I have been to NB store at the old location a few times and had great experiences, but on this particular day, I was beyond disappointed. I went in a little over a month ago, during the week, looking to replace my 840s from last year. The store was bright, clean, and pretty empty, but customer service was definitely lacking. Hoping that I would be able to get some comfy kicks during my lunch break, I was greatly disappointed. There was only 1 customer when I walked in who was speaking with a gentleman who could’ve been the manager. Never did I get a “hello”, a hand wave, or any type of acknowledgment from the employee - he continued on with his conversation. A female employee was also in the store rushing around, helping someone on the phone. Again, she came near me, looked through a rack that I was just passing by, and never paused her conversation to at least say “I’ll be with you in a moment”. I stayed in the store long enough to browse several pairs of sneakers, feeling their weight, checking out the style, doing what I thought I needed to do to show that I was interested in making a purchase and STILL nothing from the folks working there.On my way out, again, I got no acknowledgment.I love NB for walking/running but I will no longer take my business to this store. I will support the small, local stores near me that offer consistent, quality customer service to ALL potential buyers.

Just bought me a pair of New balance shoes. Josh was the one taking care of my shoe needs. He was so kind and such a gentleman. He for sure went far and beyond his care for me. I will be trying out the shoes, starting tomorrow.. I know New balance is a great brand. I was happy with all serves.

Recently took 2 trips around eastern NC shopping for a new pair of athletic shoes; about 200 miles. Id always bought New Balance shoes in Raleigh for over 20 years and for the past 10 years actually over the telephone. Made the call, talked to Karen and my 990s were here in two days. Karen was top. notch

Ask for Jo!! Only shoes I own are Birkenstocks (closet full), until today. Jo (guessing early 20s, African American man, calm disposition, very friendly and came across like he genuinely wanted to help me find something that would work for me) spent almost an hour helping me find a pair of New Balance that would work for me. I ended up buying a pair of classic 574s and arch support insoles because I have flat feet and need solid arch supports. The arch issue is why Ive only worn Birkenstocks the last 24 years. Jo figured out what I needed for support by uskmg a super cool digital machine that measures all sorts of feet metrics. Then Jo showed me a pair of 860 which he said is actually made for people like me who need arch support. I tried them on and was instantly in heaven. So I bought the 860s also. I made sure to get Jos info because Ill be buying more New Balances in the next few months. Im sure other people working in the store are friendly and helpful, but my experience with Jo was 5-star and I have no intention of or desire to deal with anyone else. Thanks for a 5-star experience, Jo. See you soon for more shoes my friend. Might bring my wife and son so you can get them fitted for some shoes too!

This place is amazing when it comes to customer service. We had ended up on the wrong foot after I placed an order online that didnt workout. I was a little disappointed by the amount of made in US shoes they had in store despite what was offered online. My only reason for not being 5 stars. The owner of this place really cares about his customers and got me fitted in the best shoe he could and I have continued to come back and bring friends to get shoes here knowing that quality and service is better than any other shoe store around. Just wish they could get more Us and Uk made NB shoes that would make this rate an easy 5.

Had to do a return today. The associate who took care of me looked at the shoes, looked at my gait, and heard my concerns. He told me they should not have sold me those shoes and quite readily gave me full store credit. It was over 30 days, so I dont think a refund was an option. I had to go, but I look forward to returning and getting what I need. Excellent service.

Visited for the first time today. It was a little hard to find due to the construction in the area, but well worth the visit.Received excellent customer service from Joshua (I hope that is his name - the name on the receipt). I told him the problems I was having with my current shoes and what I needed in my new shoes. He asked me a few simple questions, made a great recommendation, and helped me find the perfect fit. When they didnt have the size in a color I liked, he called another store and is having the shoes shipped to my home.Store was clean, and the service was quick, especially since it was around lunch time. I would highly recommend. I had tried to find shoes on Zappos and Amazon, but having a knowledgeable salesperson really made a difference for me.I will definitely visit again.

Needed to find good shoes for a job that is 8 hours on my feet and stopped by the New Balance Raleigh store and met Jason Garza. He took his time with us and we never felt rushed even though we got there close to closing. Went back a week later to get shoes for my spouse and got the same friendly service. This is where we will be getting our shoes going forward.

I handed the rep a prescription for my shoe. He and another rep begin to talk about what would be the best shoe. They had me to walk and then determined the right shoe. And they were on point. The shoe feels good.

Sales staff were helpful despite being busy. It took about ten minutes including getting my feet measured.

This store is great! Another employee had previously fitted me.. Poor job told me my feet were beyond cute shoes.I accepted the poor fit and went home. Too wide. Came back was greeted by Arnett, measured my foot...yeees! Much better fit. I bought two pair and yes I can wear cute shoes! Thanks Sir. I will be back.

A little tricky to find in the shopping center but New Balance uses great technology to analyze your foot size and how you walk. They have a small track which notes where you place pressure on your feet while walking and can offer a more personalized shoe recommendation than other sneaker stores.

Its New Balance... Its a great show, a great store and always available when I need them. Ive bought New Balance shoes since I was in my early 20s and never stopped since. I love the brand and the quality of the shoe. It is a business model that looks out for the customer and treats you like youre the most important person that day. Whether youre just buying 1 pair or multiple pairs of shoes, the service is always the same and is spot on. I cant wait for the foot support machine that will be going in shortly. Combined those two things keep me rolling right along without any issues. Keep it up New Balance. You had me at Hello!

This was our first visit to this store but not our last. Gregory was helpful and knowledgeable. He fitted my feet correctly and chose the correct shoes to meet my needs. I bought and returned four pairs of tennis shoes to Amazon, because none of the shoes fit and at least one pair appeared to be a knock-off. Save time and visit New Balance Raleigh.

I came in looking for a pair of trainers for HIIT workouts - Joshua was very helpful and recommended the Minimus Prevail. So far I love these shoes; they are very comfortable, great quality, and look amazing! The store was very clean and organized with a nice selection of apparel/shoes. I strongly recommend this New Balance store for great customer service and high quality products!

Finally upgraded my old 2014 980s to the new 1080s. Crazy comfortable, like walking on air! Had my size in 4E and gave me a discount since we were from out of town and missed the sale last week. And donated the 980s still in good condition

Honestly was tentative going in, as I had seen horrible reviews on Yelp! about this store. They do not hold up IN THE SLIGHTEST!Went in to get new sneakers with my mother and was greeted within 5 minutes of coming in, despite several other customers being present and being attended to. We were helped by Tricia, who was absolutely amazing. She sized and quickly pointed out that my mother not only had wide feet, which we both have and it makes shoe shopping torture, but she also assessed that she might even need an extra wide. With that in mind, Tricia asked the level of activity my mom participated in and suggested a shoe. She mentioned that this shoe had a larger toe box, and therefore my mother could probably be comfortable in a normal wide. They fit. First try. My mom was thrilled. The whole scenario took ONLY 20 minutes, yet again, a miracle for someone with wide feet.Honestly so very impressed with the amount of technical knowledge Tricia showed, and also her obviously natural lean towards customer service. I am now convinced that the hike from Apex is WELL worth the trip.

I recently moved to Raleigh and needed to get some new running shoes. Arnett was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and patient with me as I tried on several different pairs and went for short jogs in each pair to see how they felt. Will definitely be coming back again in the future.

This is the best place to purchase New Balance shoes and clothing. They take the time to fit you, and insure you have the best New Balance products.I have been shopping with them for over five years. Always good service, and a large selection of shoes to choose from. I have to wear a size 14D shoe and they often carry in house or can get from Durham shoe the next day.They take the time to provide excellent service and knowledge that you can get from a trained person, rather than a department store.

Gary was a big help. I wanted the same shoes again but the style was changed and they were too tight in the toe box. Gary offered to order another same shoe to see if it fit better. He also suggested another different shoe that he thought would fit better. He took a long time with me and finally I took his suggestion and bought the shoes he suggested.I am very pleased with the new shoes. Thanks Gary.I will be back again. I have recommended this store to friends that have also bought from this store.

I walked into this place and greeted all give cashiers behind the counter. No one replied back to me. A employee came over and asked the type of shoe that I was looking for. I informed him that I wanted a walking shoe. He showed me a pair. I told him that I didnt want it and that I was looking for something different. He said it was the best pair for my feet. He didnt show me anything different so I left. I refused to buy something that I didnt care for. I will never come back to a store that I cant get what I want.

I have had arch, heeo, knee, hip and back pain for sometime now that has gotten progressively worse the past six mths. I went to The Good Feet store but they didnt have a shoe in my size and the price for the inserts was enough to give me a heart attack. They recommended New Balance and I am so thankful they did. My first day in my new shoes and virtually no pain! I am extremely thankful for their help. Great customer service and the staff truly knows what there are talking about.

I have very hard to fit feet, and on top of that, I was just given a big, bulky brace to wear for a torn ligament, and the brace has to fit inside a shoe. The guy who made the brace recommended this place because they have a pedorthist working there. These guys gave me unbelievable customer service. Two men worked with me for close to an hour, making sure I could get a good comfortable fit in both feet. They gave me a discount since I have to have two different sized pairs of shoes with the brace now. They were so caring, detailed and kind. Ive never experienced that kind of service in a shoe store before. I highly recommend New Balance Raleigh to anyone, but especially to those who have a hard time finding comfortable shoes!

Greeted by staff on arrival, only customer, Joshua tended to me: he was quick, attentive, knowledgeable and witty.

Rude from the moment I walked in the store. Was told they wouldnt even carry the New Balance shoes I was wearing. Very insulting. Clerk came up with three places I could find them. Being new to town, I asked where one location might be and he snapped I dont know. Walked out of store.

Unprofessional and unknowledgeable customer service from two of the employees. No intro or greeting, the employee just walked up and spoke unprofessionally to me and my child. The same employee told me incorrectly that a shoe was not made in Extra Wide width and he didnt bother to search or purchase online. When I complained to another employee, the 2nd employee said that this store is a franchise and does not carry the same products as corporate New Balance. This 2nd employee didnt offer to search online either; he eventually conceded and said the 1st employee made a mistake. 2nd employee also interrupted my discussion with the manager and tried to argue with me in front of other customers. The only reason for 2 stars and not 1 star is because the poor manager understood my complaints about the unprofessional comments as well as incorrect information about the wide width shoes. She said that if the shoe was in stock online then the store could purchase; here is a problem solver and someone trying to earn a sale! As she apologized, it was as if the empathetic look on her face and tone in her voice said, I know, I deal with these rude people everyday. Im really sorry.

Came in asking for 247s but was told to check out the mall because this is a technical running store. I saw the Cruz and 574 on display, so it just seemed like they didnt want to help me find a casual shoe. Not giving them my business.

One of the most important things about a business is customer service and today was my first time coming here and I received the best service i have wver received any where, i am not sure what the gentlemens name was but it was an older gentlemen and since the minute i walked in the door he made sure i felt confortable and at home ... could ask for a better service ... thank you guys and the staff
