I purchased a Premier Pro Cut chefs knife as a gift for my roommate. I needed to modify the engraving option I had selected, and I received a response to my request in no time on a Saturday night. Great Product, Great Customer Service. I decided to finally invest in a good set of knives, did a lot of research and the Gunter Wilhelm Executive 2 line looked like a great match of affordability and quality. The knives look great on our counter, have a nice weight / balance and are very sharp. Purchased the 13 piece set (and steak knives) and I anticipate being able to pass these on to our daughter one day. There was a minor problem with the initial order, however Gunter Wilhelm’s customer service folks expertly handled my questions and promptly resolved the situation to my complete satisfaction. The folks managing GW have a great knowledge of knives, a passion for producing a quality product and were a pleasure to work with. I recommend Gunter Wilhelm knives for your kitchen or as a gift and I have a lot of respect for the individuals running the company.

Very friendly and knowledgeable stuff. great service. Had to replace broken knife few yrs ago and this was one of the smoothest transactions in my life.Defiantly worth spending premium money for knives knowing that company always back them up. Bought first knife about 10 yrs ago, 2 more in a yr or 2 and then bought one more set about 2 yrs ago. Love all of them.And to make it better - Called in and asked how much does it cost to sharpen and to my surprise they sharpen there own product for free.

I am absolutely obsessed with my premier procut knife set. I’ve tried a couple other “high end” brand name knives at my in-laws or a friends house and always come back to these. My brother actually has some experience in pocket knife manufacturing and loves my kitchen knives. Like anything nice it all comes down to caring for them. Honing the edge, hand washing and drying, and they will last a lifetime!

My first time at the store, dealing with David was an amazing experience. He is a wealth of knowledge and was extremely helpful. Picking up 20 knife kits for our cooking school was truly a humbling experience. WHile there David gave me a tour of the store and spoke about his products and people using the knives. I will be purchasing knives for myself for personal/professional use, and look forward to working with David in the near future. Thank you David! The knives are awesome! Having used knives from various manufacturers, these really feel right in my hand. The scientific aspect of how they are made, (ask David) I cannot explain it, really took me over the top for wanting these knives. If I could personally afford the black pans, I would own those too, but on my salary, that will never happen... I wish it had not taken me 30 years to find these, but glad I am here now.

Met with Tom and he was attenuative and understanding to my requirements for my folding knife collection. He did razor sharp edges with different degrees per side as I asked and I have hard use tested them with cutting and carving of wood and the blades slid thru like butter, great Job Tom! Keep honing (no pun intended) your skills and lots of luck. I will definitely be back with more. And they were done in 2 days, fastest turn around I have experienced.

Ok, so this my second time purchasing with you all.The first purchase was the Executive series Chef.So this time I purchased another Executive (gave first as gift).As well as a pairing, and boning knife.The Executive is a straight machine ! When I pull it out at work the other cooks just look. I catch my Chef peeking.I work on Embarcadero in SF. Big tourist spot.
