I love with this place is doing!! We stop in almost every time were in the mall because this is such a display of the variety and beauty found right below our feet!! If you enjoy rare treasures, this is the place to stop and even if youre not planning on buying anything its just an incredible sight to behold - petrified wood giant geodes fossilized dinosaur bones and even meteorites!!! Shout out to the owner for making such a cool idea come to life. Highly recommended this store 👌

Great find! Large selection of high quality gem stones and fossils. A small area in the back of the shop is dedicated to lower priced items. I plan to return and see what is available during the next visit.

Ive known the owners Charles and Jacob since the first store opened and they have always been extremely friendly, knowledgeable and will go out of their way to offer options and get you exactly what you want, even when you may not know what it is! From the inviting atmosphere, to the wonderful employees to the now 3 locations across Raleigh/Durham, Mineralogy is here to stay and I couldnt be happier to have found this shop to build my collection.

Beautiful stones, minerals and even fossils and megalodon shark teeth! Something to find in every price range, from large stunning crystals some running over $300 to polished stones you can fill a bag with for less than $10. Many pieces show where they were found at or mined from in addition to their geologic history. Very interesting store, rock hounds beware and be careful because if youre like me youll want to take home everything you see!

Mineralogy is my FAVORITE store to visit. The owners are so kind and helpful too. If you have any questions, any at all, about the merchandise just ask! My sister and I learned so much talking with Charles; he knew the story behind every piece in detail. Ive already bought several things from this store and I definitely plan on buying more ♡ Museums arent the only way a person can enjoy a true piece of history; Mineralogy lets you take that bit of history home. If this sort of thing interests you, you should definitely visit.

I havent been out shopping since mid-March.I emailed the store asking about a certain stone, they took some pictures and emailed them back super quick. I asked if they could just pick out some for me and mail it. Then I was like, when is a non-busy time to come in.They assured me the store, South Point, was the first store as you walk in between Macys and Nordstroms, and that customershave been good about wearing masks. I finally decided to venture out. After all that, and picking some real beauties, I forgot my debit card!! The two ladies in the store were super sweet, understanding and knowledgeable about my questions!! I realized for this kind of purchase, I wanted shop in the store instead of using Amazon or Etsy, etc.Thanks!! LJ

The owner, Charles spent a lot of time with us. He shared a ton of information and was great with our young son. The store is well merchandised and has a huge selection at all price points. They have a great store for rocks/minerals. They have polished stones, larger display stones, and rough stones. We purchased a few Geodes and were extremely pleased with how they looked inside. The staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and will go out of their way to help you. Being a amateur rock collector it is a great local place to go. Will be visiting them again soon. Ive been to both locations in Crabtree Valley Mall, and Triangle Town Center.

The guy (I think hes the owner) is awesome and very knowledgeable. Ive bought several small things from here, and once I have the funds plan to make some bigger purchases.

Okay so I’m new to crystals and crystal healing amazed and eager to explore this new world I had to begin a collection of my own 🌿🙏🏽 I live in rocky Mount which is about 45 minutes out of town. i found out about this store On google made the trip. I spent over 65 almost 70 bucks on different pieces rough stones some tumbled stones some jewelry and some BS baked as citrine. After some time and research I have learned my pieces are not authentic. I also. Went to see a crystal healer who said that my tiny citrine point purchased from this store felt like a piece of glass 😢

Lots of selections to choose from and for every and any occasion you can think of.Now I went to the one in Crabtree Valley Mall and I cannot tell you how hypnotic the atmosphere was to me. Ive learned so much and seen so much that now I want to become one of those geologists you see on National Geographic. In fact, maybe Ill be one of those Zen masters to align my chi with certain gems. Ok, but honestly this is a great place to visit if you ever want to immerse yourself into the world of gems and minerals. They even got fossils for those who are into ancient world history. So grab your invisible pickaxe and start heading to this store where the only mining youll be doing is through your eyes.
