to your project and the tools you need to finish! All of the staff are ong the best.

Slowest service ever. Not that we got any service as we walked out. Mark the cashier was completely useless. If you dont know how a card reader works or know how to wear a face mask correctly by now, then you are obviously mentally challenged and this job is just too much for you to handle.Get some hustle into serving your customers and make an effort into actually doing your job.

Staff are always helpful whenever I need to know if an item is in stock, and Im glad they remind people of battery + tool + charger sales going on whenever you are buying a cordless tool!Also, Ive had nothing but hassle-free returns at this location. My 3/8 Pittsburgh Torque wrench binded up, and I got it replaced, no questions asked!

Ive been an Insider member for more then a year now. I must say that Harbor Freight a great place to shop for tools. Even if your a housewife, sub contractor, handyman or hobbyist. Ive bought generators from them and they work great but remember to ground your generators by driving a copper or brass rod into the ground then use a 6 awg copper wire as a ground between them. Our latest addition was buying the 10 x 17 canvas tent. It had worked out so well we just added another one.

I often visit the Harbor Freight in Raleigh, and they are always ALWAYS very helpful. I had to get a rain check for a multi-function ladder on Black Friday. When I returned to purchase, the cashier, Willie, asked what I needed and called the manager, Tony, for assistance. They were still unloading the truck so they asked me to come back in about an hour. When I returned, they had the ladder waiting up front, check out was painless, and they loaded in the car.I cant say enough about their customer service. Always an awesome crew! Thank you.

The manager, Tony, is probably the worst customer service person I have felt with in a very long time. I bought a concrete mixer for my company. The motor burned out with in 3 hours of its first use. I called and asked for help. He proceeded to tell me that it was 80%my fault because I didnt have my receipt on me. As a responsible business owner, I put my receipt in an envelope and have it at my house. Im nowhere near my house. I am near the shop. This young man is a clown to say that to someone. No wonder people dont buy stuff from there. The products suck and the help is just as bad

Great place for cheap tools. Cant beat it for the price. Wouldnt recommend the jack stands here though.

I spend a lot of money on this place in the past but since this manager named TONY started to work as manager I saw a lot of bad experience with him not treating customers right the first one was my brother a while back then I saw different situations with different people and the last one was me I one a mecanic shop I tell as many people as possible not to go there and also they told me theirs experience so I do NOT recommend this place anymore to nobody

Great selection of tools at very good prices. I have bought a bunch of tools especially when they sent coupons for items I need. Get on their mailing list and you will get the coupons. Cashiers are usually friendly and helpful. The reason I gave 4 stars was the lines to checkout are always long and it seems like it takes a long time to check out and there is not room in the check out area for all the people that are in this place. Attached picture is an air reel I bought recently on a coupon for $57, great deal.

Called ahead to insure item I wanted was in stock, wish they had a store in Smithfield, but employees were curious and helpful, and got what I was after.

I had to get safety glasses for work. I had yellow and dark tinted safety glasses from Harbor Freight Id bought years ago. I wanted clear ones. Usually I go to this store with my husband, but this trip was solo. This store was neat and clean and practicing social distancing. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. In the pictures the safety glasses are under my regular glasses because the design is wrap around and seal close to the face.

Exactly what I needed when I needed it. Customer service is sketchy, hopefully the RIGHT employee will be there to answer your questions. Possibly couldve been a new guy that day I went. But whomever he found to assist was very helpful. I will always come here first to find tools.

Typically very inexpensive compared to stores like Home Depot or Lowes if you don’t mind using off-brands. Perfect place to get small hand tools at half the price. They seem to have something for everyone in there.

Not what they used to be. It seems theyre cheap tools are getting less reliable quality are marketing their expensive tools which we might as well just buy from the expensive places.

What’s not to love about Harbor Fright. As a full time mechanic I rely on tools to make my living everyday and many of those in my box are from Harbor Fright. Quality tools at an affordable price. Don’t sale your soul to the tool truck when you can get great tools here. Our Raleigh location has any amazing staff also.

Great place to get all kinds of tools at lower prices than youd find elsewhere. Ive saved a lot of money here, and the staff is helpful as well. There is a dip in quality, but its normally acceptable. The only downside is that stock is sometimes low, and the website doesnt tell you stock levels. I have gone once or twice to find that the item I needed wasnt there. On the whole, Im very happy with Harbor Freight!

Great place for throw away tools that you can use once and if they break you can afford to toss out!! There is no customer support at this location. All employees are running around trying to avoid interacting with customers even the manager was stocking shelves and had a bad attitude when I asked for something in the back. The lines are extremely long and they ask everyone for their email or personal address to send flyers. They need to get better customer service here and it would be 5 stars. But you get what you pay for.

Harbor Freight is great! I wish I knew about it a long time ago as I now shop here rather than Home Depot or Lowes for most things. Great quality tools with out the name brand at much cheaper prices.

I like HF Ive never had a problem with their tools. The only drawback is not enough registers for checkout when their busy.

Pretty good selection for the most part. Although didnt have mini portable jacks or much of a lug wrench selection. No one offered to help even though I clearly couldnt find what I needed. I did hear the supervisor tell someone to practice 6 feet, so that was nice.The online coupon didnt apply to the jack either

This is store is my first pick whenever I need some tools for my DIY projects. The items are in good qualities and way cheaper than other stores.

We love harbor freight tools and go in there at least once a month this time they only had two cashiers a long line and the cashier was rude . The gentleman I ask for help finding something was even ruder I just dont get it I understand long days long hours long lines but why would you only have two cashiers on a weekday.

Let me tell you about these wonderful people. My fiance and I went in this morning and they were having a huge labor day sale. Super busy. We were buying a trailer and already knew that they might not have it in stock. We had a coupon but didnt read the fine print that this coupon didnt work on trailers. My fiance had gotten money from his parents for his birthday and thats all the money we had (things are pretty tight right now). Tonya, the cashier was super apologetic and we assured her it wasnt her fault. We went to look at the other trailers to see if a smaller one would fit our budget. Two minutes later, Don, the general manager asked if we needed any help (Tonya had called him without us asking) and he found us a coupon that saved us MORE money than we would have with our previous coupon. Not only did we get the trailer but Don and Tony both waited (even with the store being super busy, helping customers when they could) for us to bring our car up and they both helped my fiance put the trailer in our car. We are two very happy customers and they have wonderful customer service. I will call the toll free number as well because they all deserve recognition. Thank you, the three of you, for making our day.

A good place for a wide selection of mostly low priced tools. Some of the items here are really good quality. And some offer a good value being reasonable quality at a low price. Look for coupons to get better deals. Go online and sign up or download.

Save yourself the trouble and dont go to this one. Tony, the manager, is rude and confrontational for no reason. Saw him do it with a couple of customers and then tried it with me. That guy should not be dealing with customers, and you should not be shopping at this store if you dont want to be needlessly hassled.

Great place for tools or power tools, cheap too. The ole saying you get what you pay for.Doesnt always apply these days, things have changed.Here at harbor freight supplies come from all over the world. And gladly not just china, they have a no hassle return policy too. I shop for tools that I my only need one time or two. Though my small drill press, dual wood sander, and more came from Harbor Freight.

Easy access. Sometimes a bit hard to find products but clerks are always helpful. Disappointing that they are going upscale. I prefer the lightweight inexpensive tools because they are often bought for one job only.

Harbor Freight was awesome! I was having a difficult time finding a solution for the correct size cable crimpers for my railing project. After going to Home Depot three times, to no avail, I finally contacted Harbor Freight and got Don, the store manager. He knew exactly which product would work for my project and helped me get the project completed, with the right tools quickly and successfully. I will definitely be back again soon!

Harbor Freight is a great place to find some killer deals on tools of all kinds, from pneumatic to welding and everything in between. Some items are so awesome, you wonder how they afford to sell it at that price. Other items...well...not so great. But if you need a one-time use tool or youre new to a particular trade, this is an excellent place to start your journey. If youre well experienced, youll learn which products to avoid and which are are unbeatable bargains. Me? I cant leave without at least 4 items in my basket. Love it.

First time in this store. Like one in Rocky Mount too. Employees were awesome. Rocky mount my regular harbor freight. Both stores has great prices and costumer service really great.

Great prices and assortment of trades specific tools. If you are in the trades you need to at least stroll through and check out their inventory. They had a sale on cargo straps they were about half the price of the big box hardware stores. If you are a superintendent or foreman responsible for purchasing tools and supplies go take a look.

Awesome store and employees... Only problem its addictive!

I had purchased a replacement plan on a tent I had bought. Unfortunately, the tent broke down. When I had to bring it back, I was delighted that the cashier promptly handled the exchange/replacement with no hassle whatsoever. Sometimes places make it hard to return things, but this was the easiest and most painless process ever! And she did it all with great customer service and a smile on her face. I will absolutely shop here again.

Great place if you just need some decent but extremely cheap and affordable place. The tools wont last as much as other brands but youll save more over time. They do have a great warranty in place just in case you dont have to much faith.

I actually have fun in there. Such a variety of tools, garden things, extension cords at great prices. My favorite part is getting free stuff with coupons! I bought solar yard lighting that I enjoy so much.Free stuff: flash lights, zip ties, tarp, box cutters etc

The workers were very helpful. I was sent directly to the tool I was looking for. A friendly lady, who was off work that day but still shopped at her job,offered me a coupon and saved me half the amount. Im very greatful.
