Worst store ever. Been going to dawes for 2 years. Hust went in today to buy a puff bar ipened it out front and it didnt work. Walked right back inn and they wouldnt give me a new one they actually wanted me to talk to the rep on the phone. When i called my wife to tell her what was going on and to report the store he kicked me out of the store and told me to hit him in front of the camera so he could have me arrested. I never said anything about hitting him.

This is like any other liquor store for the most part. The food/snack selection is poor. They mostly have beers and liquor. Small wine selection of cheap wines. The beer selection is pretty good compared to other shops. They have lots of dark beers, IPAs and stouts. The liquor prices are fair and competitive. Some of the candy can be old so check the prices of anything before you buy it. Only bad experience I ever had was, I went in right after opening one morning on my way out of town at 7am. I walked in, grabbed a couple things, walked around, then realized I wasnt that hungry and kinda broke. I put the items back where I got them from and started to walk out the door. The lady started screaming that I was a theif and she knew I stole something. I stopped dead in my tracks. I tried to assure her that I shop there all the time and I would never steal from them. Its a fmaily owned business and my family has shopped there for over a decade. She didnt want to believe me and threatened to call the cops if I didnt put the candy back. I pulled out my pockets, told her, call the cops. I DIDNT STEAL ANYTHING. She didnt call and told me to leave. Like I did something wrong. Moral of the story, they will profile you.

This guy is awesome i live a few blocks away and try to hit up his place when i have money to get some stuff. his prices are good and he is great to his re-turning customers. i have been going to this guy for almost 4 years now and i cant complain. Sonny is the owner and he looks out for you when youre at his place. I even feel safe at night. Sonny has my back. if youre ever in the neighborhood tell sonny you read Hitts review online about him. hes sure to take care of you.

The staff here is really awesome. If you come here even somewhat often they remember you(I only come once every 2-4 weeks) but they still remember me and are super nice. If youre like $0.50 short or whatever they may just tell you to get them back(if youre a regular and are good for it) they actually seem like they care unlike a lot of other liquor stores. I do wish there cigarettes were cheaper tho cause the gas station on the corner sells my camels for at least $0.75 cheaper if not more...

All the cashiers are nice and friendly. They also have a great liquor and beer selection. Decent prices for a convenience store

Nothing better then getting scammed on 4 of July bought an iteam for 1$ charged me 1$ of my card said it declined so I paid with cash. 1$ not a big deal but was it worth the reputation ?
