I had a very good experience with this company. I was about to order the incorrect clubs for my age and ability (I’m fairly new at golf) and when I spoke to John, he listened to me and took care of getting me correct clubs, shafts & grips.I played with them for the first time this morning (I play every day) and they are perfect, thanks to John. I couldn’t be happier. These I-DRIVE hybrid clubs are really fun to play with as they give me the extra distance due to their club weight and that’s what I have lost as I age.

These guys are absolute class! Havent been in-person, but the online experience is great. I bought almost every club in my bag from here. Even though they dont carry any top name-brands, they carry many quality products that perform outstandingly.There have only been two mishaps and both were handled excellently:1. One time the system messed up and didnt fully process my order, but my payment had been taken. I called the guys at Custom Golf Stop and after just a couple of minutes, they found the error and sent my clubs out the next day.2. One time, the driver I ordered was out of stock, so they reached out to me via email AND phone to make sure I was taken care of. They gave me a couple of options, whether that was waiting for the driver to be back in stock, getting a refund, or getting a comparable driver instead. I chose the last option, and they upgraded my shaft to one that suits the club a bit better, and also threw in a head cover for the hassle.Ive had many transactions here and every single one of them has been fast, easy, and overall great. These guys are helpful, and as for the products they offer, the clone clubs actually perform quite well. The irons, wedges, and hybrids are especially quite good, and the one putter that I bought from there has helped my alignment and Ive hit some of my best putts with it. The clubs I have bought from here have helped me shoot my lowest scores ever. Just be careful when buying things from here because buying new clubs that are this good for these low prices? Fast delivery of a quality custom made set of irons. Emailed Custom Golf Stop about a particular set of clubs, and John responded within 30 minutes. Called him the next day to discuss my choice of shafts and grips, and place my order. Couldnt have been a smoother transaction. Very pleased and will most definitely consider Custom Golf Stop for future purchases.

I found the clubs I used a few years ago on here, clones of Callaway X22s, and bought them all immediately. When they didn’t have the shaft I ordered I was contacted quickly and directly which I really appreciated and was offered a similar shaft and a SW to go with the set( I did not order the SW). They shipped incredibly fast and I’m so thankful to finally get the clubs I used to have again, that I searched for for so long. First hit at the range with the irons and I felt like it was 5 years ago playing with my old clubs. Even though I live in SC I will be patronizing this business virtually for ALL of my golf needs from now on. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for making me enjoy golf again, recent years have been a struggle not being consistent with iron play and just not having the same comfort and weight balance with my clubs I used to. Wasnt impressed by this place. Looks like they have lots of cheap quality knock off golf gear.

John at Custom golf stop is a strait-up business dude, Like all avid golfers I spend a ton of money on equipment, now that I found John I can buy more equipment more often and not feel guilty about all the money I spend on golf. He has top quality clone equipment for less than everybody else and his customer service is second to none. Thanks John for allowing me to get to experience more new equipment more often! I would give you ten stars if I could!

Great place to get a set of good generic clubs or get your clubs sized and re-gripped.

Terrible customer service!I Recently purchased a driver, took the driver to the range for the first time and on the second ball the shaft snapped, at the hosel, and the club head went flying. When I contacted the shop to tell them what had happened I was immediately blamed for the shaft breaking. I explained that I believed it was a defective shaft. I was told I could return for a refund less shipping ($15.00) and a 25% restocking fee ($39.00). Restocking a broken shaft?!?!?! Really? I was then told it could be repaired under warranty but I would have to pay shipping both ways ($15 X2). I was offered the option to put a different shaft on the club but I would have to pay for a second shaft and grip plus shipping both ways. I took the broken club to my local pro shop and immediately they suggested a defect in the shaft, based on the way it had snapped. I had my local shop put a new shaft, an upgraded shaft, on the club for much less than Custom Golf Stop was going to charge. Clearly Custom Golf Stop does not care about its customers or the quality of the product they are putting out. All they care about is getting your money and then getting more of it when the product is defective.

Found a set of Taylormade irons that I liked, but didnt feel like spending $700. After searching around, I found custom golf stop and they carried the clones ( NOT counterfeits/knock offs, but the same specs as the OEMs for about 70% less, Usually built in the same factory as the big company clubs ). I was available to get 4-PW with upgraded shafts, a driver, 3 wood and 5 wood for under $320, and John even took some off for a referral I sent their way. Hes even donated and discounted equipment for a charity golf tourney Im involved in. I would highly recommend them, especially if starting out and you dont want to drop $1000 on a certain brand name set of clubs

I bought the Heater B1 Cup Face Driver on 11/20/2017, however, after 7-8 months limited use, the bottom of the metal casing cracked from toe to heal. After contacting Custom Golf Stop about the problem, they said the 6 month warranty had expired. I continued to use the driver, and the metal casing has cracked even further, and it is useless. Do not buy this Driver.The quality of the 3 world manufacturer is terrible.
