After a couple months of anticipation, the setup guys arrived a day early and managed to get it all constructed in just one day. It looks great and the shade is wonderful. There was a hail storm a few days later and it was lovely to stand underneath and listen. Im looking forward to barbecues and eating underneath it this summer.

The Sales Agent: Matt was very concerned for our household and was masked up and even took off his shoes. He did a masterful presentation, our questions were answered and all concerns were addressed during and after contract signing.The Company: Candace made sure to keep us up to date and even offered to take care of the HOA part of the project. The HOA however, only wanted to deal with the homeowners. No problem. Kept us appraised with the building permit process, and materials status.The Materials: we got the TEMO Brand materials and these are top-of-the-line. Made in Detroit, Made in The U.S.A.! Their styro-insulation is so dense, pressing your finger on it will not leave a mark. The metal is extruded aluminum and if you are wondering, it is not flimsy.The waiting game: building permit got approved before the materials. The materials... hehehe. The materials. We signed the contract on January and the materials arrived in April. Keeping in mind, these were manufactured in Detroit.The construction: its a 10x20 fully insulated patio cover with fan beam. The day it arrived in April was the same day it went up!The Workers: Andrey (Project Manager) dropped by and walked me through the job and answered and addressed anything and everything that i had concerns on. Stan and Daniel were very polite, courteous and professional they also cleaned up like they had their own cleaning-crew! Ask for these guys. We wanted to express our thanks for the job well done to Joseph and his dedicated crew Peter and Elizeo. They did an amazing job from the start to completion of this project. Joseph went above and beyond his duties, always have suggestions and ideas to enhance the beautification of our sunroom. We are grateful for everything they did that now we enjoy looking at the fantastic view from inside of our sunroom. This is one of the best improvements and investments we made to our house. We are so happy that a second floor sunroom out of our master’s bedroom will be built soon. Of course we are choosing the same crew for this project.

We added a 300 sq ft patio cover that extended out to our pool. The problem was we needed it to be 26 ft wide and we only wanted two posts. California Sunroom was the only company that said it could be done but would need double beams.David in the office was our contact. Alex and Vlad did the work on site and daily communication about the process, start and end times was great. Alex and Vlad were very considerate of our new concrete work, furniture, and pool. California Sunrooms did a great job altering our existing patio cover to fit our needs. The initial quote meeting was very thorough, and the person we worked with was very knowledgeable and walked us through all our options to make sure we had a full understanding of the pros and cons of altering what we had or building something new. They kept us well informed with the progress of materials and they were able to do the install quickly and efficiently. And they didnt leave a mess behind! Such a great contractor experience, compared to many of the other experiences Ive had with general contractors since buying my house. Would definitely recommend working with them.

We had them install a trex deck, 25x16 in size. The crew was supervised by Joseph Melendez. What a pure pleasure it was to see him work and teach his men at the same time. Their work is fantastic. We had Joseph work out a tricky step we wanted installed at an angle, which he did to our full satisfaction. I bought the crew lunch for building us a great deck. We could not be happier. I went with the highest quality patio cover. It was more $$ but I think it was worth it. We were held up with Roseville permitting process, but that is government, here to help.

California Sun Rooms did a fantastic job the first time. Thats why we had them do the work on our new house. They installed a patio cover and added an RV /boat parking to our driveway. They were fast, clean and came out great.I recommend them.

I recently contracted with California Sunrooms to removed an existing backyard trellis/pergolas and replace it with a new one made from aluminum. Karl our sales contact, was great and helpful in suggestions for electrical and lighting options. Karl was also instrumental in helping me get the new new pergolas approved by our very restrictive Home Owners Association. Once we started the project, Dave in the California Sunrooms office was in constant contact with scheduling updates, material updates, etc. Finally, Andre and his entire installation crew were professional and fast. I would definitely recommend California Sunrooms.

It is rare today to contract with a firm like CA Sunrooms that works so hard to please the customer. Only after I received proposals from two companies did I see a direct mail CA Sunrooms advertisement and feel fortunate that I did! Jeff the Salesman was Top Notch; he brought construction materials to show the superior quality of their Patio Covers AND he followed the project to completion. Stan and his assembly chew were awesome, and Dave the Office Manager was assessable and efficient. Everyone at CA Sunrooms were friendly, professional, and expert at their jobs. I highly recommend contracting CA Sunrooms to complete your project.

After a little confusion on the installation of the patio cover the guys did a great job of changing a our patio cover from partial to solid coverage. We are really enjoying our patio cover. Even sat outside and watched it rain without getting wet.

Just finished my deck project. I could not be more pleased. Its far better than I anticipated. Joseph, Francisco and Clayton were great to work with. I kept having new design ideas. They helped me hone my ideas so I have a very usable and beautiful space.

From all of the estimates we received for our project, California Sunrooms gave us the best price. Therefore we chose them and had a sunroom, patio and concrete installed. We are very, very pleased with our choice. The entire crew, from Scott, who quoted us the estimate to each crew member who worked on our project had excellent customer service and took absolute pride in their work. The owner also came out to ensure the job met his high standards, and to ensure that we were pleased with the crews and their work. The installation crews were very pleasant to deal with and their workmanship was outstanding. Everyone from the office staff(David and Wanda) to each crew member were very easy and pleasant to work with. Any concern we had was addressed immediately and appropriately. Our sunroom and patio is excellent and the concrete with the retaining wall just makes it an even more peaceful, relaxing environment for us, our family and friends to enjoy. We are very pleased with our choice of adding a sunroom, covered patio, and pergola. The installation crews were very pleasant to deal with and their workmanship was great. Every potential problem we pointed out was quickly addressed and corrected.

Terrible customer service. My patio was installed about this time last year and still waiting for the permit. David Armstrong (Office Manger) and Wanda Alvi’s (VP) follow through and customer service is terrible. I have to contact numerous times before I get a reply which is “no updates” or more work I have to put in so they can complete the job I paid them for. Wish they had a “zero” star option. Bottom line: California Sunrooms is quick to take your money, but once your balance is paid, they could care less about if done right. Buyer beware...seek another contractor before you too are victim of a scam!Well a follow-up to my original post. Was contact by David and an empty promise to “try” and get our project completed within the week...still no movement. What an ineffective office manager...own the process and fix projects that are nearing 13 months.

Ive ordered a retractable awning from California Sunrooms. I was told it would be about 2 months to get it. I still have not gotten it and it has been over 4 months. To boot I have only gotten one call from them regarding the delay. This was after 3 months and before the Florida hurricanes which were to blame when I made a call recently. I wouldnt recommend this company especially if your job is small like mine.Byron

From the estimator to the completed installation everyone was kind and efficient. They did a great job installing the roof and the skylight. We would do it again with this company.

We were looking to update, and replace our existing Patio cover. So we went online initially to investigate designs, materials used, product warranties, and installation. We scheduled to meet with California Sunrooms amongst other Vendors to determine what would best meet our needs.Robbie was our Sales Associate/Consultant that afternoon. After initial introductions, he asked all the right questions to best understand what our product interests and use might be. Again, we were looking to replace our existing 30 year old Patio cover with a low maintenance, well designed cover preferably with a waranty. Robbie not only brought samples from several manufacturers, but was well versed on each of the manufacturers products which allowed him to provide a more custom product option to his clients. There was essentially quality products available at different price points to meet anyones level of investment. We settled on the product, design, and stepped outside to confirm dimensions on the future installation. We decided to take the plunge, entered into contract, and provided a deposit to seal the deal.In our case, the Patio cover was installed between 6-8 weeks after we signed the contract. That was for several reasons ... the first of which was the demo/removal of our existing Patio cover. California Sunrooms does offer these services, but I decided I would perform the demo-haul away to save some costs and I had the time. The other reason is the materials were a special order. All together between the demo, and the material order/delivery was just a couple of weeks.Everything from product orders, financials, and schedules was coordinated through David in the Main Office. So any business was conducted via phone, online, and final closure paperwork in person by the installation Crew members.The Patio cover installation took place over several days. Our primary installation Crew members were Andre, and Nick. The Crew members did a great job of communicating, asking questions, and insuring the installation was completed to our expectations as originally discussed during our initial consult. At end of each day all tools were stored, and the jobsite was cleaned up. At the completion of the installation we filled out a quick job survey, and then had several days to test drive our new Patio cover installation.Note that the product warranty paperwork was received 5-7 days in the mail after the final installation was completed.We gave California Sunrooms 5 Stars as we found them to be professional, informative, easy to work with, met our expectations, and carried quality products for installation to meet several price points.

Jeff and All of the California Sunroom staff earned a rating of 10, if that was the highest rating there was for customer service, construction, etc. Jeff was always reachable. We love our sunroom. Everyone went above and beyond for us. We highly recommend California Sunrooms for your sunroom.

I am conflicted about writing a positive review for California Sunrooms, but I am specifically writing to commend the installation team rather than for the experience as a whole. My installation was a roller coaster, starting with the sales person who offered everything but delivered little once I signed my contract, poor communication from the office about details, and lack of responsiveness about my concerns. I believe the Trex deck and Temo patio cover are good products, but the process was not. I repeatedly let the sales person know that I wanted regular interactions about the installation, but he was missing in action shortly after the job was contracted the first week of May (installation was completed in mid September). When other staff communicated about the job, it was unclear who was doing what and if there should be a discussion on details. In fact, some staff indicated that I should not concern myself about the details, even when the design submitted to city planning was wrong. But, the customer service changed when Joseph and his crew were assigned to the installation in mid July. Joseph communicated with me by email, text, and phone most anytime of the day or night to let me know what was next and when it would happen. He listened to my requests to consider small details, and he made sure he addressed all of them. His team did an excellent job framing out the 14x25 deck and improving the appearance with careful installation including adding a custom bench. He also did his best to accommodate my concerns on the patio cover installation, adjusting where he could to better fit the space. The crew was careful and were good at cleaning up after their work, and I was pleased with the appearance of the cover. However, about a week after the cover was completed, I was inside with guests on a Saturday afternoon when the 15x25 cover suddenly lifted off during a wind gust (only about 20-30 mph) and flipped upsidedown on my roof and chimney. I was able to climb on the roof and use ropes to secure the cover from flying off, but it was in a precarious state. I quickly contacted Joseph, and he dropped everything to gather his crew and immediately drive the 1.5 hours to my house. They were able to secure the cover and remove it by cutting it into pieces to lower it before dark.Although a mistake had been made, Joseph took responsibility for the installation error caused when critical screws holding brackets holding the cover to the posts were missed (he said it was the first time it has occurred). He arranged for ordering new materials and re-installation the cover two weeks later on Saturday at his cost. He replaced a damaged chimney cover and included additions to better secure the cover based on my suggestions. In the end, although the crew made a mistake, they made up for it by being accountable and rapidly replacing the cover at their cost. Thus, although my total experience doesnt warrant the very highest review, Im providing a very positive review for Joseph and his installation crew who made it all work out in the end. Ask for Joseph if you have the opportunity -- you wont regret it.

We recently had a TEMO patio cover installed by California Sunrooms. The entire experience was delightful from the first contact with the sales though the final installation and sign off by the county. TEMO is an incredible product and I highly recommend it. Robbie, our sales person, did a great job explaining options and guiding us through the decision making product. He is most knowledgeable and professional. He was always on time with his commitments and kept us informed throughout the process. Once the contract was signed David, in the front office, scheduled all activities and also kept us fully informed with any changes to the schedule. He was most responsive on our request for extra drawings needed for the HOA approval. The entire construction team headed up by Andrey were a pleasure to work with. They completed the job on schedule and answered all of the normal constructions questions I had. They offered suggestions during the process and cleaned up the site after the job was done. I am happy I chose California Sunrooms and the TEMO product and would do so again as well as recommend it highly for your consideration.

The Temo product line is swank and adaptable. The CA Sunrooms sales, installation and admin folks are the most professional group weve worked with on our Solano County home project.
