Doesnt give a repeat customer a discount and acts like they are doing you a favor when you buy a used part which usually is cheaper across the street at pick an pull, if you came here numerous times you should have loyalty or rewards or something, not attitude and rudeness, it could be a lot better especially when your customers make your business

Good guys to work with. Prices are a little high, but they have a huge inventory, and they are fast at pulling what you need.

Call for a skid plate for a 89-95 4runner and was told they had 2 in stock at $65 each. Drove an hour from Manteca to Rancho Cordova, got to the counter and was told they had skid plates from 1993 4runners in stock and to wait while they get pulled. 30 minutes go by and I get called to the counter only to be told that they couldnt find them. Their system shows 2 but neither one could be found. SORRY.2.5 hours wasted because its their policy to not pull and hold parts in advance...must be present for part to be pulled.Service reflects their business...a piece of junk!!

I needed a rear seat for my 2004 4Runner.I live in Oregon and my brother who lives local stopped by to see what the had available.Chris sent one there guys out to the yard and spent a bunch of time to find one that was just right.The next week a friend brought the seat to me in Oregon. When I received it, I found that I missing some brackets from my vehicle needed to mount them.Chris went out of way to get what I was missing and ship them to me.I highly recommend that if you need parts for your Toyota that you give these guys a call or stop by.

Just called to ask about what is on their website.Turns out that its NOT up to date whatsoever.they have cars listed as being there since 2007, thatare not there... buyers beware... what you see on the websiteis not for real.

The Chinese guy that works here is SO rude. Drove 40 minutes to get there and called ahead for a part. Got there and he was so unhelpful. He said he couldn’t get the part because obviously he didn’t want to help and wanted to leave. People shouldn’t work at a job where they so blatantly hate their life. Never coming here again. Terrible customer service so heads up.

Good source for used Toyota parts. A bit more expensive than your average pick and pull, but they take better care of the cars so they dont get too thrashed.

I rarely write reviews, but felt inclined with RTR. They never asked me to write a review nor do I think they really care. Their parts and service speak for itself; I think they know it.I’ve done business with them remotely for about a year now. My biggest order was when I purchased an entire 2UZFE motor from them, sight unseen. They told me the compression numbers, mileage and condition. I trusted them with no proof. I received the motor and it was EXACTLY as described. RCR’s service was the silver lining of an otherwise very stressful and troubling project of mine.One day I will be leaving California and RCR will be one of those businesses I will miss the most. Honest service, appropriate pricing that is consumer-friendly and overall a very safe business to deal with as a remote customer who only deals over the phone.A deserving 5/5. Please stay around for all us Toyota people.

I called this place just before I leave from Hayward to avoid any disappointment, the guy on the phone told me that they have the part and is in a good working condition. When I arrived and saw the part (back seat) it was torn and had a stain, it was worst than my current back seat in condition which I was going to replace it. This place really made me disappointed and have caused me a time and gas waste.

Be wary if you are buying electronic parts. They do not even bother to test them. I bought a console temp gauge and compass for my 2009 Tacoma. When I got it and installed the part it did not work. I know about this part and the troubles that come with it. So I took it apart and low and behold both 510 transistors were broken off. I fixed it myself but the temp gauge still does not work. Ok by me as I really just need the compass. However the point is this company proved to me that they not only do they not test the parts to see if they work-they could care less. All they want is your money

I have been a loyal sustainer for years here. The fact is, this place is strictly business and doesn’t have time to deal with idiots.It is impossible to think that any recycler can test every electronic sensor they pull from a car. There is a risk inherent to buyin used parts and if you ever get a bad one, these guys will swap it out no problem as lon as you’re not a jerk to them.The parts they sell are just as good, if not higher quality parts and they are consistently sold below average prices compared to other places. If you know what you want and need, this is the place to go. Just don’t expect hand holding.

Called for a motor. They told me it had 83k miles on it. When I went in to pay for it. The receipt said 133k. I decided to swallow it and take it anyways. Got home Ran a carfax on the VIN number of the motor and also found an auction page of that vehicle. Turns out it actually has 169k miles.Warning to all of you. Run the carfax of the VIN number on the engines you buy. All Toyotas have them since the early 90s

Needed to buy an engine for my vehicle.called theses guys they told me they had 1 of what I needed with 100k on it. Got there and ran the vin # on that same engine it turned out it had 170k already on the clock 2years ago. (They bought the car this year with miles unknown) Untested, no compression test, Will avoid this place next time.
