Excellent service, fair pricing for parts & labor, and they did not try to upsell me on anything I didnt need. I needed to replace my tires, but their distributor didnt carry what I needed, so they simply installed the tires I bought from Cycle Gear. All work was completed in a professional and timely manner. I recommend them to anyone needing service/repair work on their motorcycle or ATV.

I found top dead center cycles online after reading through all of their five star reviews. I have a 2001 Honda VTX that had been sitting. After speaking with Brandie she arranged for Brett to come out and pick up the motorcycle at my home. He arrived on time and explained the process to me clearly. In about four days I received a call from Brett and he put their technician Tim on the phone to explain the details. Once Tim had explained to me everything that was needed Brett got back on the phone and gave me the price. Once I gave them the go ahead to bike was ready the following week. When I arrived to pick it up my motorcycle it was ready and waiting for me. Timtook a few moments to explain the upcoming maintenance that would be needed on the bike and I was ready to ride. I want to thank the staff at Top Dead Center Cycles for getting me back on the road.

I have found my new motorcycle repair shop. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. Brandy was my first contact and able to get me scheduled in for my initial appointment. Once J arrived I met Tim (the mechanic) and Brett (the owner). I could see they were busy but they took the time to really help me understand the issues the issues with my bike and to help me decide the best course of action. I really appreciate you guys and I will be telling everyone I know to try you guys out!

Top Dead Center Cycles is a without a doubt a 5 star shop. Ive got a 76 FLH that Ive taken to them a couple times, most recently was to swap out my old 4 speed to a new Baker 6 speed transmission. As you can imagine with a 44 year old motorcycle upgrading and modifying is not a plug and play endeavor. They communicate throughout the entire process offering different solutions and associated cost with each one. It allowed me to make an informed decision on what direction I wanted to go and how much I wanted to spend. Their cost estimates were really close as well so no surprises along the way. I brought the bike home last night and.... WOW!!! The new transmission is super smooth and the bike runs great. Brett and Tim know how to do it right! The shop is clean, organized and professional. I have to give a special shout out to Tim, this guy is an amazing technician. New or old, 2 wheels or 4 wheels, American or import, he knows his stuff. The knowledge that this guy has is impressive. You can trust TDCC for quality work at a fair price no matter what you ride!!! Thanks guys!!!

I came across TDCC in a discussion with a guy I work with. He had a background for working on bikes for a time in Florida so when he said they did great work on his tires it was like gold standard praise. I put them on my list of places and when the time came to get the tires put on I bought the tires and brake pads in advance and scheduled an appointment.A marker of a good shop that has grown word of mouth is how busy they are. When I pulled up I could tell they are definitely the go to shop for a great many peoples motorcycles and four wheelers. Finding a good MC mech is hard. Ive heard plenty of horror stories about other places not putting the sticky weights on or maybe not tightening the bolts properly for a tire replacement. On a MC this can range from annoyance to life and death. So seeing the great many people that trust TDCC helped me know further, I had made the right call.I met with Tim and eventually with Brandi, both of whom were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Tim took the time to answer some questions I had. Some mechs take the opportunity to look down their nose at you, however Tim did not. I was very impressed. I left my bike for the allotted time to do the tire change, tire balance, and brake pad change. When we came back to pick up the bike it was ready to go. My first concern of course was to see about the tires and brakes and see if things were aligned correctly. I should have just put on my gear and ridden off, because it was spot on. Consummate professional to the end, Tim advised me of some upcoming spring season issues to watch out for and showed me where the wear was occurring. Now the part you might be waiting for. How did the bike perform? Simple answer: it rode better than it had in the past year. Maybe it was the new tires, but I suspect Tim gave it some extra TLC that I had overlooked in my own ministrations on the bike. I gave it a long ride and even took it on the highway to see if I could feel if anything was off. Imagine my great pleasure at how smoothly my orange 2012 Suzuki VStrom was handling. They are my MC shop from here on out. Any repairs I cant take on myself, this is the place Im going. Amazing folks, amazing price, amazing work. Considering that a big shop would cost you significantly more and the quality could be significantly less, theres really only one choice to make. Call them now and get your bike/four wheeler in!!!

Saw this place advertised on CL so messaged them to see if they could work on a 1997 Yamaha ATV and they said they could! Brought it in and they fixed the ignition problem it had. The price was a little higher than expected, but thats because they found previous messed up repairs and had to fix those, but thats fine. A few months later, the ATV has developed the same symptoms, but told me to drop it off after I talked to them (even though they are extremely busy) so they can look into it. Im sure they will make it right. Like others said, their shop is clean which makes a statement to me. The MAJOR point I want to make is TDCC is willing to work on older machines which it seems most places refuse to do anymore! They even seemed willing to work on my 1985 Honda Aero 50 if I ever plan to get it running again. Top marks all around! I think they are shortstaffed at the moment, so give them time to do the repairs and you WILL be satisfied.

What a great shop! At first I thought I made a huge mistake buying a 37 year old dirbike, because finding a shop to service an older gem proved to be almost impossible. I was about to put the for sale sign on it when I ran across Top Dead Center Cycles. I reached out via e-mail and was pleased to learn they service older bikes. I took my bike over and met their technician Tim. Super nice guy, and VERY knowledgeable. He took the time to explain to me the ins and outs of what could be going on with my bike. I was amazed at how much he knew about my model bike considering its age and limited production run. Parts are scarce, but I manage to get my hands on some great NOS parts which they had no issue with using. Once the parts were in, I had my bike back within a couple days. Extremely please with their work and professionalism. I found the shop I plan to stick with for all by motorcycle repair needs. Thanks Top Dead Center Cycles!

Top Dead Center is by far the best motorcycle shop Ive come across. They are very nice, they explain to you whats going wrong with your bike, they do their best to get it back to you as quick as they can, and they tell you how much its going to cost before they do anything, they give you options. All around great place. Not to mention the cheapest prices around. And I am not just saying that, I have gone to at least four other motorcycle mechanics around Raleigh, and now that Ive met these people I know that I was getting ripped off at all the other places. Im so glad I found Top Dead Center Cycles for my Kawasaki Ninja. From what Ive seen, this repair shop is the cheapest and best in Raleigh bar none.

I had an excellent experience with the staff at Top Dead Center Cycles. I brought in my vintage Yamaha for repair after being turned away by other local shops. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see such a clean repair shop. I was greeted promptly and written up. Seeing quite a few bikes there, I inquired about how soon they would be able to get to it and was told the diagnosis would be done the next day. They not only were able to get it diagnosed the next day they were able to source the parts and have me riding in less than 3 weeks. I am very pleased and will be telling all my friends about this shop.

Ill be honest, i was a little hesitant at first due to the fact that they arent working out of a large commercial building, but more so a large shop on private land. However, they were amazing! Very polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and they were able to give my ATV the quick fix that it needed that took me 2 months to finally give up on! Whats more, they quoted me about half of what the big box guys quoted me. They are very trust worthy and quick! Hard to find. I highly recommend them.

The guys at Top Dead figured it out rite away and got her running better than ever! I am 100% satisfied with the work they did. Very clean shop, and great prices as well. From this point on they’re the only shop I’d ever bring my bike to do any work on. Thanks again guys! You guys were awesome!

After getting the estimate, the parts were ordered and I was able to ride the following weekend. I will Definitely be back. Thanks for your service to the community.

This place is awesome. Everyone is very down to earth, and very willing to walk you through the process of what they are fixing and why.I took it in for a diagnostic on the fly, and they were able to let me know what needed to be fixed, and have it done by the end of the day. They have offered me multiple resources to customization places, and giving me helpful tips for customization, maintenance, and repairs.I live in Topsail NC, but will be coming to this store whenever I need something major done. Though Im pretty beat up over spending a lot of money, they have outstanding service. The lady brought me a water bottle outside while I waited, I was able to watch the process and discuss ways to avoid certain issues reguarding my specific model, which is not a common model.Follow Up (1 year later): I lows sided the bike in low speeds and insurance claimed my bike totaled even though it just has cosmetic damage. We are working on a solution and getting estimates for new parts and repairs, still holds true to who they are. Amazing shop. Reccomend just as much as before 110%.Great service, sick shop, returning customer!✌

We recently brought in our sons Honda Xr100 I’m for repair. We thought it needed a new kickstart gear unfortunately we were wrong. In trying to start the bike he had cracked the motor cases. To fix this with new parts would be very costly. Knowing this the team at TDCC found a good condition used bottom end on eBay for us and now we are able to have our son back on his dirt bike before Christmas. It was really great to work with a repair shop that seemed to truly care about us and not just the bottom dollar.

[Reluctantly,] I decided to take my beloved Yamaha Banshee in for a service job and maybe some performance upgrades. When I arrived I met Brett (the owner) and was amazed at his shop. It was clean, organized, and had a funky paint scheme from head to toe (very lively). Brett took the time to discuss what I was looking to do, my upgrade options, and give me an idea on costs. We came up with a game plan and because he was ordering high performance parts (Big bore kit, carbon fiber reeds, flat slide mikuni carb, and some sick mud tires) he told me to expect 2 weeks or so before it is ready. 8 days after I brought it by and sat down with him, Brandy called me and told me everything came in and went on. I couldnt believe it so I flew up there. Low and behold, my Banshee was sitting there all cleaned up and looking amazing with her new tires. Brett let me crank it up and take it for a spin and OMG 😲 it was scary fast. To add, when I looked it the bill, it took 2 hours less time for the install so I saved extra on top of the low shop rates and competitive parts costs.BOTTOMLINE: Their prices are UNTOUCHABLE, shop is CLEAN!NO HIDDEN COSTS!Their customer service should be an example for the whole powersports industry.I will never take my ATV anywhere else, I am a customer for life. Now to see if they work on SUVs and trucks.Thank you guys for the excellent experience, Ill be back. 😎
