Got a backup camera installed, my bluetooth was not working because a microphone was not installed and the steering wheel control were not hooked up. Dan was amazing. He explained everything and was extremely detailed in his explanation and very honest They had the car ready in one day and the price was very reasonable. We had a good experience.

They replaced the existing 2007 Porsche Bose radio system with a brand new SONY system, maintaining the Bose speaker system. FLAWLESS installation. Perfect system for the car. Fast, prompt, courteous, and 100% professional. Ill be going back for a few other things that I want to do: Radar, Window Tint, Back-up camera, and Im sure Ill think of others. But this is a one-stop-shop.

Walked in asking for some advice on ripping out the stock audio system in a 2014 Corvette and doing a carplay upgrade. Andy recommended something they had done to a previous client with the same car and within a couple weeks of receiving all the necessary parts they completed the install which only took a day and a half. When I went to pick it up I was amazed at how clean and stock looking everything was but also with how great it sounded. They did a phenomenal job from start to finish and would recommend to anyone looking to get quality work done on their car.

They just did an installation for my 1980 mgB and it was a pleasure to deal with them. Andy and Dan we very helpful in recommending the right equipment and Bex did a super job on the installation which came out super. THE SOUND IS GREAT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

Had a fantastic experience working with the Model Electronics team from start to finish. I called and spoke with Dan, told him what I was looking for, and he was attentive, sent me a few options, and was always responsive with communication. We talked everything through, decided what was best for me at the time, and I scheduled an installation appointment for a couple weeks later. I had a sub box installed, radar detector mounted, and wireless phone charger hardwired. Everything came out soooo nice, and I had the biggest smile on my face as I drove home from the shop. I would 100% recommend these guys and will be returning in the future!

The worst. I had an install of bluetooth system years ago, it fell apart in the car, I took it back, they didnt stand behind their install wanted to sell me another one. Next, I wanted a new head unit and a remote start. took two weeks to get in, then after install no remote start. Of course, they want to blame me for their fail. I ask if they keep car and put in remote start. Oops, now they have covid in the building and are shutting down. then the guy walks us outside and wants to show us how the head unit works. Jeez, i want to be a mile down the road from this guy, as quick as possible. Dont buy anything here, look elsewhere. I wish i could do negative stars.

This place is the best. After taking my car to the dealer, and two other shops and nobody was able to figure it out, they were able to figure it out and fix some other things along the way. Great customer service, Dan kept me up to date with every step and explained everything thoroughly, will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks again!

I cant say enough good things about Andy and Dan. I bought a new Honda Fit and I wanted to install front and review cameras. I went to Model Electronics and they installed the cameras front and back. The car started making noises when I drove it with the windows down. The honda dealership said that Model Electronics installed the cameras poorly and that is where the noise was coming from. Not only did Model Electronics help me throughout the whole process. They installed and uninstalled my cameras on 3 separate occasions to prove there was a factory defect in the car AT NO CHARGE! Dont waste your time with other companies that dont stand behind there work. Do yourself a favor and go see Dan or Andy.

I had a remote starter installed and could not be happier with the service I received. Andy took care of all my questions(I had a lot), had me scheduled the next day, install time was crazy fast and the staff explained operation well. They know what they are doing. Not on the cheap end, but I feel like you pay for the quality. Had new radio and speakers installed here 2 years ago, work great still. My partner had fog lights done, same.

Dan was very courteous and professional, and Andy was always quick to respond to my emails and get me the best price around. You dont have documentation of me because I refused to give it to you for a simple CASH sale! It is NOT possible I confused you with another store. What a joke this place is.

Hi, I had a new alarm installed on my 99 Chevy Tahoe. I made an appointment with Dan and he called to confirm the day before. The alarm was installed while I waited because I wasnt able to get a ride to come back. They did a great job and explained what I was getting. Im extremely happy with the service, professionalism and honesty. Also, I had a problem on my 02 Chevy Tahoe, wifes car, I installed a new radio and I could not hear any sound. The old radio was not working. I couldnt figure out the problem and thought it was the amp. I took it to them and they found out us was just a fuse. Other places wouldve ripped me off!!!! Just got my car back, the new stereo and new speakers sound great. Everything is in one piece so all well. But I am disappointed in one thing and thats the price. Disclosure first, I went in there with no idea what I wanted, so its basically on me but the total price was 800 for the speakers and the radio. Lets say it was 100 in taxa so I assumed insulation would be like 200 and I would have gotten 500 in product. I was quite wrong. The radio itself was a 80 dollar radio and the two sets of speakers totaled 270 give or take. So the installation fee was 350 dollars or so. Thats a little crazy in my opinion. I would have liked a little higher end product for the amount I spent. BUT ITS MY FAULT FOR NOT GOING IN DEPTH with the price. The people helping me were very nice and informative. I will definitly think about Going back for more work on my car but will do my research first on produces

Im not going to lie. After reading a few reviews on here, I wasnt going to give Model a chance. But I took my chances and it was a great experience. My car was a complete mess, radio not working and not installed, driver window not working, after market audio system leftovers and a few other things out of wack! A complete mess!!During the process, Andy at the front desk was great, he kept me informed of each and every mess they were finding. He gave me a solution and price at once with no hesitation. Yes, the bill was not what I was expecting, but neither all the problems they found. So overall a highly recommend Model, they are GM certified and know what they are doing.

I wanted a remote car starter. Did some research, found the best one (Viper). Stopped by on a Friday met with Andy. He recommended the same one at a fair price. Made an appointment for Monday at 8:30. Instal took about 3 1/2 hours which is what he said it would take. I waited for it, had some coffee, watched tv. Showed me how to use it. DONE. Real professionals!. Works great. Turns on the car from my second story apartment.

These guys are the best in the business my son totaled his H3 so I took the head unit out having to cut wires and the Model guys reinstalled it in his new truck I only had to buy one XM module I forgot to remove from the other truck and they didnt even try to sell me new speakers they said ours were fine, so now Im bringing my 2011 Mustang for an entire Navigation / Sound system.Thank you Model Electronics

My wife had a problem with the remote start in the truck it just stop working and he and the guys fix the problem didn’t even charge us since it was just a link issue. Always great service and fair pricing and these guys know their stuff!! Highly recommended!!!

I Spoke with the guys over at Model,, I wanted to put a back up camera on my skid steer for safety reasons and visibility,, They they took care of it didn’t awesome job now I can see freely without damaging property or personnel,, If I thought about this year’s ago I would’ve done it then. great if your snow plowing, or backdragging,, if you have a skid steer I would suggest a install,, you know people love to sneak up behind machines !!!awesome job guys,, I went as far as fabricating a protective guard for the camera,, Wish I knew how to include a picture for you guys

These guys are the best. They installed a remote starter and cruise control on an older Toyota Corolla we purchased in 2016 and did a beautiful job at a reasonable price. They also have a great selection of electronics in their store. More recently, we purchased a 2014 RAV4 from Prestige Toyota, and their service department in Mahwah installed a remote starter for us before we took the car home. Toyota did a terrible job, leaving electrical tape all around the ignition and completely covering the ignition illumination ring, and said there was nothing they could do to make it look better. So we took it down the street to Model Electronics and they were kind enough to fix it for us for free. Now we can see the ignition at night and dont have ugly electrical tape sticking out all round the keyhole. Thank you, Model Electronics!

I brought my Mercedes for a Head unit install. I supplied the HU & they would do the install. I showed them my car & also the unit. When the car was completed. They handed me a bill for $150 never telling me along they way that there would be an increase in fees.I told them that i wasnt gonna pay anything more to the agreed terms the person at the front desk looked at me with a dumb face shugged his shoulders and said let me see what i can do. As if I am being a cheap ass in the situation. So then i tell him. As he walks away I offered to split the difference as the car did require work to install but i was never told upfront about an increase in fee and they agreed to the $75 for the install.I feel they need to learn something in customer service. Because its still lacking.I wouldnt go back. I also overheard them selling other customers in the store. They are horrible at that too. Just fire the greeter.. He isnt helping the business grow at all.

Need to hire more staff. I was practically ignored for a half hour. Then guy takes a phone call and continues to ignore me.

If I could, I would not even give them the ONE STAR.I purchased over $7500.00 worth of electronics for my Raptor, so I would think that the manager of the Ramsey store would try to accommodate me when THEIR installations failed. No...not the case. Instead, he tries to bait and switch me with every underhanded trick in the book to try and sell me new and better technology. My advice to anyone looking to have these aftermarket items installed: Get a local tech-head to do the installation after research on the web. There are many websites which give you blow by blow descriptions on how to install. But my main recommendation is to STAY AWAY FROM MODEL unless you have a lot of spare time to go back three and four times so they get it installed right, but also be prepared to shell out more $$$$$ to have them fix THEIR MISTAKES!!!Really tired of sitting in their showroom, time after time to get them to repair THEIR CRAPPY INSTALLATION. Oh, by the way: While waiting there for them to repair my headlights for the 5th time today, 2 other customers came in with issues with the installations. Go figure...
